Sinned the answer is yes.
Epicenter tested it.

Have you heard about new rumor? There is a planet in Sirius that have a Gold mine, and there is also a planet that has Gravitron mine. They are forcing innocent humans to do labor, but when you free them in a mission, you can keep the mine. Now, me and my buddy drink a lot that night, so I cant remember but I think he said something about that there is also a way that jumpship cannot be destroyed. You should believe him, he is a famous galaxy pirate.Defcon said:Nice one, i am happy to donate 10 k in cryo. That is if it gets me anywhere. But it doesn't. I come on the game and ther might be a few players in the same spot. If i am luck i can shoot with a squad. Tehn you shoot 2 hours and find 2 bp's all of us need them or want them. I cannot do anything on my own. So why on earth should i even be willing to pay this cryo or gold or whatever?
It's pointless.
with ancient armor it might be close to 3.4 mill not close to 4 million once, and yes the ancient armor vs meth meta armor, the ancient would win, the meth armor is to weak even a parsec with meth armor would beat a meth meta ship. the higher hp makes the repair droid weaker that means the armor ain't that useful, teehe, total waste of cashThe Rage said:with the new armors for r70 ships what was the point in me getting a parsec? now that the r70 ships have methanoid armor the r70 storm is just as strong if not stronger than the methanoid armor parsec, yet there methanoid armor cost 98k cryo for r70 and mine cost me 624k cryo, now iv got to spend another 675k cryo to get the 4th anciant armor thats close to 4 million cryo, i give up with this game, cos with no story line in sirius all this game now is is one massive boring grind
I don't see the point of your reply at all, you have just given us a lecture of how you have made the game work, a disgusting system which makes me think of DO (judging by the rapid speed at which you close topics, because of ´´flaming´´ and also removing all constructive posts, it seems like you want to follow the DO way of managing complaints).Astraeus said:Much has been said, Much has been done since the Sirius Release 31.10.2011. There is In-Game News posts that if you read them, will point to lots more Information on Sirius.
In my minds eye, I see Sirius as very Interesting, Intriguing & Challenging System that is designed to give hours upon hours of Exciting game Play.
Astraeus said:Most of you are not grasping the actual concept of Pirate Galaxy or even look at it from a RL Historical Viewpoint. Back in the early Ages, Pirates were seamen out looking for a more exciting & profitable way of life. Over time thaey banded together to not only increase their fortunes, but came to understand there was strength in Numbers.
There is absoultely no similarity between real piracy and piracy in PG. If you guys from SS secretly have tried to turn this into a pirate simulator or something, you have failed epicly.

Due to our prowess as Smugglers, We got Drafted into the Colonial Forces to battle the Insurgent Mantis. We Made names for ourselves with the Great Feats of Solo Bravery against this scourge & for Fun we all played against each other also.
Then as we advanced toward the Mantis Stronghold, the Hive, We met hordes of Mantis led by Lords like Fam Doom & Gringroc. We could not fight them alone, so we started Banding together in Squads & Clans to fight these Hordes.
Nope, not anything like that. When i started playing this game i followed a storyline which actually was good and made sense, not this cheesy ´´get introduced to the microtransaction system´´ crap.
Firstly, i find it odd that you try to justify crazy money-sucking gameplay by giving us the base storyline of the game, especially since your storywriting people changed it to your desires as soon as gamigo left. Gravitons aren't a material btw, and they didn't ´´discover´´ it recently, it is a phenomenon that has existed since Terasa itself was built.Astraeus said:Advance to Sirius. Once we finally managed to defeat the Queen Mantis, the Scientists at the Carl Sagan Labs, Discovered from our Efforts. a New Material called Gravitons. One day while experimenting with these Gravs as we call them, a Wormhole was opened in Space. The Scientists were intrigued. With the Whole Artifact of the Ancients finally being pieced together, they realized that the Wormhole may be a Gateway to a New System.

We have found out from tests, that the Whole System is in a Major State of Flux, just as our Home System must have been millions of years ago. Since it is in a High state of flux, we do not yet know how to combat it other than to once again band together as Clans, Fly as Squads & attempt to Explore the Strange New Worlds of Sirius[/color]
Now You as Pilots, are the Explorers, the Adventurers, the Ones that will Reap the Fame & Glory & go down in History with Tales for those that come after You.
