A passing thought whilst in another thread.
It used to be that when you pod another player you'd get one of their BPs, that doesn't happen anymore and we get bounty now instead, but it isn't a very good insentive for people to go red now is it? So how about instead of bounty, why not, every time a player gets podded by another player they drop gravitons instead?
One player podded = A small bounty score equal to their rank times 10 PLUS a graviton IF the tech difference is within system limits. (I shouldn't need to spell out what that means right?)
You could make it to replace the current Graviton system in that Gravitons drop from Mantis to only players dropping them or you can make it to fit with the current drop system.
From players a random Graviton could drop everytime. So you could end up with any graviton from another player but you'd get one every time you podded a player, and from mantis the drops could remain the same as usual, if you chose to go that way.
Of course though, the player wouldn't actually lose a graviton themselves (no whining that way), it would just drop as a result of the player being shot down.
Any graviton dropped by a player during a CQ would go directly into the enemy clans graviton bank.
I'm pritty sure this idea would solve a lot of the problems in game related to PVP, AND probably some of the old arguements too.
