It seems beyond meta-breaking that the ship with the most HP is also among the most mobile given the fact it has leap, furthermore why is the ship with the most HP also the one with the highest single target damage? I would be very delighted if the PvP meta in PG is balanced to a higher degree.

Adding more cooldown on the Quantum Leap should be enough in this case, that won't leave the skill useless by any means, but being one the most powerful 1vs1 ship is not even that big of a problem in my opinion.
Some roles will always be powerful in those situations like Brawlers, Burst or CC based ships, and other roles such supports or engineers will always be useless.

In general changing some modules a little bit could improve the game in almost all content and all techs, like this simple list:
1) Moving the repair debuff to the Thermoblast instead of keeping that to the Taunt which already has a powerful effect on its own.
2) Buffing or reworking the Attack Droid entirely to ensure it has a place in the game.
3) Adding a new buff to the Repair Target to remove incoming enemy debuffs temporarily like Scope Shifters using the same mechanic the Protector has against Stuns, of course only during the duration of the skill and without affecting the enemy (keeping the range buff for example).
4) Increasing the Quantum Leap cooldown letting other ships with Afterburner escape in some situations.

But it is true that the game is fairly balanced in Conquests and squadron PvPs nowadays, on the other hand 1vs1 PvP scenarios (Colossus included) are and will be unbalanced due to the nature of it, letting you with only a few options like Marlstone, Cormorant or Griffon to name a few, or the old and beloved Hunter Parsec when there are no Cormorants or Griffons involved.

I do aggree that the griffon feels overwhelmingly strong right now, almost as centralizing as the sable in conquest and awesome everywhere else in PvP.

The taunt rework honestly feels kinda broken, every ship with it is currently viable in conquest. Having a blue tank being far more useful than a fully geared chromium feels wrong, gemini and below are horrible right now with full tank teams (claw for Gemini), and the griffon is too good at taking advantage of it.

If we're taking suggestions in general, Merlinite was probably the first underwhelming release of a ship in a long time, i guess i can throw out a couple of suggestions not that ive thought that much about it so take it with salt.

Attack field turret is bad, too small aoe, my friend always makes fun of it when he sees it on field "Yes use the attack turret so you can give the enemy team a free dome"
Make attack field turret AoE bigger or make the buff linger after u leave the attack field turret for at least like 10 seconds similar to how aggrobeacon stays on enemies even after they leave the beacon range

Speaking of aggrobeacon, it kinda hard to survive using aggrobeacon against griffon taunts and the ships armor is also just mid so the threat of being bursted in general is always there, the beacon isnt even tanky in the first place anyway (the strong one at least) and the cooldown is exceeded only by magnet trap and turrets (and maybe more items but i cant rmbr off my memory)

I also don't agree anymore that beacon's shouldnt be allowed to stack because as i said the strong beacon is not tanky so the enemy team should have no problem killing it, well using a long beacon historically just doesnt seem to work for me , not that you would want to use multiple merlinite in its current state but even if it were a top ship that just adds clunk

anyway yea, take it with salt this was kinda unfocused thoughts from my ONE time of trying it and watching other people try it like FOUR times

also, i agree with nerf griffon everyone is spamming griffon at least in Askone and it is getting out of control, half of the ships landing are griffon vulture

Buff dominator he need more hp ^^
Hell nerf all rdx ships and buff old parsecs by 20% and bring back old hp to ancient ships ^^
Only 4 month to new rdx so be patience maybe will be better than griff and all be fine :ROFLMAO:

If one refuses to do RDX for ships and persists on spamming basic tanks or Dominators in OTBs, of course the griffon will feel OP, you never learn the game properly by spamming low system games in a weak class of ship in Askone's low traffic games...

We get 11v11 on a good day, and most of the time it's barely a 5v5.

Stop deflecting things on a "META" and learn the game's pvp properly...

Spamming Tanks in Vega to Sirius doesn't teach you the game to the fullest extent.

Ahahah, taunt itself is a OP joke since the rework seriously... Have you played Claw in Gemini CQ, it's medic farming simulator, at least it make a bad joke ship into meta?

At least is uselful against Gemi engie spam, but yeah, maybe a little bit to strong...

Tried it 3 times, it went horribly wrong everytime.
I tried defending the concept behind it, I tried to make it work, but there is no saving this ship without major changes.

Agree with all the taunt rant, it's disgustingly strong and the most unfun thing I've ever seen in this game, far worse than even stuns. Nerf please :)

I don't understand how people can spam that ship, I mean, yeah, it's good, but that ship is very easy to ruin, scope shifter, stun charge, stun dome, I don't know what kind of spam simulator they have on Askone, but on Aurora, a team that spams Vultures, a team that loses, the ship needs support, it's not immortal, it doesn't have a shield, it doesn't have a protector, it doesn't have an aim scrambler...

And no, I don't accept a "it's because you haven't had a team full of Vultures against you" literally when the ship was fresh out of the oven and there were 3 consecutive conquests where the other team had all Vultures and I didn't have one, spoiler, I won, not because I'm Faker/T1, it's because that ship isn't the Ancient Myst in 2012-2015 or the Emperor, or the Chromian, but no way

Sounds more like someone's fefes got hurt after getting killed by a griffon. Have you tried CCing it instead of facing it head-on? that usually does the trick
