HP Ranking of Tau Ceti Ships

Hello Community,

After many tests i decided to follow the initiative that Shiyru started in the French forum two years ago. Where he made some calculations of the ships HP in his version of Sirius.

Since that post was created, Tau Ceti and many ships have been released. So it's the time to have an updated list of our beloved ships

All ships on the list have been calculated in their Tau Ceti Part 3 version - thermograde armor for ne0n, and Tau Ceti armor for 43 (list will be updated with update releases):

Calculation:

The HP of all ships are calculated based in the ship with most HP in the game, the Blazing lava, we will give it 10.000 HP. By applying a thermoblaster to the ships and doing a cross calculation we can get the HP of all the ships. The formula is:

ShipLife = 10000 x ThermoDamageDominator / ThermoDamageToShipX

In numbers this could translate to: 10000 x 20/25 = 8.000

As much as i like this update it would be much easier if the Devs would decide to give us an actual HP Bar that shows real numbers what would other calculations much more simple.

The %-Indicators are nice and all but leave to much room for speculations how many HP a ship "really" has and i think at this point still the Devs only know the real numbers of each ship in the game.

They could keep the %-indicators cus they are a part of the HUD but i would like to see an aditional Bar that shows the real numbers (maybe even with lines to show the 25% steps as well)

Here is a small and easy example how such a thing could be implemtend (might not be the best quality but it should be fine enough the link is basicly the same pic just larger)

From the whole HUD i would only add those lines above the chat (had to lay just something over it for the text) so that not really a change would occur here and we just have this "real" information about the HP instead of those vague %-indicators that not really tell us how much dmg we have taken/dealt to an enemy.

Well game is old,but will be nice have information how many hp armor give,actual hp on ships,ship speed,blaster damage and max critical,items reload and active time,enemy hp,show actual damage deal to enemy,show actual damage what enemy deal to you,hp you attack drone,hp on protector/shield and other items.

Why ppl need all the time test what have what like this game was on beta test ?
+10 years and we dont have basic information on game.

But more funny is that junger project dino storm have this whole information in game.

But these number are worrying me .. how a bullfrog and a black slate with damage items can have more hps than a granit with only one damage item ( which dps is low)?

How a poenari as the same resistance as an obsidian which has 2x firepower than a shock (or more)?
Why disruptor does not have same hp as obsidian ?

I know you don't have answers , but for me this has NO SENS at all. It's just giving advantage to some ships and force you to abandon the others.

These numbers are not made for having fair pvp ...

I'd like to understand how this balance works.

Hello pilot,

Remember speed is also an important stat low HP ships have high speed.

And in many situations this reduction of speed hurts a lot (normally slow ships will take more hits from enemies or dont escape them)

Thanks to the HP that disruptor (for example) haves its able to shoot from long range with SB and dont be caught. A lot of something is not always good, balanced is normally better.

An inmobile rock is not useful

Compare the speed of any of the ships at the top of the list with the hunter

This is relative "hard" nowadays Fis cus some pilots have boosters, some have drones and some have the alloy that gives a little boost as well (even if it´s just 3% it sums up over time).

The only way to "meassure" the speed of each ship is flying it in a straight direction side by side but then again it would require that all pilots have no boosters/alloys active. Acording to my knowledge those boosts should not be active during PvP but i can´t confirm or deny it cus i don´t fly PvP.

I can only repeat myself that things would be much easier to compare if we would get actual stats for the ships/items in the Hangar with actual numbers that give us an summarized overview of the actuall HP, dmg/item, bonus from active Drones/Boosters/Alloy, etc.

I mean PG is all about the "future" but an simple stat overview is way to much technology and advanced for us... no wonder the Mantis/Ancients could beat us so easily lol.

It was already said somewhere in the forums by devs that they tried to give less numbers as possible to simplify and dont make the game overwhelming for new players. Obviously veterans would prefer more stats. But thats like other games where having a big amount of numbers difficult players to understand the mechanics.

About speed boosters or alloy, they dont work on PvP and its pretty easy to measure ships speed aswell.

Bizarre how the black slate has the most armour out of the raven ship despite being small and not so chunky as the black granite or paragneiss

Despite it´s look it really is sturdy what is kinda ironic. Let´s hope for the moment that Split not gets the idea to nerf it into ground cus from i have heared and read some ships did lost their status of "beeing good" cus armors and stuff have been changed a lot.

This is one of the main issues if you only get vague informations to make it "more simple" for the playerbase as Fission mentioned.

@Fission Can you add Blazing Lava tests?

Blazin Lava uses the same armor as the Dominator. Both Ships have 10.000HP. The RDX Black Slate has 9523 HP. Non-Parsec Ships for example ne0n Kodiaq uses the exact armor as the RDX Paragneiss 7692HP.

+ Here are some Armor/HP ranking that i tested with two other pilots. Some tests may not be up-to-date and the correctness can only be confirmed by the developers as we know they like to change something. Everything should be up to date till to the 10th Ship Anln Parsec Storm.

Blazin Lava uses the same armor as the Dominator.

Even if i don´t have a Domi as comparision but conisdering how freaking slow the flight speed of the Blaze is i can belive that it is on par with the Domi.

Even if i don´t know if it is totaly true (cus at the end it surely is some number the devs did slap on each ship) but the flight speed of a ship "shows its armor" due of heavier armored ships flying slower then other ships even if they have optically more thrusters. Nowadays however it is hard to compare the flight speed of ships if you have pilots that use next to the speed drone an Speed booster as well.
