Okay,
I took a little look over the new C.O.C. 2.0 and have a little opinion to offer. The section regarding clan-jumping for CQ's does not seem to properly address the topic. The rule does not allow clan-jumping for CQ's at all. This is not fair to the smaller clans, nor conducive to the alliance environment.
Clan-jumping between clans within the same alliance should be allowed. On numerous occaissions in the past we have allowed allied players to jump into our clan so that they may fly our CQ Ship, and/or sent one of our players into an allied clan to fly their CQ Ship. Many of the smaller clans will not be able to easily afford buying a CQ Ship and may not have the opportunity to fly one unless allowed to fly an allied clans CQ Ship. Often smaller clans within the alliance sign up for a CQ and due to not enough of their members available to fly their CQ Ship, they ask an allied player to jump into their clan to fly their ship for the CQ.
Come to think of it, why be in an alliance if you cannot share resources? I'm not talking about half the clan jumping from one clan to the next, or jumping from alliance to alliance. I am talking about using the resources within the alliance to benefit the alliance during a CQ. Such a rule negatively impacts the use of an alliance system. An alliance in game is similar to an alliance in real life. You do not think our military moves allied personnel around as necessary to benefit their alliance? Of course they do! And, regardless of the player move into the other allied clan, the player would still be an elligible to participate in the CQ.
Now, in regards to clan-jumping between alliances; that's just plain cheating. If you want to double your forces just before a CQ and use the players from an adversary alliance to increase your player count for a CQ and then retrurn them to their original alliance subsequent to the CQ, you should consider yourself suffering a lack of ethics. Players from adversary alliance clans jumping into another adversary alliance clan is simply wrong. I think I need to pay more attention to who I have the pleasure of playing against during CQ's from now on.
Now, I have one other problem with the way this rule sets out. On numerous occaissions we have considered kicking one of our allied clans rform the alliance and filling it with a handful of players from the other allied clans so that we could do a little trianing PVP activity. On numerous occaissions when the alliance does not have an adversary scheduled for a CQ, we may still want to play the CQ. Granted it would be difficult to kick the other clan quickly enough to get through the CQ registration process properly, but we enjoy our CQ battles, and if the rest of the alliances cant muster themselves to participate in the game, we should be allowed to play the game without them. As a matter of fact, I believe any CQ that an alliance does not have a registered enemy, the registered alliance should be allowed to bring their own to play against. But, this option not available until the registration period expired. Frankly, it stinks putting together an alliance that wants to play, but doesn't get to play because the other alliances don't want to play.
Therfore, I request this ruling be modified to the extent that it allows those of us that want to play all the features of the game, without having to depend on other alliances and not subjected to unethical conduct by other alliaces, be permitted.
Thank You,
