There is no bonus in Cry drops nor in Bp drops by having PM switched on.
Has never had in this game.
Only one is the xp-bonus you receive if you have bounty on your head, but with 0 bounty, you will not either get any x-tra xp bonus.
I would like an answer based on what actual game developers know, not the common answer from players is: "makes no difference". I don't think players can give an authoritative answers. Especially people using membership/boosters won't see a very small change in drop %, it is totally hidden by the large bonuses they enjoy.
Personally, I perceive more bp/cry drops when red, especially clear when doing harvs. It could be just perception bias though. In any case being in a constant state of danger makes me enjoy the game more .. and stay barely awake when grinding. It gets very annoying when im in a sm helping others, then suddently the random red pop up and pops me in the middle of a sm.
If you feel you drop more with PM on than off, that is your imagination cause it is false.
