Since Highway reacted to the topic about unbalance between PVP/PVE talking about Sirius mission spam, Bolosse and me decided to try to run the mission on 3 differents Sirius r4 planets to raise more awarness about where is the real unbalance... And here are the result:
First Planet:
21024 First Exploration
31232 Search Of Samples
46484 Local Population
56736 Explore Crasjed Sho
70028 Gain Respect
885010 Dangerous Radiation
100655 Unstable Geology
116990 Betrayal

Second Planet:
151700 First Exploration
163952 Local Population
178244 Destroy Ennemy
194579 Ennemies Spotted
206831 Search for Sampled
221123 Escort Extractor
237458 Space Pirates
255834 Ressource war

Third Planet:
266042 First Exploration
278294 Local Population
292586 Destroy Ennemy
308921 Defend the Area
322501 S-O Weaponry
339549 Search for Samples

The values are the total amount of the entire session at the end of each mission, so the last value is the total of the ENTIRE session.
I also need to highlight that we made bosses between planets 1 and 2...

So it already make us laugh that PVE-only players complain about balancing when actually the most OP way to farm the 1st place is to spam Sirius r4 (probably r1-4, we didn't try other rings because there was no r3 in range) since you can do it all the time as long there is new planet (spoiler: there is a lot of new planet), you can simply annihilate the ladder by farming it all the week without even leaving Sirius...

Do we need to talk about chance to being attacked by other players on a random Sirius planet that is not r5? And it's non-existent, so in the first place where is the risk to turn on pirate mode on planet with no-risk, and second concern... why it reward so much then, classic white mission reward like 1k-2k...

Wasn't the system supposed to force player to diversify their gameplay?

I hope that just as they complained about an OTB giving 3 million ws, they'll do the same with this

I think it's the opposite. Now that they score points, full PvP players want everything to be easy and effortless. Just look at my last post. Now, what @Alinoe seems to be complaining about, apart from whining because he probably doesn't spend even 30 minutes on PvE like many of his class, it's because maybe on his server there are some 24/7 freaks who EXIST IN ALL GAMES and it's hard to compete with those people. Accept it, they'll never be eliminated. They don't do it in any game. It's absurd to penalise people just because they have all their free time and devote it to a game. It doesn't make sense. Only they, perhaps through pure PvE, can be at the top. but it's impossible for someone normal. You can't penalise everyone and throw everything off balance because of a few freaks, like in the first score update. That was completely crazy.
PvP+PvE players will always be at the top, followed by PvP-only players, although I don't like that you can be at the top with just 45 minutes a day and little else, but hey... Normal or regular PvE players are out of the top. What more do they want?
The developers' idea was to get players to be PvP+PvE, and they've succeeded. Those players will always win, and it's just a matter of how much time they put in, as in any game.

Now, regarding your main complaint about the missions in Sirius, three planets with just over 300,000 WS, but you have to spend an hour or more on each planet, depending on the missions. A conquest lasts 45 minutes, and if you win, you get that same score or a minimum of 130,000 WS for the free conquests. Now, in private conquests, pilots don't earn as many individual WS; most of it is clan WS, which I think is perfect, because otherwise those without free conquests would have no chance.
That said, where is the huge imbalance they complain about? A relatively good balance has been achieved, unlike the first one, which PvP players loved because they only had to log in for 45 minutes a day to get everything.

1. In Sirius, the planets are not always close to each other.

2. Doing ring missions is complicated because of the previous point, and you have to spend a lot of time on them.

3. You cannot repeat the same missions on a planet; you are penalised the second time you try, I know because I have tried it.

4. IMPORTANT: HAVING MANY SKULLS IS NOW VERY DISADVANTAGEOUS, IT GREATLY REDUCES THE WS. Those who have 10 or more notice it too much compared to those who have none or very few.

5. Sooner or later, you will end up getting skulls. It is designed this way so that we all get them, since those who get them return to the last division, making way for the others.

Oh yes doing the same mission on every single planet in one week of Sirius is fun... You wanna do it until the end of the game? If you want to force yourself to explore the full Sirius all the week just for top 1, it's your problem...

We made about 110k per planet by doing all avaliale mission... Do you know how many new planet you have every week? Hmmmm yes a lot...

@Alinoe seems to be complaining about, apart from whining because he probably doesn't spend even 30 minutes on PvE like many of his class
No Alinoe play a lot of PVE because he still need a lot of blueprint, cryo and is there to every conquest and Collossus, you don't know Alinoe so maybe shut up with this displayed false superiority...

And also I was on the top since I'm a PVE-PVP player...
And we almost lose to a PVE only player because of that unbalance, that's the problem...

1. In Sirius, the planets are not always close to each other.
You have one week to do all of these...

2. Doing ring missions is complicated because of the previous point, and you have to spend a lot of time on them.
Again you have one week to do it... You're not limited to one time per day and one time per week...

3. You cannot repeat the same missions on a planet; you are penalised the second time you try, I know because I have tried it.
The penalty is about 50%, now look at the result, you will see on some mission doing it twice can still be worth it...
Each planet count as new mission even if you did it previously...

5. Sooner or later, you will end up getting skulls. It is designed this way so that we all get them, since those who get them return to the last division, making way for the others.
Oh I got mine... Me and I would say that I love being forced to go Sirius for warscore because even if I participate to all cq and Collossus and I farm a lot of PVE because I still need blueprint and cryo, someone that only do PVE was able to compete with us and he stole us the place a lot of time this week...

That's not the final score, but this guy Vulkan was farming r4 again and again while doing no PVP activity, and almost beat us... The only reason he lost is because we did the same thing than him...

When you play the game normally, farming blueprint, cryo, killing anihilating the life itself arround Sentry and participating to PVP battles, so having a diversified gameplay like the system want you to do and then a player is able to catch you while doing the same activity again and again... You know there is an issue somewhere...

And no these planet shouldn't reward anything because theres almost no risk of being attacked on Pirate mode... But don't worry he made the mistake of leaving Sirius to farm blueprint, we took care of him...

Like I said before, PVE and PVP scoring shouldn't be grouped on the same ladder on the first place, it's gonna be a nightmare to balance it...

That's not the final score,
IIRC, the final score was about :
- 1.6mln for me
- 1.5mln for Alinoe
- 1.1mln for vulkan
And the rest i don't really remember but they were all bellow 1mln. On Kalgan we also had only 3 OTBs that week, so in the end the vast majority of our points came from sentry farming and r4 missions.

Also like mentionned before regular white mission give 1k-2k + score for bp and kill...
And there is a higher risk for encounter by other PVP player outside of Sirius...

So the logic you're defending is "more risk == less reward"?

@Alinoe In summary, your complaint is about a 24/7 geek or something similar. I already explained that situation in a previous reply, or did you skip it? Because an ordinary PVE player is nowhere near competing in the rankings, and yet they want to make it even worse xD How funny they are. I feel sorry for your server; apparently, it's even poorer than mine, and yet they don't have many free conquests.

PS: There's a lot of talk about risk-reward and little about time-reward, something that should also be recognised for the 24/7 players, but not only them, but also those who play normal hours, whether we like it or not; its something reasonable . But if you want, we can turn the game into something that lasts 45 minutes or so and disconect, leave behind the ghost game it was becoming before the update. it seems that the laziest ones also want us to remove all the boosters from the shop, because if we base ourselves solely on PVP, they are not necessary except for new players, although it is more a case of speeding up the arrival of this because the white missions or that some are doing or whatever else you can think of end up being tiring and keeping up the pace is unsustainable, which is natural... In the end, the ghost pirate that you greedy brainless people want so much will arrive... be patient...

No my complain is about PVE and players that do PVE and PVP forced to engage in Sirius boring and useless content to compete with insane warscore gain of Sirius missions... And the regular mission that consist of actually farming usefull thing like blueprint or cryo are just not worth at all...

Risk and reward is the intention when you force Pirate mode. So if a mission allow you to farm insane quantity of ws without taking risk, yey, there is a problem... (And without engaging in any PVP content)

As for PVP, the system aim to push player to go enlist to cq and encourage you to do it to get on the top 1...
And again IT'S ONCE PER DAY AT LIMITED AND DEFINED HOUR while you can farm everytime on PVE... PVE regular mission should indeed receive consequent buff... But not Sirius for all the reasons explained before, it should be nerfed into oblivion...

24/7 geek
The entire system is broken. At the end the penalized players will be the people with life and job, you know job providing money, maybe spent on booster and membership by people that don't have time to play and don't want to lose time to refill energy...

At the end not being able to get what they want will just make them quit.

So the problem lies with your server. There is one player who is out of the ordinary, although I don't think measures should be taken just because of one geeky player who is online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you penalise that player for a practice that is unsustainable for any normal player, it would mean the definitive end of PvE on all servers, if a normal PvE player is already off the map... Fortunately, the current system controls it in such a way that they will get a skull, just like the runner-up, and go back to the beginning, leaving the way clear for the rest. Thanks to the developers, the typical unbeatable skull hoarder no longer exists, and it seems that it is very easy for many to ignore the big picture. If you've seen the ranking image I posted in my thread, there are no geeks, and the top spot is held by someone who plays PvP, PvE, cryo, and plans, with a fairly normal schedule, which will come to an end at some point, but even so, PvP players complain about not being far from their WS, all because they don't want to make the slightest effort to win.
I'm sorry, but you have to put up with those geeks not only in this game, but in all games. Fortunately, in this one there are only two or three at most, and the one on your server is the first I've heard of in the entire Pirate Galaxy. Maybe there are more on Gaia, but I don't see any complaints about anyone like that.

There is also the solution I proposed in response to Jackal: decrease the WS of Sirius missions and increase it by 3, 4 or more in system missions so that the balance is not lost... and for that blessed risk-reward ratio that all the whiners and lazy PVP-only players keep spamming about... even though it makes no sense.

Beside the fact you keep ignoring why we said this have sence, I'm going to repeat it once again... Because who know you will maybe undestand the issue there...

That's the whole purpose of force player to turn on Pirate mode, and you're trying to defend a system that give mission rewarding too much warscore compared to more regular PVE content while allowing you to hide far away from potential encounter with player that should by the obligation of putting Pirate mode ON, be able to attack you and disturb your farm, creating more interraction and reminding you that the ladder is a PVP competition...

There is also the solution I proposed in response to Jackal: decrease the WS of Sirius missions
No, Sirius should get nerfed into oblivion, no risk? No reward then. Simple to undestand...
No one care about your vision of time, you take OTB as example, but as explained before it as no sence because for the 50th time:
> You're supposed to take part of it to compete on ladder,
> It's limited and sheduled on time, once per day,

The other regular PVE content should receive a buff, because reward is low, like really low...
