Most of the content for TC4 is done already and currently we are finetweaking and balancing so that if feels good when it is released. Testing is a big factor. Missions are quite long and iterating on them takes time.

Other than that the reactor challenge is worked on to offer something fresh to that game mode on how you need to approach it. It will also get a dedicated soundtrack :)

Speaking about the soundtracks. They are in the final adjustments phase as well and you will get a complete set of new tracks for the TC4 part . Loving the tracks so far and we plan to offer them seperatly if you like to listen to them while not playing PG.

I expect that the release window might be around June/July depeding on how well the tests are going and the final touches are coming along. Stay tuned a bit more until you can hands on enjoy the last part of Tau Ceti. :coffee:

So eager may i know june/july which year please.

just like for part 2 🙂 these mission adjustments.. i remember the story "worse to come" it was a never ending lovestory between orbital strikes and ancients

I remember when they added kalon and I don't know, it was mission 3 or 4 where you had to escort the mobs to lz and it was messed up that when they got there the mission was aborted and I don't know what I did, I flew by myself towards the land zone I got to the place where 2 ds are flying by lz and the mission was completed then it was fixed XD

I remember when they added kalon and I don't know, it was mission 3 or 4 where you had to escort the mobs to lz and it was messed up that when they got there the mission was aborted and I don't know what I did, I flew by myself towards the land zone I got to the place where 2 ds are flying by lz and the mission was completed then it was fixed XD
yes i remember that one 😆 you know what was funny? doing "shared power" solo with the tc dominator.. or in squad.. i did recorded when we were in the landing zone and the mission didnt completes.. so messed up it was.. but after 1 min we made it😆 .. jumping around with slates to not getting killed by the mantis agent and swarm xD today we did the mission again but we killed the mantis swarm and safely get into landing zone🙂😇

I only say to this that it is noticable that a lot of the TC Missions require the usage of Gravs already to even have a chance of passing them due of the ludicrous insta fail conditions that mostly just require you to pod or leave the mission area and even in Squad a single player is enough to fail a mission due of the mentioned fail conditions.

I honestly hope that the will not go overboard with TC4 missions with requirement of grav usage and insta fails if it really will only give 8 story missions that maybe take 30-60 mins each round and you fail naerly the end due of some mistake that leads to pod or the leave of the area.

dont forget how strong the emp was and quartz too. all other ships were stronger especially the parsec storm. i remember also how strong the paragneiss was with sirius armor. ancient armor was great but slowly the tau ceti armor was kinda weak.

calon has adjustments too, e.g the hathor are now nearly everywhere. you notice it when you do the last missions. some units positions are changed.

i was never a fan of downgrade. downgrade the sirius items. downgrade the ancient armor. sirius armor same price as the ancient armor after its release(to this time the ancient armor wasnt available.) and upgrade the sirius units from 79 to 82. sure it was a preparation for tc but is downgrade the best way? i we ever had a chance, i would compare sirius thermoblast r79 against sirius thermoblast 82 and against vénar techs. the same in a changed name or level. i m not a fan of it. i bet that the symbolic techs in r85 are the old sirius ancient techs and now we have the weaker r79 version of it. yeah we are using r85 sirius techs in vénar, how cool is that? i had already enough when the ne0n ships were r85 and parsec/ancient ships downgraded from r85 to r82

Great job, tc will finally be complete. Still can't ignore the fact a delay more than half a year after being told it would get released last year that was a disaster. Almost 8 years it took for the updates in plan from early 2016 to go on and still got 2 more after this. Really going to need to start thinking about reorganising the team and sorting it out if it stays like this nothing will go smooth and the games will continue to go downhill steel legions is good example. 4 months of the teaser (which was meant to hint tc4 was close) ain't something to be proud of. It means you need to find a way with the team so much as to recruiting new members to avoid such a massive delay and massive gap if the 4 month that trailer was released. Especially when you weren't giving us info on it the past few months when you saw people worried. I hope this gets taken well and you understand.

i really agree here and i am dissapointed with part 4 and with its trailer. too much spoiler too much was shown. the other parts were recorded very well for the hype. after 8 years we are waiting for something that will hit all walls.

1. showing rare blaster
2. showing rare ne0n's and his abilities
3. one ne0n ship is missing probably reject
4. calling the system "unknown mantis system" after so many years dont feel right. we truly get really into the storyline because it feels like were going backward to mantis and not further to ancients as what i've saw so far
5. too much was showed in the trailer even the battle with the queen.
6. ancient storyline will be rushed as it should not
7. bobcat
8. bullfrog and panther. taunt and perforator
9. ancient and parsec ships are not the perfect thing for vénar beginning. you need atleast rdx ships or directly ne0ns

1. storyline from part 1 to part 3 was really good
2. some player told in the forum about the "ancient starsystem" in the devshack and now we have truly the ancient stargate
3. humpback, thunderbird and hawkmoth
4. thumbs up for the ancient hq on calon
5. thumbs up for research for relaystations in every starsystem


how they could managed that they created v.a.g.m.d.s so quick and one single starsystem took so long that too much players left? sure tau ceti ist not an single starsystem maybe it is a ripped starsystem into two pieces. i really like the story and the whole build up. last days i read every single blueprint and before draconis or sirius was even created some of the sol blueprints shows hints of ancients. the build up began here and its impressive.

Well it seems to be again a bigger shot but with some extra anmiation like the Sol Rare that had this kinda swirling trail what i liked most on it. Sure it is again a big ball of energy but still different to the other gold blasters
2. showing rare ne0n's and his abilities
3. one ne0n ship is missing probably reject
If i remeber it correctly it was planed to give 2 rares and they will have the tc items installed but so far unknown in the setup so there maybe was no need of another basic ne0n or they decided to make it a rare ship at a later point
4. calling the system "unknown mantis system"
Well 2 options here:
Either they decided to really call it "unknown Mantis System" or they have a name but don´t want to reveal it until TC4 really drops (what is hopefully after Spaceball)

Well it was no more big secret that a fight against the Queen will come but what still is unknown if Vam Doom will play a major role in the story of TC4 as again he is in prision since the Sol Story conclused and there where so far no attempts from the Mantis to rescue him... even during the time they had the Ancients on their side so there is still room for smal surprises

Can´t say much about Parsecs as i had only Puni when i played again and redesigned TC was released but it is noticable that they went into the direction to have either an RDX ship or have a ne0n to do the stories properly.

For me a gripe is the part from Venar where you are forced to have a certain ne0n to even play the mission what was so far to my memory never the case that a mission required a certain ship (Siri Missions excluded)

Again maybe it is just me but at some points i kinda lost the story and felt more confused as the story seems to be... "strange" at some points without making much sense... but then again "mission wipe after completing a mission" + tons of useless mission updates without any info make it hard to follow the story as i tend to "read the story after it is done" as mostly during the mission there is not that much time to read it

From all ne0n´s definetly the most used ones for reasons and here and there aso a wolfhound who is at least decent enough to be used.

I think the main reason here is that the seize of devs did reduce over time as i remember that in early times the dev team was 2 or 3 times as strong as it is now and less devs = longer time to bring new contend out in combination with trying to manage 2(3) games at the same time so resources are constandly switched between those.

However it was noticable that for each new system it took more and more time as the time inbetween each system nearly doubled each time the previous was released.

oops i forgot about wolfhound 😳😆 wolfhound.. i love this ship. its my favorit so far for support

I wonder why these neon signs are there anyway, almost no one flies them, these ships can't do any missions, they have such items that you don't even want to buy them, I don't mean that all of them have been replaced by rdx they could add a new company that would have new ships or parse ships, because I read once that after completing tc there will be parse ships with items from tc.

I think a reason for this is that with the implementation of more and more RDX ships that have TC tech in it that they start to replace the ne0n´s more and more. Basically the only players who may need to go for ne0n´s (aside from the Humpback) are new players who may not have access to those RDX ships atm until Christmas event comes again.

Another factor is of course the ability to farm cryos in Siri and since the implementation of OTB where with decend runs you need only 2-4 days to have the cryo for 1 Parsec/RDX ship hull if OTB is somewhat like your "daily activity". In combination with cryo farming a Parsec/RDX ship from hull to max tc is a matter of at least a week at max where in compare to early times a Parsec/RDX was a challenge and could take weeks to complete so why go for ne0n´s when you can simply use Parsec/RDX ships that have already more HP and even a better item setup in most cases to make them more viable to use.
