I kind of think that was his point. Even a top geared Vega pilot is going to have a tough time defeating a top geared Antares pilot. Its the nature of the beast. A point that was brought up, about correct system tech to complete missions. Why not have something like that carry over into PvP in a system. Even in CQ you need to use system tech for that system.
A lot of games have level limitations for regular PvP so the "big boys" can't grief the lower level players. I think a fair balance here would be +/- 1 system tech to the system to least give all players a fighting chance. What may be fun for some is not fun for others.
As time goes on, I can see this becoming a bigger issue as more players get to higher systems, and as more people do try out this game, as it stands now, this can quickly turn into how U O was at one point. Even though you have to go red to PvP, new players who really want to do the "red" accomplishments will have a very difficult if not near impossible chance of doing so when high level players are camping Vega to pod low tech players. Which in turn will make new players leave, and by word of mouth, will keep many new possible players wanting to even try the game.
I know I havent been here from the start, and from what I have read, things have been going downhill, but I enjoy this game. I have even gone red myself, just so I can go after another red guy who kept following me around just to ninja cryo and bps from me.
I'm sure Devs won't confirm or deny this, because they probably like the drama, but I don't think the intent of PvP was for level 75 players to sit around and blast any level 10 they come across in Vega that is red.
Just my 2 cents.. Flame on..
