Changes on obital strike (pvp)

hello is it me again :p

the thermoblaster in systems inferior to sirius has the base damage very close to the orbital strike:

But the orbital strike in pvp is very unbalanced, its damage prevents any pvp in which your opponent has a real chance to win:

And in some ships it is impossible to retaliate the attack, as in the terrorizer, if the player receives critical damage, he loses the fight instantly:

my idea is to lower the damage of the orbital strike in pvp, so that we have a more dynamic pvp

Strong tech has always been good at overpowering repairs. Take sol storm vs str tech obsi to win all obsi has to do is stack os and rocket and blaster in for good measure. Can lead to taking more than 100% damage before rd could even tick a repair if done right.

Or just strap on a strong (or bal long not always reliable) ab and dodge the os...
Fun podding obsi in a sniper cuz their str os missed.

I have a terrorizer on my account, when they throw me a strong one my ship is almost dead, I know the prelude is just a base, but this critical damage in a terrorizer gets to take 80% of my hp, so I'm saying that it is very unbalanced

I relly have to agree. Strong orbital strike is kinda op for pvp now. it deals more than 50% of any ship hp damage.

Of course the strong orbital strike is a heavy damage weapon, but it have to be one.
Why do you think have all ships with Orbital Strike low Armor?
Because that is the penalty of having such a good weapon and it's fair. A good Hunter kills every Obsidian or Disruptor, so is the orbital strike really to strong or you just to weak?

by the name of the item being "strong orbital" I think your question has already been answered, what I mean by this post is that it needs a reduction of damage only in pvp, some ships that also have few hit points, orbital strong, already has its ship destroyed, (I have a terrorizer in my account that already suffered with strong orbital)

If a sniper don't kill you with OS+SB right away the sniper most likely lost the battle against a shock (especially with fenix vs drac sniper.)

Defenders should be a problem for you as well then... str sticky and long mine hurt
i'm not talking only about snipers.... myst and obsidian also have orbital.
