Dear Space Pirates,
We are once again at Draconis info update time! Today I will introduce to you the new Pirate Mode 2.0 and bounty system which will be implemented with Draconis update.
Pirate Mode 2.0 and bounty system
Now When clicking on the skull, Pirate Mode is activated instantly with no timer but beware as it can no longer be switched off until you are killed by another pirate!
If you kill another player who is also in pirate mode, you will receive war points based on the damage you inflict on your foe but it is also tallied as bounty. Needless to say, the more pilots you kill, the higher the bounty war points are placed on your head.
The higher the pilots bounty, the higher up in the bounty list he is listed. If a pilot is killed, he is automatically removed form the bounty list and your bounty is reset.
If multiple bounty hunters fight against the same target and wins, the bounty is split amongst the winners depending on effort.
The bounty of will be reset at the end of every week.
Bounty Side Panel Tab
If a pilot is in pirate mode, his name will be displayed in the new bounties tab in the orbit side panel. This tab will also show all pirate moded players along with their bounty and current planet the are on. Only pirates in your current system will be detailed.
Noob killers beware! You now have price on your head! You can run but you can't hide!
