Nice 2 post from dev on 1 day, thats more like it. I can understand its time consuming to follow all these posts but its essential to inform us on short base whats going on. Thank you for replying, hope u have some nice vacations and return with fresh excitement to work on this beautiful game.

Are you focusing on 1 update, or are you working on all updates at once? --> Do you work on armor upgrade only atm or do you make progress on TC and the other adjustments aswell?

End of August seems so far away , gues we try to keep eachother bussy ingame atm to endure another couple months whitout any update. Atleast bad news is better than no news at all...

The game states are huge and take hours to import them on the PTR server and we only can choose one server to serve as a copy. So switching the states back and forth is not an option, sorry.

The development is focused on one update at the time, with is currently on the Armor upgrade. But our designers have an eye on the highlevel design of all the update scope for Tau Ceti to keep then close to the desires of the community. We might send out a survey soon to selected user groups to find out more about the wishes and play stiles from the PG players, to ensure that the planned concepts are going in the right direction.

I think the best way is we create a new pilot on PTR and we appear with lvl 85, 10 millions of cryonite and all bps for give to all the opportunity for test it successfully.

1 - Will are we able to convert or sell methanoïd armor on the classic draconis ship to deluvium armor for conquests and Arkon ; like vega ships ?
2 - After buying the new tau-ceti armor on the ultimate ship, what happened to the items ? the Sirius items will stay in the Sirius config, or in the tau-ceti config ? Must we repurchase all the sirius items in the tau-ceti config an other time ?

1. No this is not planned, we also plan to remove this for the Vega ships after the update.
2. When you purchase a new configuration you need to refit it with all the items and armor. Buying an armor will upgrade the armor on the configuration that you have currently active. So the items will stay there. You will be able to test this on the Testserver.

All draconis ships with methanoïd amor can't be converted to deluvian armor ?!
So all cryonite we have spent for these draconis ships goes in the trash...
Because we don't need these ships for sirius.
I hope there is a solution for this

Hello, I'm glad to see that you are talking more with us,players.
As for the upcoming update ,Armor Adjustements, is it really needed to give protos an ancient armor before the Tau Ceti armor upgrade? I personally see it as a waste of cryo,unless you upgrade even ancient ships armor since they were (and some are) our most loyal ships for years, I wouldnt like to see them become weaker then protos for sirius system use.
Maybe it's better to have only the TC armor upgrade for protos when TC is out?

You can load PTR from http://ptr.pirategalaxy.com

This test server (called Terminus) is usually a carbon copy of Askone, but sometimes can be from another server.
If you have an Askone pilot, you can play with it on test server, usually with a lot of gold. Changes are not saved on your original pilot, and everything is erased on test server after the testing is over. If you do not have an Askone pilot, then you still can play creating a new pilot on test server (starting from lvl 1, but still with lot of gold).

As you can see on the page showed, the PTR can be played only with the special launcher. The stand-alone client and other sites launchers are not used. Usually the PTR runs for a few hours, then it is shutdown until a new public testing is required.

Ist das ein Scherz? So ziemlich jeder 85er darf sich dann seine Draco Schiffe komplett neubauen bis auf den mickrigen Grundpreis.
Zur Fairness sollte man den Verkaufspreis von Draco Schiffen ein paar Tage lang nach dem Release auf 100% setzten. Ansonsten ist das für mich einfach nur ein besch... Downgrade.

Ich zahle doch keine Tausenden an Kryonit damit ich am Ende ein schlechteres Schiff als vorher erhalte nur damit ich bei Missionen usw. helfen kann.

The scorpion needs to be make a parsec class ship, but with at least storm armor which is 100 instead of it's 84. It's a hybrid but doesn't have the 25% bonus? When is dev shack 4 coming out? It's july first.

Non prototype and non raven hybrids doesnt have general armor bonus. Their armor value is unique and based on gear: depend on offensive/defensive items carried. The 25% bonus is for ships with "rare" status. That doesn't seem to be the case of Scorpion. It is weaker than storm but has aim scrambler and bomb, so it is a ship special for grinding harvs... (storm's perfo and thermo are not usefull for that task)
