Ich hätte eine Frage:

könnte man es zumindest möglich machen das man mit den Tau Ceti Schiffen im 1-4 Ring landen kann allerdings keine Missionen fliegen darf?

PS. Es sei denn man hat noch Pläne noch mit dem 1-4 Ring was die Bps angeht für TC :mrorange: :mrorange:

Yes we are on it together with some other fixes :) . If tests run smoothly we release it next week.

Time to post some honest critic review, (yes i know its long)

Lets start out with some compliments, things i like about this update are:
  • Scanning bps to see how many parts you have... best of all! (simple and effective)
  • Venar is not an easy planete on wich you can fly around with 1 finger in ur nose
  • New bps to collect and new hard missions
  • Some activity in pg again
  • New soundtrack
  • Fixing the functionality of rep droid, rep field and rep turret on low lvl armor. But downside leaving rep target and protector/shield out this (BUGG)

Things i dont like about this update:
  • All the requirements and restrictins you put in the game
    - Its called PIRATE galaxy, not RESTRICTION galaxy. Might consider changing name though. Pirates dont follow restrictions. And this game become from already being grindy, to the biggest grind game from the whole world. You should focus on creating fun and not creating as much restrictions as possible
  • The bp dependency mechanism (all part of ur secret slow down plan?).
    - I cannot think of any reason besides slowing ppl down as much as possible why you would implement sush thing. Forcing ppl to get all rares in the game, and holding ppl back who have not spend enough time in sirius. What is worse, players being pushed to sirius/venar to join in with the fun everyone is having, or demanding from new players they spend 5 years hunting all bps in the game before they can go to venar?? Where everyone clearly is having fun as clearly shown in the global chat. Endgame gameplay is what must keep your playerbase interested in this game! If you set the bar to high for new players they are more likely to quit before they reach Venar. All these restrictions are not any good!!

    U dont hear much negative feedback from old players cos they nearly got everything, but i cant imagine being a new player.

    U force us all in being bp collectors. There are different ppl playing this game, some like to collect all the bps for achievements and others are picky and only take what they need. You force all of us to be collectors, creating a big unbalance. We never had to get previous system tech to install any tech on our ships, why do this radical change now? U need time? We still dont need previous system blue's for all systems besides Venar, why do it to venar then? And this gold bp dependency is out of this world. If i only want to fly a shock in draco and want to equip golds i need to hunt them in the systems before draco aswell???? why do i need them for draco.... The only thing i would find logic is that you need rares before you can install ancients from the same system. (and that would still mean we need to get all golds but in a less obstuctive way)
  • Not being able to take venar items to sirius (another slowing down players feature?).
    - I've seen ur reasons behind this, but i cant say i agree. If draco players enter sirius and try to fight for effort with a full sirius equiped ship they nearly dont get any bps or cry either. We know that and we help players that come from draco by taking them in our squad. The community helps eachother. If you would allow Tau Ceti ships to enter sirius that would not change, it only makes things a bit faster and less tedious. You should not put focus on sirius gameplay but on Venar gameplay. Venar should be the place where player come daily to shoot and have fun, not forcing us to keep shooting days and days with sirius ships. We have been doing that for the last 5 years already, some fresh venar ships can only make sirius interesting again. Teamplay will still be key to flying in sirius since u need to do Clanmissions in r1-r4 and u cant do them alone. And besides why is there a reduction panalty, for you to allow us to take higher lvl ships to lower lvl systems... if that makes us only get 1 bp each giza trust me we be flying sirius ships in notime again.
  • The actual purpose of part 1
    Part one has only one goal, that is to collect all the bps wich you will need for decrypting the next part. 3 ships are nice but we cannot do much with them besides hunting bps on venar, once we got those its over with "fun". Its not like you gonna shoot mantis for fun on venar. Maybe some ppl might find joy in white missions for a while, but after that nothing
  • Limiting ppl to get warscore when shooting mantis under a sertain lvl below you
    - I don't get the gain of putting this limitation, but then again not much of a loss eighter. But i'd say spend ur time on more gamechanging features

Conclusion, you found an effective way to slow us down for a couple of years, you found an effective way for new players to "enjoy" the game for many years. Please add fun content and not restrictions.

Other things i dont like:
  • You completely ignored the topic we made about graviton usage in pvp
  • You keep ignoring the whole feedback topic
  • The way pvp is being neglected
  • The lack of fun activity's
  • The implementation of unnecessary features that only affect us negatively, stop wasting time on them

Maybe try to sneak in some content that creates fun without us knowing, that would be great. Again whole feedback topic filled with ideas.

Alright that was my truth, what is yours?

Another improvement was missing from the changelog (sorry for that):

IMPROVEMENTS

•You can no longer gain Warscore from shooting enemies that are 15 or more levels below your highest current equipment level (ship and items).

Not only that but now u only get kill counts 8 lvls below your ships lvl (regadless of your tec lvls), so if you are in sol 60 ship u get kill counts from lvl 53 and up ( this used to be 12 lvls).
But why have kill count restrictions at all i never under stood, kill is a kill regardless of your lvl .

It most certainly does get on my nerves when i notice the devs completely ignore topics that are trying to get them to listen an maybe reflect a bit on it. But what gets more on my nerves is that they read the forum because it says they are browsing it meaning they DO read it. But they just leave it blank which just isn't a kind thing to do for the community.

You think a small team can answer to any sentence from the whole community + doing their work with new content/bugfixes. Pls stay in reality and dont drift off into space. ;)

There aren't that many things that are asked in the forum so it shouldn't take that long for the devs to answer the questions overall. But you're not entirely wrong because obviously not every single question in a forum should be answered in the forum. :sneaky:

But I and many many people highly recommend the devs to try and focus on increasing their team so they can be able to work on three games without a problem. It may not be easy but try and find a way, because i'm worried with a team this small, both games might not get this far. But if the team gets larger, then there will be much more hope. A team with around 6 people working on 3 games must be hard work just to keep the game running. :eek: If you try and increase your team then it will make it a lot easier for the community and mostly all of you.

I don't know the guy, i've searched that name, and the only thing that i was able to find was a really old blog.
Still, i agree, i really like that 80's synth vibes.

The achievement for all Venar storys in a squad includes "Prized catch" which is a solo only mission you cant complete in a squad
Please fix :LOL:

Protector has differnt amounts of HP on ppl their ships with the same armor equiped. Seems like a bugg. And sirius repair droid, repair field and repair turret heals a vega ship 100% in 1 second, but the rep target and shields/protector do not apply that same logic. Could u straighten this out aswell? All heals/shields should work as rep droid, rep field and repturret.

In the mission "Unit:Response" everytime you kill an enemy the mission tasks says "%2 defenders left"

also with every mission progress the client starts lagging even more, at the end of the mission unit:response the lags were horrible
please take a look at that, ty

what we also noticed: orbital strikes damage the enemys before the actual explosion, and sometimes they dont even do damage to the enemys

And what is up with chasing mine explosion, before u changed the visuals you could visually see that there were mine blasts chasing you half across the map. Now the visuals are changed and we no longer see that the detonation chases us but it does apply damage.

And is this a feature for mantis only, or can we players have those chasing mine detonation/damage aswell?

You said there will also be 2 rares ships in the part 4 update, will there be more tau ceti ships released between part 1 and part 4 because i have noticed when showing us pictures over the years, i think (correct me if i'm wrong) i have overall seen 6 tau ceti ships but you said there will be 5.

Now OS deals dmg like 0,1-0,2s before it explode, check it pls ;)
