Ich frag mich ja ernsthaft ob da irgendwann noch mal nen update erscheint ...

der Dev Shack bezüglich Tau ceti ist von oktober also schon ein halbes jahr alt ...

Tau ceti wird bald veröffentlicht, aber wir haben keine Daten oder Informationen.
Wir wissen nur, dass Entwickler daran arbeiten.

I don't mean to be negative but...
I doubt Tau ceti will be released anytime soon if it keeps going on like this. 4 parts being released yet it has been half a year and we aren't even close to the first Part being released.

Well, if you're tester that's easy for you to say since you have the chance to observe and test the shiney new things. It's no fun for us people who can Do nothing but wait and wait.

When we done that and this we will release 1st part and start working on ....

Even that "little" info abaut progress will be better like silence and telling use patience patience

Hello,

I was wondering about that BP dependency system if some changes are made/planned after it was first showed to us?
Since the way it was showed to us it looked abit overkill in a way Sirius BPs are needed to install next tiers of TC BPs, and suggested like this idea: https://forum.pirategalaxy.com/viewtopic.php?f=522&t=40998&start=170

Other thing I also still wonder is what flyfighter mentioned some pages back, but I think you (Highway) understood it wrong :

What will happen when we find Engineer blueprints but don't have the additional armor yet. Items will still work like sirius items on sirius ships. I think this armor dependency is not good for engineer.

The dependency system that will be introduced will only be for blueprints. The ship armors are not part of it. Blueprints found in TC will be Tau Ceti items (higher level) even without armor applied to them.

What he ment is that if you install higher lvl items on your lower lvl ship (like Sirius items on Draconis ship) your Sirius items will just have the strenght of Draconis like lvl.
The same problem we are seeing when TC Part 1 is released, when we install TC items on our Sirius armored ships (lvl 85), we wonder if those TC items are debuffed then or not?

Because if they are debuffed that means some worse use of TC items in some classes like the Engineer which can be a problem.

Do you really believe it's going to get released in may after the little information we are given, well don't keep your hopes up, they're are going to delay it to june/july, maybe even september, that's what i have the feeling of. If not, then the developers can have a round of applause since they finally release a solid update.

I think it was equal in the past updates. Nothing new's until the official announcement.
I keep my hopes up to enjoy TC in the next month. But, I would like to see Highway or any SS Dev answering the next question: We can expect TC to get released in May?

Maybe they aren't answering because they know they won't be able to release it in the beginning of may. I'm not saying that's true but i'm just saying that's possible. I'm sure you can keep your hopes up but i have been keeping mine since 2013 so that's 5 years till now. I'v had my hopes up now they are gone.

I has waiting +5 years to see TC. So, I don't have problem to wait another 2 - 3 weeks to enjoy it if I know they are going to launch TC throw 10 ~ 23 of May. But if Highway doesn't say us "guys, May is the month when we go to implement the new TC" or "it will be available on June / July", we only can speculate about what's happening, generating more off-topic comments because the major questions about TC was answered and we are on time to enjoy it.

tau ceti will be released when it's ready, making sure it's fully working and without bugs, if it's released too soon and without proper testing it would not be good if you can't complete missions/father bp's if they bug out.

I myself would rather wait until it's fully tested and all bugs gone rather than it be rushed and bugs still present

what I said tau ceti will come out in October or November, which is when the big updates have been made but what year? That is the big question.

The devil on my shoulder says: Why are you still playing this game, quit it. Its not wurf waiting, and after TC the game will be dead anyways. Why spend another year waiting for updates. And why even post stuff on forum, they don't respond on it anyways. They don't even do small "improving on life" updates.

The devil on my shoulder says: why should anything take 5 years to come out! And when it will we be done with it within 2 weeks. And next month is may, how much time is there left for this update??

Take ur time to develop a nice update, but can you announce how things are going timewise?

• Is the testgroup already testing major parts of the Tau Ceti content?
• If so how is the bugg smashing going? "cough" I'm an expect bugsmasher, look my name "cough"
• Will we see small improvements to aready existing content, or will vega - sirius stay like this forever?
• Did any of the topics on the feedback section grab ur attention?
• How is the bp dependency mechanism going to function after the recent feedback given by us?

If it delays, i wouldn't get annoyed however what really gets under my skin is how many of us would appreciate it if the devs would keep us updated a little more often, but it looks to me as if you are going to stick to what you are doing and brush off the constructive criticism part of the community mentions e.g. "If you don't want offtopic stuff then keep us up to date more often" If i'm right, then that's a stubborn move to do but i hope im wrong. And what i mean by wrong is that you reply a couple of days after this last reply so far in the dev shack. Its literally that simple just a little bit of time to keep the community up to date.

We need understand that They update all time Dino Storm [ last 20 march] and if someone see on fb PG have 100k+ like but DS 400k+ so better money better and more update.
So what that they say us to all power will be center on PG if still working on DS.
So what that they say will be 1st part on TC 1st quartel 2018 if DS need updates.
Now we know will be done,when will be.Maybe will be when DS no need next update XD [2020]

I dont care what is wrote if they do what they want.
All who read this forum remember that they say we done DS and all power will be now focused on PG
But if someone look on news DS will be know everything and why here so long need wait for any new update.

In this year,like other year we get only 100% ensure and 0% act.

I'm not sure whether you are right on that one but it makes sense. TC was originally scheduled in the beginning of May, if yes then that would mean we will have some news or maybe even the update being released. But wait! yet again absolute silence in the month where tc is planned to be released. This is something i wasn't expecting in the beginning of may and i am sure the community wasn't expecting absolute silence in the beginning of may. Just be honest, should we just wait another month, i can tell you are not ready for the release.

There I said that the release will be delayed a few weeks. We currently in the testing phase while we are fixing issues and adjusting based on the contributed feedback.
So when the update is solid we hope to release it soon. (May-June)
