Need info on accuracy of weapons

Been hearing rants about SSB and other weapons missing a lot so I decided to test this morning. I used all types of sol weapons in all sol planets and found that i hardly missed at all even without aim computer.

No one in the office has aiming problems and my laptop at home is also fine. I've talked to some people in game and some are saying they are missing a lot and some say they are fine. So it doesn't seem to be server-side, therefore it must be local.

I also got the figures and formula in the database checked at it equalled my test findings and I've seen the code too.

Nevertheless, there must be a problems if some people are really missing a lot. Give me some decent info to work with so i can get to the bottom of this! Guys, If you got a missing shots problem post here following my bug reporting thread and add as much if as possible so I can narrow it down and figure out how to solve this.

If you have any technical experience please help me to help others!

While I was on the PTR my blaster is Twin Ion Blaster... and out of say, 100 shots used on several different mantis, I missed over 50% of those 100 shots..

Also did you test the Sol Aim Computer? and why the warmup is alot longer then the other items

The only problem i have is with the AM Distortion Blaster. I fly R60 tank so i have no aim computer.
I've noticed that the accuracy dropped significant about 2 weeks ago. When grinding it was normal to miss 1 or 2 shots on a harvester but now i'm missing 4 and sometimes 5 shots in a row.... Same goes with
Interceptors and other Mantis and it happens a lot! When using other ships i have no problem at all....

please also post a medic report on your computer and the type of internet connection and speed. Want to collect as much reports form ppl with accuracy problems as possible to see if i can spot any trends.

It could be lag, Because when ever i lagged or had internet issues i had missed alot of shots.

I use HP Pavilion DV6 2030SD laptop with following specs:
Processor; Amd Athlon 2 Ghz Dual-core M300
Internal memory; 4096 MB DDR-3
Graphics card; Ati Radeon HD 4530 512mb DDR-3
Windows 7 home premium 64-bit
I have 100mb/s internet connection through fibre optic cable. All connected bij cable and not by wireless network. (this caused terrible lag but after switching to cable connection i have had no lag at all!)

I have found that my SSB misses more often in Gemini and vega. It might have something to do with the cycling of the formulas where they move towards a high miss rate and then move towards a high critical hit rate. The same goes for green drops verses bp drops verses nothing drops! There IS a pattern if you farm LONG enough!

i miss loads of shots no matter what mantis or what lvl they are or where they are

Mate you need to update you java version. download it from www.java.com. the one your using is 2 version old its on 1.6.0_20 now!

Mate you need to update you java version. download it from http://www.java.com. the one your using is 2 version old its on 1.6.0_20 now!

oops ^^ thnx for lettin me know, it never came up to me that my java was an old one.

I taught i putted it on auto update so never controlled it myself for Java tho.

just to lettin u know im still having problems (after updatin Java)

Almost evry mantis i try to shoot is missing the first shot, sometimes the 2nd shot too, so i have to shoot 3 times for a mantis that's normally a 1 shot kill.(with AM distortion blaster on X-sniper)

And when I pvp, i miss sometimes too with the sniper blaster. And I dont count my opponents who have aim scrambler.

I think it not technically related to java this problem which is why I can't reproduce it. I need tons more data so i can find trends but ppl are just only monning about it seem to no want to help me solve this. I need imfo from everyone who has this problem:

a medic report
Details of their connection speed and company
How they are connected to the internet
Which city and country they live in.
and any other info that might be pertinent.

for my internet connection i use a wireless internet and the specs about my network card is above.

I live in Belgium, Limburg and my provider is Belgacom skynet favorite.

and i use VDSL boost a software that maximaze ur network card for faster connection.
and before i forget i use the PG client version.

and thats all i can say for now. if u want i can run few test how much pg uses my graphic card memory and others things.

Yes, on Avengers form antares and up aswell as Assassins.

Oh, and i appear to have a slight decrease in accuracy on my Gamma Burst Blasters. Maybe 10-20% Higher...

Glad to see this post. Now I can stop ranting.

This problem started a few weeks ago for me right when I pvp in my first tank vs tank. I missed a lot even when aim scram wasnt being used and I got hit a ton when my aim scram was on. I pvped him like 4-5 times. I dont know how it is affecting the lower systems tech cause I dont use them too much. So for me it has only been sol tech. Blaster and aim scram I am sure of but aggrobomb I'm not sure. I havent used any sol rares yet. Using a 45 tank then and now. Working on 60 tank atm.

The mantis I have been normaly shooting have no aim scram. Avengers I 1 hit and assassins I dont bother with much unless I need a bp from them. Mostly it has been Harvs, inters, pyros, snipers, and imp snipers.

I have been using 2 different computers to play this game and the problem is the same on both. Both computers are different in every what but they are both laptops. One laptop specs are (448 mb ram, Celeron M 420 1.6G process, ATI Radeon xpress 200m series graphics) . Yea I know it's a dinosaur. The other is (3g ram, dual core processor [not sure Ghz since I'm not on it atm], No idea the graphics card but overall a good computer).

Internet for one is wireless and the other if direct.The wireless net I have no idea about cause it's my neighbors XD and the direct is DSL from verison.

This problem I have noticed is completely random so I can't video it unless I video a whole days worth of playing.

My location is Florida, USA atm and I play on Askone server.

As for a medic report thing I have no idea about that.

As for lag being the problem I very much must dissagree with that. Now lag can cause misses as showing no shot but using e. I lag sometimes but most of the time when I am missing I have no lag. My type of missing is real missing where you can see the blaster fire fly past the mantis in a total miss. I would probley have to show this in a video.

This is all the info I can think up atm.
