Regarding instant heals: Do you have that feature planned for Tau Ceti ships? There is sustained damage (Blasters, Attack Droids, Thermoblasts, to a certain point also Sniper Blasters and Rockets) and sustained heal (every existing heal aka Repair Droid, Target Repair, Repair field, Repair turret) und burst damage (Aggrobomb, Sticky Bomb, Mines, Orbital Strike), but no burst heal. There are burst shields, but there is no burst heal.
Green gravis count?

I didn't have the same experience, and as Gotilon states, it seems to be something that only happens to a few players, maybe just bad luck. I got all ships, all drones and a lot of gravis in three days, with only a few empty stashes (using 3 full charged drones, after getting the 2 parts of fenix it is easy to maintain them charged, and disabling all drones when traveling far away or shooting things to save energy).

Anyway, the drop rate seems not to be the same. Locust and RDA drones are easy, then you get Disruptor and Hunter. HyAn and AR1 drone are the most difficult. Also it seems that changing the drone when bad luck in a row also changes the rate, but this could be only a personal experience. Good luck, happy hunting.

HGus and GOTILON, you are quite lucky people fortunately for you both.
Most people in my server did have the same problem as I had.
Infact when they got rid of deluvian armor, the Christmas ghosts are killing us easy especially with their rockets.

Not only that but we have an even bigger problem, because the Devs reduced our armors, we die super quick by the snowmen.

Register times etc not adjusted in the upcoming update. Conquest is only indirectly changed by general adjustments in the pvp mechanics.

1. Sure it will be fully used when tau ceti will be released. We will not have episodic content anymore so it will be very similar to a traditional star system where all planets are completely used.

2. I only can say that we have plans for them :)

3. Better equipped players are always stronger. But the difference to weaker equiped player will not be that high in PVP. So a very skilled and tactical player would be able to stand a chance against a stronger player and even beat him.

Yes I can totally understand that point. But with the release of Tau Ceti, it would even make it harder for new players to find help in the lower systems. Since they would all be playing in the Tau Ceti system. With the pvp update we have mechanics planned that can address this before we launch Tau Ceti.

about the landing protection, are you sure we'll properly need it because while landing for me, i didn't have that much problems.
The biggest problem i had was combat automatically playing as soon as i landing with my squad.
Was there anything worse than that in the past?

Quite often in Conquest or Colossus thoses that hadn't landed on the planet since their last (re)installation of PG's client can be killed while they are seeing the loading screen. The same thing happens quite often to me on Venar and Sirius with LZ mobs killing me before i can even see the map, but that may be related to my horrific connection. Such a system would be great for me, as long as it isn't OP (i.e. complete neutrality for few minutes would be a too much imo).

Now i remember, happened to me a few times, was quite annoying, at least they're going to fix that.

About the landing protection:

One cannot be attacked with that of protection, but will one be able to attack other players with that protection?

If it ends at the point where one can use the ship techs, I see no problem.
If it ends after a certain amount of time and one cannot attack with it, I also see no problem.
If it should end after a ceratin amountn of time, but one can attack with it, then, even if the protection is removed when one attacks, the moment of surprise just changes sides, because then the one who lands can attack before someone else can react to it.

I totally agree with you, but I think that different interpretations of Highway's words are possible, therefore I wanted to bring this to his attention.

The landing protection is introduced to prevent that players that are not yet in control of their ship getting attacked, from npc and from other players.

The protection is currently working like this: A player that lands on the landing zone will get the protection activated. Landing on the squad leader will not enable the protection. While the protection is active the player can not be attacked by any player or npc. The protection timer will get automatically deactivated after some seconds or when the protected player uses any skill or item (collector, afterburner, blaster,.. gravitons)

This can give the protected player a slight advantage since he can initiate the first attack, but this should balance out the advantage that Landing zone camping players had before this will be introduced.

When you said it won't activate when you're landing to your squad leader, isn't that still risky because back when I entered sirius, I was grinding boss units however, the loading screen was in my face for too long and I got podded because I just landed in the middle of the battlefield.

As Highway said, it is mostly usefull to avoid LZ camping. I think that F5 should be excluded from "deactivation" cause still some players with sniper blasters have a chance to instant shoot when the protection goes off. Risky landing on squad leader is part of the game mechanics, carefull planning is required.

After the update of "Player controlled Invasions" is there going to be more Dev shacks (like what is happening now) going to be talking about future updates as an introduction before releasing Lagrange singularity?
The real question is will there still be more Dev shacks after you've done all the updates?

On the lower planets, when we are doing missions. It wasn't the best idea to make a level tech limit because I was trying to help a friend out with some story missions in Teresa and I couldn't because the maximum tech for it is only iron tempest tech, because my tech was "too High" I couldn't help him with the missions.

For "Unwelcome guest":

It costs less than 10k to build a Terasa-only config for any Antares ship. Better ships are rare shock (cause of extra armor and stun) and storm (firepower needed to kill the juggernaut fast). A tank is usefull too. The mission cannot be done solo anymore. Even it is very difficult in 2-squad (you will kill the juggernaut almost at the end of the path, risky task). Doable in 3-squad, or a 2-squad with outside escort for cleaning the path. Very easy with 4 or full squad.

Other missions do not need additional help.

There's also a problem when I use the kenyte afterburner on my sirius ship. The kenyte afterburner is very weak on the sirius ships and I move too slow. I've noticed that on many occasions.
However on other systems I use top tech afterburner and it works perfectly fine. The kenyte afterburner is very weak.

HI there all, happy new year 2017 with out Tau ceti :(.

this pvp dev shack open on 26 oct 2016 more then 2 month and still no news about corresponding upgrade, so maybe in 4 more month we got this upgrade.

At this speed we will soon reach 2018 with out Tau Ceti. this is just a projection taking in account actual speed. case can be worst if they use more time in Dino storm as they normally did much time before.

I am very sad they left this great game so unattended and died slowly.

Highway did say this might be the last post about the PvP update this year but what I'm thinking you'll be surprised.
The update in my estimation is more likely to be around January 2017. Not only they're working on this update, but they are working on the other updates, it's proven because they showed us one of the Tau Ceti ships.
They're working on ALL the updates at once except they will be released at a certain order. However, in my opinion, I think the PvP update is just around the corner. :)

You're closer than you think, after this update, there is only one more update to go then Tau Ceti is there. I estimate that Tau Ceti is more likely to be released in June/July 2017.
