So Called Network Issues

same here dave worked last night can just about get on the forum.
wasted my cash renewing my ultimate membership just before the problems started,
dont think ill be ever spending any cash on this game again.

All issue like this need a Ticket to support so they can be better dealt with. Support will not answer in Forum.

Normally Issues like this are Internet related not always Server related. I have said many times before you do not have Direct connections to the Game Servers but do have multiple hops that can cause issues

Yeah its probatly not the server, i have problems to visit german websites aswell, is the server in germany? And its defently the London Area, had a chat with other pilots from other parts of the UK yesterday, they dont have any issues. Will contact service team.

Update: Cant inform service team, cause impossible to open site. Maybe you let them now Astraeus, thanks.

Omg this isnt good come on SS its not the uk thats under attack its your uk servers .....

I have searched the web to find out about this so called attack on uk networks cant find nothing seems like SS is the only guys that know about this lmao ........

A specific Internet attack in a Local are a may cause strane results in other areas. Also DNS (Domain Name Service) as well as routers & Switches along the way also play big parts in connectivity. If it was a Stand Alone Splitscreen Issue, more players would be affected

If you know how to setup your Computers Network connection, try putting the following address into your secondary DNS Slot - 2.2.2.4 - This is a generic DNS address that almost never fails. Also this was posted as soon as I heard about Issues & started looking into them: Network Issues in UK

I have to say this is rather annoying sitting here trying to work this problem out and a way around it is doing my head in and I'm not even suffering myself from it. though I did get it for all of 10 Min the other night when I come on lost connection to game and then could not connect to the update server so no log in but pushed on with it and I got back through to the game and have not had a problem since.

after talking with Sniper-King I read the post's here and have been looking up DNS since to try to help Sniper-King get past this problem and from what i can gather if you just give these's guys the direct route to your site that will solve them not being able to get on the game IF it really is the problem your saying it is

I seem to be uneffected, Mostly but DDoS means distributed denial-of-service so it makes sence why most ppl can't get on and i think other games would be affected aswell

Currently there is Internet Issues causing some UK users to not be able to connect to PG. Splitscreen is aware of this & is currently trying to find a work-around. Please be Patient. Again, This is an Internet Issue & not a PG Issue

Contacted my internet provider and they no nothing about a DOS attack. Also i have no problem with any sites but SS ones.

I can't get on PG nor any game that SS is running (steel legions), i think the problem is most definitely with SS and not a DOS attack. I will phone my internet provider again! to see.

Will we get a refund for the days lost on our membership and boosters?

reinstall the client, and delete java?

Today there was a Switch/Router Issue that was affecting some players connections to PG. This was not a PG related Issue however we were affected by it, especially UK Players
