[PTR] Feedback on Vega and UI Open Testing

PTR won't let me log into the game, everytime i log on, it's just endless loading

i am loving the new ui and carnt wait till it goes live on all servers

at first its a bit awquard to navigate round as im so used to the current 1 but after a short time it became 2nd nature

After having the same problem godman posted about a few time i finally got into the PTR server and played through the first mission on Vega 1

some notes about the experience:

-whenever i switched zones (planet surface to orbit for example) the Chat was active. this was a slight annoyance for me since i play on a laptop, and primarily use my keyboard for issuing commands.

-the AnIn1300 looks 200 billion times cooler than it did before, good job devs

- the new storyline is more "pirate"ish, which IMHO is a good thing. (at least to the point i got to)

-well, i was more lucky today -the only problems was that i couldn`t close the chat proberly, and after exploring the planets they still apeared like black choals (like unexplored) and clicking set up resulted in a fatal error message that forced me to restart the game, and the new extrashot bug was active on the ptr too. -but all in all, i will probably start to love you guys (developers) again? -how long time is it to wednesday?

Missiong bug:
Component upgrades: cannot abort, cannot proceed: no update on mission, it stops on follow robot's instructions.

Game Bug:
I fly for some time, then freezes for 5 or more secs, then continues again, then after 10 mins same thing happens and so on.

After attack on mantis mouse stop moving, freezes ( works outside game screen) everythin else still owrks i can see my ship and mantises flying ( its not my mouse cz am on laptop, tried usin pad too, didnt work)

-i only had a problem with "component upgrade" because i refused to buy the standard ionblaster and only bought the substandard repairdroid. -but to succed the mission you are forced to buy both blaster and repairdroid:! -i also had the problem, that when you land on a planet you can`t use the arrowkeys right away, you have to leftclick somewhere in the screen before that you can use them.

Yeah (!), everytime i explore a planet then either travel to it or land on the newly explored planet on PTR, endless loading

Mmm, everybody experiencing endless loading, some on surfacing, some on orbiting, but some people don't.

Abit weird, because for me, first time loading is always bigger, takes like 3 mins or 5mins (just for surfaces, rest like 1min, first time only) but here everything loading 1minute, I'm going to get leveled up to see if in starmap it's going to endless load or not.

Bugs:

- Planets look like rocks in starmap

- Reward wasn't given for mission ´´blaster training´´

- When flying the AnIn-1450, only one blaster volley was fired (the ship got 2 blasters)

Story Feedback:

- It's sad that you completely left out the ancients! But i like the pirate-ish style...

- What happened to Rosebud? Earlier, he was the silly pilot with bad luck, now he's just a noob...

Other Feedback:

- Very nice work on the planets and the ships!

ok i hav noticed a couple of mission bugs. for instances on the very first one, in the hanger training. if you go to collect the crystals before clicking on the ship, after destroying the drone, the mission will not continue on, i had to relog and just redid it. but for total beginners it might be somthing they just might quite and not enjoy the great game.

also in the first v4 story mission if you collect the probe before clicking on the npc (forgot name). but if u do that, the exact same thing happens as above although at this stage you can just restart the mission but it would be good to get that fixed. =]

also i was hoping that you could get rid of that nooby thing you call a ship. it is soo annoying so please let us sell it for 0 crystalls as it is totally bad (lol cant sware, but you get the point).

also i hope draconis will hav a better armour for all the ships as that would be better for survival against the though mantis ahead of us.

The new additions are fun . Shame we have to wast cry on buying ships and tech we neather want or will use . its a wast .i look forward to the new Graphics and story line on main servers . i followed SM as far as it was possibel. A thing of legend. there i was stoped by bugs . the Giant Drone has God mode on . it wont die .
but all in all it was good fun and any thing new is better than the same old boring stuff.

so what is PTR? is it a completely new server..or is the main servers gonna get merged with the PTR? I saw on annoucements that it said everyone will start at lvl 1. does this mean we loose our current lvl or what?...im just confused about what the PTR is..

ptr is the server where new stuff for real server gets tested ^^ unfortunately they ptr is same as normal server now becouse it changed back to normal for unknown reason !!!!!!!!!

PTR is PG Test server where we test bugs and new features, and new systems etc. to the game.
It has nothing to do with the main server and doesn't affect your pilot in any way.
It is totally separated.

are there any gms on the ptr as i need help i have found a bugged mission on version 1002164 (the current one). it is on revenge enabler and if you buy the Anln-1450 Armored Transport though the button at the top and then select new ships, then click and buy the ship, the mission will not move on. And if you do this mistake it looks like you have to restart the mission and waste almost 200 cryonite.
