i have this problem to quite often it could be lag related but yes this is definitly a problem that many players have i dont exactly know how to get to the threads so this is the only help i can give for this problem but dont give up this needs to be fixed

Delloda, such a topic like this is a tricky thing. Many people will want to post, but assume it was bad luck and feel uncertain. They don't wanna post if they aren't positive. In addition, half of them don't use the forums as often as some of those here do.
Heck, I'm not even sure I haven't hit the bad luck shooting lottery or something as of a month ago.

I'm relatively certain that they're onto something here. My amount of misses has skyrocketed since my days in Anteres as an Anln Heavy Transport.

Back then, if I missed twice in a row, it was something my buddies could lol about. Nowadays, I can miss four shots in a row with the Gemini Geiger Blaster, and it's considered too common to be worth mentioning in public chat.

I remember chasing down custodian commanders, without missing a shot on the pass by the graviton tower in anteres... over and over and over and over again... Tried it recently, missed enough that instead of killing them in two shots, most of them got away because they got a chance to stun me.
Now I actually have to wonder, "will I miss? D:" Instead of having the reaction, "Eh? I missed. x3"
So if there isn't a difference in the hit-miss ratio of different BP's of weaponry, then I'm pretty sure something's changed since then.

That being said, is the hit-miss mathematical Code posted somewhere on this thread? If so, we might be able to figure out if we aren't just yapping without due cause. ^^
Though, I don't recall missing often in Ant... I really, really don't.

That was me!

I did it on an avenger, with extreme lag on baumar. It was beyond funny. But i did used to have this missing problem mentioned here, but I have not had any problems recently.

Been hearing rants about SSB and other weapons missing a lot so I decided to test this morning. I used all types of sol weapons in all sol planets and found that i hardly missed at all even without aim computer.

No one in the office has aiming problems and my laptop at home is also fine. I've talked to some people in game and some are saying they are missing a lot and some say they are fine. So it doesn't seem to be server-side, therefore it must be local.

I also got the figures and formula in the database checked at it equalled my test findings and I've seen the code too.

Nevertheless, there must be a problems if some people are really missing a lot. Give me some decent info to work with so i can get to the bottom of this! Guys, If you got a missing shots problem post here following my bug reporting thread and add as much if as possible so I can narrow it down and figure out how to solve this.

If you have any technical experience please help me to help others!

Actually I've been having problems WITH the aim computer, sometims my rockets will miss even if I have it on, and I've been fighting rocketeers not avengers with teh aim computers... this has been in the Gemini system since it's just about the only one i've played in fer a while. My main weapon in Gemini is the GGBs and the Fusion shock rockets & I have the Fusion Power Aim Computer. hmmm, I'l tryi clearing out my browsing history and cookies, maybe that will help.

I also noticed that validation takes a little longer when pirate galaxy first starts.

I got over 250 diskspace out of about 449 free.
My connection is fine mostly. Just has the odd spasm and dies occassionally :/
I have 9.0c directX.

they will have lowered the hit % to try get more ppl to buy energy lol, they aint goin to admit it are they, like they didnt admit the sol attack charge was bugged and they dont admit there servers can be hacked, so guys your just banging your head against a brick wall, iv missed 6 shots in a row on a lvl 28 harvister this only started when sol opened it was all ok before then and its not lag and my pc cost 2500 quid so my pc specs aint to blame ether

i dont miss alot but wen i do i miss like 5-9 times in a row i fly a geri storm whith rare blaster (which is arwsome) but i have been having trubble whith my aim pc im having more luck whith hittong whit hmy rockets whith out the ac then whith it on the acracy seems 2 down %20 wen i have the ac on!!

don't have much problems about the blasters (just 1 shot with 3 is a mis hit), but some with aggrobomb.
Normaly, in vega/antares, my aggrobomb is getting all the mantis (except the harvesters) dead in 1 'shot'.
When i have much much mantis coming after me (20), and i put Aggrobomb, it's only getting 3 mantis dead!
Is this the same problem? Or an other?

I've noticed that the accuracy dropped significant about 2 weeks ago. When grinding it was normal to miss 1 or 2 shots on a harvester but now i'm missing 4 and sometimes 5 shots in a row.... Same goes with
Interceptors and other Mantis and it happens a lot! When using other ships i have no problem at all....

U might consider some glasses?? Or less beer ??
