I want to know if they are thinking about the idea of implementing a trading system and use Sun planets that currently have no use :c

All good, but please keep it in mind that there are some really good and special ancient ships in game and I dont want them outclassed or even worse - being useless in future. Example , no any proto ship can go near Myst in terms of verasatility and no any proto can go near Punisher in terms of DPM(damage per minute) it does.
Or if its already decided that ancient ships should turn into crap :( , then at least think about creating example Puni like(good grinder) or Myst like(all arounder) ships in Tau ceti ? I am sure it is not only me who likes ancient ships and wants them still usefull and strong in game :))

And... U wrote nothing about PvP and about our request of removing speed booster advantage from fight..
Please keep that in mind too.. Skills and tech should win , not pocket :)

Same here, the ancient ships are harder to get than a parsec ship.

Try to compensate that, make something that the player need to archive from Sirius to get into the TC System, remember that TC was originally created to entertain the veterans meanwhile you guys where developing DS, i think that there's no problem in changing the actual TC system access if it is for good.

Also.. maybe the other pilots have different thoughts about this idea.

Despite everything you're going on the good way, but i also would like to read the other dev's thougs too, like your newest member, Flo ,about this updates and about the direction where the game is going.

Thanks for the reply that's fine. You could make them smaller if you want but if you have your own ideas of tc ships i assume it will look better than mine.

Please reply if you think making the Fan Made TC ships smaller is a good idea. :)

1. Yes we have planned to add new skills.
2. & 3. We consider the feedback we get from the community. Check out devshack #2, it had a coarse roadmap of planned updates. All of these updates are based on past Q&A sessions as well from your feedback.
4. Yes we hope that it will be. Many secrets that are not yet uncovered about TC system, mantis etc.
5. Pirat Galaxy players are smart and very into the game when they enjoy it. Look how much response we are getting here and how much creative stuff you can find around the forums and the internet. Written storys in the PG lore, Fan art, Websites with detailed information about all the little details the game has. Even the devs use it to quickly check on values at times :D
To make it short: We totally love the Pirate Galaxy community, with you we have gone through high and lows.

Yes we are totally with you on that. I can not give you details on that now, but we will ensure that the ancient tech is needed to progress in Tau Ceti. But that's a topic for the upcoming dev shack. Same for the PVP stuff.

Ich finde es toll, dass man offensichtlich darum bemüht ist, die Kommunikation zwischen Spielbetreiber und der Community zu bessern. Ich hoffe sehr, dass dies auch langfristig der Fall sein wird und nicht wie zuvor Funkstille herrscht, was besonders in der Vergangenheit mehrmals kritisiert wurde. Dies wollte ich einfach mal mal angemerkt haben. :)

Hi, some questions, it's say: 'including armor price to the sell of the ship with all (with skills)' ?
Because the spanish and portuguese translation say: 'include in the ship price the total price of the ship + the armor'. And in the german translation it was different.
And it is correct, the armor price for sell can be the 100% and not the 50%?

To make it short: We totally love the Pirate Galaxy community, with you we have gone through high and lows.
I presented some suggestions in my Spanish language, I would make sure I have come to the table of any of you.

They are quite long, includes new game systems, story, characters, planets, systems, hybrid technologies and new ships to discover.

I would like to make the effort to translate them into their language and reading them, really are very impressive and they will like.

Hello devs,

Your adjustements are great but hum ..... i'm a very afraid for the 4 basic parsec now.( Anin 1 , Anin 12 ,Anin 10, Anin 3) .
You say that you will adjust armor of raven and the others parsec , it's logic i'm not against this but hum .. what use will be the 4 basic parsec if the other ravens (and other hybrids) are more intresting already ?
The obsidian is more powerful than anin 12 parsec
The black granit has more hp than anin 1 dominator.( and more interesting items for tanking)
The onyx can be better than constructor ( deprend on your point of view on the item resurector).
The fossil is better than anin 10 because this ship have a shield.

I repeat i'm not saying that your are making mistakes or other things but i'm really confused about the future use of the first Anins parsec now.

For Tau Ceti, will you have to hunt for the BPs for the ships or it comes as soon as you get there?

Im glad that you guys didnt let the game die.

Well now that we are talking about ships and balances.... any chance to use skills like repair target or field on your own ship? just like protectors, speed actuators and attack charges. I mean, I like support ships, but they are way to weak if they are not in squads. I would like to use the repair target on myself just like Repogrubs do, or get a little health while using the Reapir field. I know that a Ship with 3 ways to repair itself could be broken but, I think you guys can figure out a way to make it balanced. That could make other hybrids more realible to daily use, like Ghost or Raider (remember there is a broken-OP Ship named Myst)

Lets put the technical stuff aside for a while and.... can we expect another RavenDynamics event in the near future before all these changes to armor? you know for all of us who wasnt prepared before :)

Its not yet set what level the Parsec ship will have with the Tau Ceti armor installed. But it will be at least level 85. As for the achievements, it might be a good idea to put in the armor levels as well.
damit sind nicht alle Fragen beantwortet :D Interessieren würde mich wirklich noch, wie sich Tau Ceti Rüstungen in Bezug auf Missis in Sirius auswirken

No that still not possible with the Sirius Armor installed on the parsec ships. The draconis ships on the other hand will also not be able to participate in draconis CQ, if they have the methanoid armor installed. Because the ship level will raise above the allowed level for Draconis. But for this we introduce the ability to up&downgrade the armor levels on the ships.
Ah that makes everything clear thanks :)

ich gehe mal davon aus, das die TC Rüstung in Sirius nicht einsetzbar ist denn wenn man es so nimmt,
ein Draconis oder Sirius Schiff kannst du in Sol Missionen auch nicht einsetzen unabhänig davon da es eh schon 1-2 Systeme unter den beiden Systemschiffen liegt.


PS: bekomme ich auch auf meinen 1ten Beitrag eine Antwort :LOL:

Great , ill be really happy if ancient ships wont get useless or outclassed , or if you just create new ships with such good abilities as some ancients have , still ia m Myst and Puni fan and i will really miss them if they get useless.

What is with the Ancient Ships ? are new armors planned for them ? and if , what is with Sirius Missions ? can the missions in sirius flight with the new amor ? for ancients and Parsecs ?

Do we are able to fly sirius missions just with Ancient ships and Parsecs without TC Amor or with TC amor ?

Water, die Tau Ceti Rüstung heißt nicht einfach so Tau Ceti Rüstung. sie sind halt für TC gedacht und nicht für Sirius. In Sirius wirst du mit 5. Rüstung keine Missis mehr fliegen können. Selbiges gilt für Dracoschiffe mit 3. Rüstung, die dann für Sirius ausgelegt sind.
Damit geht das Balancing zwischen metaschiffen und Parsecs auf Draconis wieder in Ordnung.
noch was, wir können hier ruhig auch auf deutsch schreiben, es wird trotzdem gelesen und beantwortet :)

At first i'd like to thank you Highway for bringing us the dev shack, despite what some players (me included) though at first about your ability to respect deadlines.

Then i have a few questions about your post:

You've already answered about CQ part, but will Methanoid Armor be allowed for Arkon challenges and Draconis Story Missions, or will Methanoid-armored Draconis ships become Sirius only?
If they're still allowed in SM, that'd leave Draconis Prototypes useful for PvP only, especially with Methanoid Armor's improvements.
