If you go to Pirate galaxy Facebook page, it says the server is under some kind of attack. I was so happy when seen happy hour up, then server went down again

For those of you that dont read the whole thread SS has apologized for this log in issue and obviously they are being attacked and have let us know that they are working around the clock to fix it. They want us to log on just as much as we want to log on, and a little patience would be great from everyone, and pressuring them wont get it done faster. I know things have been a little unstable lately but lets try to relax and let them fix everything k

Well it was working for a min but when i tried to go to orbit from the starmap it got hung up and now i cant log back in... so at least i know that they are working on it and sooner or later they will get a handle on it. I am going to keep trying until i get on

seems not all players having problems..in England a few hrs to log and some who got on and didnt know of problem say lot of lag but Client still does not work for me(east coast USA) and IE9 and Google not working but Firefox works great and no lag ..: )

Yes but not all of us can play our accounts on the online version if we play from client. Unless we want to start over : /

Well it may be Wednesday and server maintenance may be scheduled for today, however, it has been 24hrs since I was able to log-in and actually play. Thats 24hrs of membership, and bp tracker wasted. SS is an internet gaming company. They manage multiple games, and as such they have mutiple sources of income. I am very dissapointed in that the best information about what has been going on has come from other users posting news that has been posted on other websites (ty grofed). Not everybody uses facebook and seeing how this is the "Official PG Forum" I would have expected SS to have posted news or an update here as well. Very dissapointed. Furthermore as an internet gaming company I believe they should have been prepared for such "attacks" from random hackers. In this instance I do not blame the "random hacker(s)" but instead I blame SS for mismanaging their assests. Shame on you SS!

Update on the game's status: First, thank you again for your patience. The motives for the denial-of-service attackers remain unclear, but we've made great progress (Yeah!) in our defense against them and the vast majority of you WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY NOW. We would like to point out again that no user data was compromised during the attacks.

Some of you might still experience longer waiting times at login during the next few hours as the infrastructure needs some time to optimize its defenses. We'll keep you informed here as things progress.

Never ends with this game. No sooner cryonite special comes out lag, hanging pages, and never ending loading to crashed client and now cannot log in? We got a gift for being patient because of DOS attacks and now cannot use because cannot log in. WOW! I really cannot wait for another game preferably not SS or Gamigo to come out and off to it I go. When it gets to the point where you cannot keep a game running throw the towel in SS or hire some GOOD HELP for once!!!!!!!!!!!!!
