I have updated the HP ranking list with the most recent ships and i've also refined it so HP values are way more accurate than before I hope its helpful for you all

If you have any question or something that you think its not correct, let me know here on through PM's.

HP Ranking has been updated including the newest ship on the game (RDX-12 Hornfels)

PS: HP values of hornfels might be super slightly different from reality as the last digits were hard to calculate due to the number of ships with very similar HP's (Thunderbird, Obsidian, Poenari)

Well well well, i see the numbers and while they are super far of from reality i can recognize the consistency there, so the ranking is not totally off, but would need to make a list see for myself, just for fun.

EDIT: yep checked with an own list and there is just about 2 or 3 ships that not even move much around just switch places by one position. so pretty accurate when it comes to the relative compare.

PS: Numbers were just a standarized value to make it easy to see rather than an actual literal number

Would be much easier i guess to actually give us the numbers in game then try to rely on a list of standarized values (nothing against the work Fission has done to make this list) but would also not require with every new ship or change that may come to request an update for this list + the currently unknown future of PG if the story will continue at some point and how it will continue with the Mantis Story being concluded... as again when a major threat did go another threat may appear and was lurking in the darkness waiting for his time to strike to fill the power vacum.

So chances are still there that at some point PG may continue with the story and this in return brings new ships as well.

But who am i to request just a thing

And this brings us back to good old "show us actual numbers rather then assuming calculation points that always can change with updates and armr/item changes"... my 2 cents about this endless theme hehe.

According to October 17 update the relative values for parsec ships should be multiplied by a 25/24 factor.
Assuming it includes Mutilator, Emperor, Disruptor, Locust and Hunter, the new list will be:

These indexes are relative. So it is relatable to any armor as far as their are compared at same level. That means they are still valid for R99 Adv. TC armor when compared to TC ships with R99 Deluvian armor

Maybe @Redthorne or @Fission can complete the missing ships. The later using his GM powers or the former from his work at HHG.

Also also this list only considers the HP of each ship while ignoring everything else.

I think if you would start to try and include the possible survivability of the ships the ranking would shift as well due the config of the ships make them more resistent to incomming damage. I mean alone Hornfels can in theory survive way damage then other ships simply due of the inverter while Lava can take more hits due of the cloud what could make him superior to Domi who has only shield and scram.

But this is then the nitpicky part of such lists^^

Updated values have been determined and shipped to V1, they should be updated on the HHG soon enough

Also, did you know that both n3 and n9 got a pretty big HP buff (with a corresponding speed nerf) ?

I need some proper info since I have bought the Humpback back in 2019 and now I see it has the lowest HP in these lists, so I came to the conclusion it was badly invested cry and I regret it very much. I who never sold a ship am even thinking of selling it. I don't want to loose cry anymore on that ship. I need help and advices of what to do.

Hi @Starchaser ,
each shipclass fulfills a different purpose and some are niche picks and the Humpback is a supporter.
He might have lower HP, but his role in a squad is not tanking damage forever ( he can do it shortly with damage inverter tho).
Instead his role is to place an Attack Field Turret for the squadron to boost the damage dealt, stun strong enemies like the Sentry on Erebos or Berserker & Runner. With damage inverter he can also clear a minefield when running first and squadron can catchup after him, the higher movement speed (compared to neon NOT RDX) makes this strategy easier.
Humpback is as a SOLO player not the best choice, but if you are carefully 1v1 the mantis, definitely playable.
Humpback is a TEAMPLAYER (I use him against Sentries in a Squad of 4 or 5 people).
Are there better Ships? YES!
Does it matter to your preferred gameplay? NO!
It's always your choice how you want to play/which ship class you choose.
If your hope was to grind with the Humpback and you never want to use him for his niche combat situations, you should sell him and instead use Paragneiss, Harpy Eagle, Obsidian, Thunderbird or Disruptor to grind.
If you want to grind harvesters on Vénar these should all work greatly.
I do recommend solo grind in Sirius 5th ring, Earth in Unrest and Calon more.
If you play with boosters Erebos works aswell, but better with a squadron of 2 or 3.

That is until you throw the story mission "Undercover Job" into the mix as it is the only Story mission that forces you to use the Humpback and is also a solo mission iirc that takes a good amount of time (at least 15 mins+) what makes it kinda a "hate ship" as it was a forced purchase for a ship a player may never use anyways. Even when you started the mission did go to Hangar and then switch the ship the mission fails instandly.

Combine it with the "You are not allowed to pod" rule and you have the perfect mix for a ship no one ever wants to play again^^.

I still remember that i tried to not invest more cryo then needed for the sake of finishing the mission as OC is a must considering where you have to go through.

Hey Vesperion old friend, thank you for your input, I rly didn't remember I do have to use that ship on my next sm, so indeed I need to keep it and also equip it omg what a deception, I thought I would grind the Thunderbird and build that one up but heck it isn't that easy.
You also know me from the old school and that I play solo a lot, therefor Humpback with that much less HP than others will not work for me on a longer pace. Okay I got to do what I got to do. Argh!
Btw Vesperion, I don't remember, but was the Humpback a reward from the mission and free, or did we had to buy it?
I was chk on Hitrchikers but there is nothing about it.
