1. Yes that could be a good idea to make it based such rewarding system based on the player level and with a daily limit.
2. Jup the Conquest ship will be based on the Sirius armors so that the ship has a similar performance like on the other systems. The look of the ship will be the same as the other conquest ships. For the big ancient ships we have other plans :p
3. Yes that is planned along with many other new stuff. But more on that on the other devshacks
4. The conquest planet will not collapse and will be located on the wormhole. Here is a screenshot ^^

1. Ads marketing is very expensive and raises when more competitors are joining the market. We simply do not have the budget to compete against the big players on the market. Alternatively we work together with publishing partners and use social networks to attract new players. "Word of mouth" as HGus mentioned is also very helpful if you would like to help.

2. Yes, we are currently a small team but we can use this as a benefit. We had a bigger team once and learned that it does not automatically mean that you are quicker of more efficient. You quickly loose the agility that a small team has when increasing the team size. Only after there are enough people to handle the management and other things, that get important with bigger teams this will get an improvement. But that results in a large jump in personnel costs that must be handled. The games do not make enough profit to handle such a large team and we did not want the cripple the games with features to milk them dry. So now we are back to a small motivated team to focus upon improving the game.

3. Since we have bigger plans for Tau Ceti we want to prepare some things first before finishing Tau Ceti. Read the other Dev Shacks for better understanding.

4. Facebook etc. is not a reliable source to get such statistics. We have over 10K monthly active users playing Pirate Galaxy.

Ok hopefully this is honest enough and can understand us ;) But now lets get back to the PVP topic with your questions and feedback, Its getting quite off topic now.

My opinion: PVP only with the same system ships! The lvl of the pilot has no influence on this. Then everyone has a chance to get the bounty.

Thanks for giving me the answer I wanted, please keep that kind of update going. I love the game. I will do my best on my end to use word of mouth. If everyone else invited all their friends on Facebook or other social networking sites that would be cool. I don't think that you have to compete with this game in my opinion. It's kinda its own niche you just gotta get news about it out there. At some point, word of mouth won't be enough. Then you will have to advertise, and spend money to make it. I personally would like to see something done to stop the gang up i.e. 4 to 5 players to 1 player. Most of the time, that's how PVP goes. It kinda makes it dull. If it could be changed to only 1 to 1 that would be a big improvement in my book. LOL hearing 4 to 5 players brag about killing one person is...well I couldn't think of something to say about that except wow... really, realllly?

Love what you've done highway, especially the screenshot. Technically this isn't a planet but to be honest, i believed you've done something better, you've made it like asteroid junkyard however, in the screenshot, i'de love to see the clans fighting during the light of the wormhole gleaming. :D

hello,

Have you planned to modify the system of the conquest, because many clan register just 1 min before the end of inscription to win the gravitons.

wouldn't this be a good idea?
Iron armor alloy-blue
Fusion armor alloy-red
Antimatter armor alloy-Green
Zero-point armor alloy-yellow
Ancient armor alloy-Purple


To be honest though, I think the armor alloys are a bit too expensive you might need to reduce the cost.

What did you think about supporter Turrets or other thinks like that on CQ Planets?

For example:

Spot A there are Healer Turrets ...
Spot B Shock Turrets or whatever ...

Turrets can activate only by Squad Commander and CQ Ship Master

About respawn i dont know

"galaxy news" - more options :

- date/time whet will be HH - all will be happy finaly know when HH on
- Black Friday [ -% sell for all ] Will be great have somthing like that even 1 per month with -10,15,25% for membership,boosts,gold bp,ship bp,gravitons and [ new sugestion ] armors for parsec ships.


You want gives us better and more satisfaction game but still simple,little changes like %sellday or HH info will be good.
Even -10% for memberships per month will be great.

If You realy want changes pvp and gives us more fun,then we need better cq rewards and finaly upgrading clan system like :
- Clan mission : Win CQ on planet [name] to get 1 Clan signet.
- Clan signets will be for upgrading Clan.
Upgrading - 1 to 10lvl [ every lvl gives 1% ]
For upgradinc Clan to 1lvl need 10 Clan Signets [ every lvl 10 signets more to up ]
Uprading will be for all member on clans.
Upgrading system : Armor,Damage on pvp,Damage on npc.
When someone leave clan ofc Bonus will be off till they dont up to other clan.
- rare drop Clan signets on Sirius and TC from enemys.

New planet on TC : PVP
- You can land only on sq,sq can be max 2 people.You need be on sq to up mission for land.When you land sq will off,pirate mode on and players will be land on different planet places.You will have 30sec to prepare till start pvp area battle.
-Mission will be different and have system names withs system lvl.That mean you can choice with ship you will battle and what will be they max lvl item [ same idea like sm missions]
- massive pvp : You can take pvp missions with 10people on sq [ yes 5 per side ]
All rules same like with 2person sq.
Battle will be in not big map but on big area when you need win for get better rewards.
When you pod you dont lost cryo and energy to rescue.Items not be use enegry.
You cant use boost or gravi.Side with more kills win.Battle will be finish after 15min.
When time off everyone go to orbit and wait for refresh stats.
- Rewards & Stats :
Will be ok i think day,week,month statistic solo person and side persons with who you win/lose battle.
-50% less points when you lose.10 point - 1 pod
- max pvp mode on this planet for person in day : 5 times.More pvp can be start on day. [ 5 for 2sq mode and 5 for massive pvp mode ]
- Rewards day,week,month will be depends of you lvl,ship and item lvl use and how many time win.
- +10% more rewards for ppl who dont have 80lvl acc
- This map will be on jump gate in all system available to jump. [ Yup map will be on tc system,ppl low lvl,dont done mission will be se TC system but only can fly to PVP planet. Its great for newbie who dont know abaut TC or even dont see more like Vega,Antares or Gemini.Will finaly see old players,they ships,and beautiful TC hangar,planet dessing.
- Rewards : well here i dont gives any sugestion its up to You.

There is this achievement called Draconis squadron however, I did this mission with a squad CALLED "UNKNOWN LIFEFORMS" except I didn't get the achievement. This is the only mission that apparently I haven't done in a Draconis squad. I've done it with the squad except it won't give me the achievement.

Can be a bit challenging unfortunately but we've all done it. Trust me, you'll get over this mission though it is a pain. Took me more than 100 attempts to get past it when I was in mizar.

Instead of Tau ceti armor why did you decide to call it "Ancient Armor"? I'm quite interested to know why. :D

It would be great if you could aim with your mouse, this may make the pvp system more interesting, forcing the pilots to hold the mouse over the enemy to shoot them...

I think the cryo chance should be increased because i just calculated that cryo (without penalty) chance is at least 30% or lower. :( It really isn't fair for those who have done a lot of effort with the grinding and makes only about 10k cryo an hour.

Agree, If you guys gonna make TC Ships I expect them to be over 2 million to build just 1 completely from scratch, 10k cryo of grinding for an hour is really bad, and i hope you guys increase the cryo drop rate or Quantity per Cryo Cristal

To be honest, when the TC ships come out, Tau ceti episode 2 will be over and episode 3 will come. (More likely) which means no harvester mission to get cryo.

To be honest, 10k/hour is the cryonite i can do on Prosperous without boosters, without membership, without drones in a full-golds Gemini ship, fueling with the blueprints, ont the lowest harvesters of the planet (at middle-left spot).
