Well well, what a surprise, my opinion on this whole thing seems to be shared by let's say > 90% of the active players??

And the only thing you don't see me whining about is > GOLD !!

I don't care ATT ALL what you charge. As long as there is a reasonable PRICE to QUALITY.

You deliver CRAP so i not pay nothing no more.

I and those 90% other players WANT :

- solo-able mantis
- better drop rate
- te be able to reach the planets where the thing drop u need to build a proper ship
- bloody bugs fixed in some updates

Get it?

Then we go back to the charging money part. And i will be happy to pay for it.

Bye,

Hello,

Next to my personal disappointment I would like to bring under your attention some arguments I picked up from players.

The players I spoke to are mainly adults that spend I lot off money on this game.

The down-side(s) off only the squad-based playing :

You need a proper squad or even more players to do anything in this system at the moment. To achieve anything you want a squad off people you can work with. Those players or not online the same time all the time. it proves to be hard to find a squad off players you want to do things with. Simply because the (paying) player also has a job and needs to work to earn the money to put in this game. Some work shifts. that means on a lot off occasions you will not be able to play this game at all in Sirius. Even paying won't help, because you simply cannot master the mantis alone.

Squad based is fine. But now, i want a squad with players with strong ships and membership and a BP booster. All off them. because the BP booster is not working when only one in squad has it. Especially problematic because the drop rate is so low and the amount off parts you need is so big.

A lot off the players i refer to now come online and want to do just some stuff for their selves. like grind for a gold BP, or do a white mission or grind for cryo. A pass time for relaxing. That is not enjoyable in this system. You cannot do anything bye yourself.

When you log on, and there is no or only a few players on the specific planet you are. It is impossible to get anything done. Even if you would like to shoot for those few BP's that you can find on that specific planet. Just think it through, with that many planets, even when this system is kept as it is, the players will get spread out over like 10 or 15 planets. Since you can only jump to the planets that are explored, you might not even be able to jump to the planet where your friends from other clans are.

Conclusion : Squad based play or missions is ok, but their should be things you can do alone. there should be mantis you can shoot by yourself, just so also solo players can enjoy this game on the maybe odd times they get on here.

The downside of the Jumpship system:

I spoke to a guy in raidcall that plays with his wife and son. They did loads off stuff together in the past. They pay a lot off money in this game. Their son is in a different clan. They cannot reach the planet he is on now. So, what now to do? Wait for the jumpship to go to the right planet? Hey bye that time the planet might have collapsed.

For myself, I have some friends in other clans. I like playing with them occasionally. They are on a different planet now. No way to get there. I find myself floating in orbit, going nowhere.

The jumpship is a very expensive floating hangar. Somehow the clan needs to cough up loads off cryo, gravitons and quarks to keep this alive. Some clans, maybe even our own, have not the grinding power to keep this alive. What happens when it vaporizes and there is no new ship? A whole clan can't reach Sirius no more.

Another thing to consider: What happens if the admiral just decides to stop playing? The whole clan is wiped out, including jumpship and funds. The whole lot. What do we have to do then? Find another clan?

Conclusion: The jumpship system is bad and may even prove to be a dangerous bottleneck for many players (or splitscreen for that matters) . You can get into a clan that might prove to be a dead end when an admiral stops playing or decides not to pay for a jumpship anymore.

Picking clan members with a membership:

Now, in the new system, you want to be in a group off people that can afford to play with membership and boosters. I already pointed out that I would pick a squad with people that i trust to share the very little loot the mantis drop. And a squad with paying members that have all boosters running. To prevent my own booster going to waste.

In this system i think there will come clans that simply demand membership if u want to take part in action on Sirius. Now I can live with that. I never had a problem with paying for this hobby.
Splitscreen is a company and they have to and should make money. But this new system will discriminate non paying members soon.

Even discriminating is not that much of a problem. But a problem is that at the moment my money gets me nowhere. I cannot get what i need for my ships, it's not on the planet where i am, there is no squad that i can or want to fly with.

Conclusion: This system will drive away non paying players fast and is not delivering for the players that are paying.

These are only a few arguments. You can find a lot more on the German server where the growing list off complaints gives a good idea of the opinion on this new system from die-hard players. i have seen some famous names off people that we all have seen around in this game a long time.

Since the game in Sirius has become next to unplayable for me, i have no other option then to stop going there.

I will wait a little in Draconis doing stuff i still need to do. Hopefully things get sorted.

And if you, Splitscreen and developers, are not gonna change this thing, then please explain to us players / customers why it has to be like this. Just some explanation about what you expect us to do in or with this new system or some hints on how to play this, would be nice and decent.

So far, the only answer i got in public chat from your employee 'Astareus', is that my comments on the new system is only my opinion. Well, go online and check for yourself. I think my opinion is shared by a huge percentage off players. So that answer seemed to me very silly.

Thank you

It is almost impossible to put into words what a HUGE let down this new "Sirius" system is. I cant believe I waited almost a whole year for this.Where do I start? Well first off I will start with the 2 most obvious things in the new system..Money and NO Story line to follow.....

It seems to me that more thought was put into figuring out ways to get people to spend more money in this game than anything else. I had NO Idea that I was going to be charged over 200 gold to jump back to a planet I had already been to.
Whats the point of having membership??? All membership does is make sure I don't run out of E and nothing else. Then we have to buy gold to keep our jump ships alive or risk loosing it and have to buy a new one again.
Then if you don't want to loose cry you need to buy cry protect...it is almost mandatory to have cry protect in this new system because one will be podded many many many times.
The BP drops are a joke as well...your in a SQ with 5 people and finally after killing 4 or more methanoids that took the entire SQ to kill and getting podded god knows how many times doing it 1 BP drops and someone dives on it and takes it only to find out it was just 1 of 24 needed! Get real!

I could go on and on about other things but I want to add the other most obvious thing in the new system...."There is NO story line to follow"...One of the great things about this game was following the story line..it gave a pilot some sense of accomplishment knowing he was defeating the mantis or whatever and moving up in the game..but in the new system there is NOTHING like this at all..it is more like try not to get podded 50 times a day and spend more money if you want to get anywhere..and even then you don't get anywhere.

I really do not know what you all at SS were thinking when you made this system. Like I said before,,,seems to me like more thought was put on ways to make money than anything else and you all spent an entire year doing it .
Sure, the idea of any company is to make money but the way it was done with this new system is really sad.
I know of a lot of players that have totally gave up on this game now because of this and I see a lot more dropping out as well. It also gives new players of the game a grim reward for finally reaching the singularity. All the new system is about is podding and spending money and nothing else....what a let down

Now I'm wondering where the "like"-Button went... I couldnt agree more atm...

I have a question though...
Can I translate it into german and post it on the german forums? I think it catches the biggest problems kinda well...

Given the track record of SS don't expect to much to change .....look what they did to the BP system and how much everyone complained about it and still does....they totally ignored everyone and still do..so sadly, don't expect to much...they could care less (at least there actions prove that anyways)

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get into the game much recently. I took a break for 6 weeks due to a job change. I managed to get on for the Dante "event" for a bit but was unimpressed. Since Sirius has been added I have had log on issues and long load times. From what I have read though I don't think I will bother from the little I have seen.

I remember when Draconis was released I mentioned in forum that solo game players were being discriminated against and was informed that team play was essential in any MMPOG the further you progressed. It would seem that on PG it has reached total team play. What a shame.

I enjoy team play but I also like to play my own game. That is now impossible due to the virtually indestructible mantis (as a solo player). Anyway it all seems rather pointless given the lack of bp drops and the amount you need to complete. A gold charge for travel? That is a travesty.

I have considered continuing in PG by helping lower ranks progress through the game but that is a little unfair as they will, eventually come to the same conclusion as the veteran players.

I can only feel sorry for all the loyal players who have hung around in the (vain) hope that Sirius would bring something new. What a waste grinding all that cry to pay for new ships/bp's etc. I just feel like I have been "had" as the expression goes.

Is it a coincidence that another online space game (fairly new) has just sent me an e-mail advertising freebies for returning players? Or are Gamigo aware of the level of disatisfaction with PG?

I sincerely hope that SS take note but given their previous track record it is unlikely. Boycotting Sirius? Little point. Staging an "orbital sit-in". No point. Posting your views on the forum and hoping for a change. No point.

Continuing to play PG in it's current version. No point.

Hi, im the admiral of The Untouchables on Aeria server. We have like 12 ppl in sirius total, and its very good to be on our little server. Aeria server has always had a very small amount of ppl playing, but i think its have been better the last months... and its funny!

Now to my questions about the Jump Ship in Sirius
Why is it only the Admiral and Captain in the clan that can charge the jump ship with gravitons, and move it to another planet? I would like to suggest that officers could be able to do that to... or if its could be some changes, that the admiral for examle give some officers "jump ship duty"... if u see what i mean?

As its now... its all on 2 persons shoulders to handle that. What do SS want? should me and my captain "work" in shifts to keep the ship up n running?
That doesnt sounds very fun to me... I dont play this game 24 hours at day...

I would like to see a change thx... //Arwen

I coudnt agree with you more and I've been gone for about a month and coming back to this is a total dissapointment, and your not the only one thats getting advertisments for other fairly new games im getting tons of them right now and i don't really think this is a coincidence,

And am i the only one that has seen the game die out more and more this past year after Draconis realease?

And I think is all of us thats been here since 2009 that can see how the game is dying and if its me too or not, but i think theyve changed the game in a way that we arnt used to play with they've made it a different game, Its not the same Pirate Galaxy i started playing

The Rage

the whole 33 planets that come and go is a great idea, it will keep the game fresh and fun, but the whole jump ship thing and forcing people into clans and making methanoids that hard we need 5 to 10 people to kill them is a big mistake. The cost in real money to stay alive in sirius without loosing more cryo than you can keep track of and the facts you need membership as you would run out of energy way before you killed the methanoid your fighting is massive and is way more then any pay to play game i know of. In order for people to want to spend real cash on this game you need to make the game fun and with sirius you have taken all the fun out the game, i would rather you take sirius offline and re make it and i think so would 90% of the other players would too. Please splitscreen if its only this once you ever listen to the community please re make sirus so we can play solo

you know i find this really funny when i look back at it.
almost every1 in the game was tired of waiting on sirus. i found a number of forums that were complaining about it not being out fast enough
yet when it comes out you all complain even more.
i do agree some things in sirus are not the best.
but this is a whole new way to play
think of it this way.

through out pg we have been fighting the mantis race doing our sms and such. and then we mindlessly grind for our items and whatever we need for the game. and their was really no strategy to this game

now theres alout more strategy to the game. you have to think your steps through before you make them.
also i dont get what you guys are complaining about 75k for a jump ship thats 10k from 8 ppl.

Sorry m8 but I think you missed the point..try reading what I wrote again...they have made the new system in to a "pay" system...change is always good in most places and a lot really look forward to it...but in this case it was a total let down for many many players that have been here a long time. But like the rest of us,your entitled to your opinion as well...good luck

Now that there are a lot of planets the few players that still remain are spread out everywhere and it is alomst impossible to meet up to play together unless you are part of that clan. Each of the planets are lonelynow that we have spread out. Mantis drop next to nothing and take ages to kill even with a squad. Cry attained is rarer than rare bps. This surely will be the demise of Sirius as many players will leave or go back to the old systems where you can at least paly with others. I will play on to see where it goes but it seems to have gone down the worm hole.
