bp drop rate

yawn...base...base...check the meaning...it is the bottom line...so when the server resets...what happens...???...doh...if I...as computer programme number 101...have been programmed to give 1 gold per 99 blue...and after a reset...we start with blue...mmm...where do i step in???...easier if i give gold first then i wait another 99 times...all i can say...gold after restart...it's a fact...check my hangar

Everyone is just guessing from circumstantial evidence. Even the GM's are guessing as they are after all players just like you guys! This kind of info is not usually given out. I've already said more than any other developer would say about their game mechanics.

When people refer to SS they mean the product managers and devs and i speak for the devs so if someone says that SS is lying.. then it is referring to me. I don't lie... well not intentionally anyway! ^^

gm's can guess on their players account as gm's they should give the right info.

iv spoken at great lengh to delloda about many things on this game, and i will say he is upfront and truthful in what he says and will be the first person to hold his hands up if he is wrong on anything or makes a mistake, sometime he does say too much on the workings of this game while tryin to get his point accross. as anyone who knows me im the last person to stick up for splitscreen im always ranting at them but i always give credit where credit is due. as far as production managers go delloda is a great one, iv not ment one other dev on any other mmo that would even tell you anything on a games workings. we all get frustrated at games even more so ones we like alot cos we want it to be perfect, i get pi**ed off that i seem to miss more shots then i hit on players and mantis, iv told delloda about this and thats all i can do, but you can imagen how busy the devs are at the moment i bet there heads dont stop spinning. splitscreen dont have a big work force cos it costs too much and the only way to get a bigger work force is to put prices up and we all know if they did that we would all cry at them, so i will take the lesser of 2 evils and have lower prices on gold and cash items and put up with the bugs till splitscreen can fix them, and before anyone says thats easy for someone that plays for free to say i spend and have spent 1000s of euros on this game

1 question:

if there is no formula or what so ever for droprates how can u sell a bp booster that enhance the chance of a drop x 4?

random : 4 = still random.. it's like deviding 0 no matter how of number u devide it it is still 0

there must be a formula for the drops n not just a heads or tails on a slotmachine type of mechanisme
<it goes head-tails-head-tails in milliseconds n u press a button(choice between head or tails so u have 2 variables more to miss) n then it stops.. so if u pushed heads n it's on heads, u win.
translated into the game that would mean: the options are 3.
1.bp 2.gp 3.nothing <maby a forth* "nothing" to make drops harder>
now there will be switched in milliseconds 1-2-3-1-2-3 n when u give killshot it drops where it's on at that millisecond.>

*with 4 <2 "nothings"> would be more logical coz when u buy a booster they just take 1 "nothing"out of the "random pool"

but that doesnt gaurantee a 4x drop increase..

even randomness gets created by a formula but u cannot devide it by 4 <coz if the chance coz 4 times up the formula has to be devided by 4>

ahh im tripping lol

Sir-vivol: i will make sure from now on that GM on provide info that they are certain about. The workings is more complex than that but i obviously can't tell you more.

Suffice to say that its' possible to predict outcomes from the way that randomness in generated in most games. In another MMORPG that i used to play a lot, I made a +46 sword. You apply enchantment scrolls to get a 50/50 chance of weapon level up or explosion. Worked best after server restarts for a specific reason. :)

I have a little formula I use myself to get rares, and it works

ok.. when a blue bp drops, Its a 50/50 chance of it being blue or gold..

So that must mean, every 50 blues that drop.. a gold will come next, and its worked so far

A gold will drop around the 50 blue boundary, so 45-55 drops then gold

That doesn't work for me.

I got no rare for several months, then 2 rares the same week. Then a few months without rare, then another. Now a few weeks has gone...

I have no problem getting blueprints to drop I always get gold blueprints everyday.. Even got 4 gold blueprints in 15 min on top of mountain on earth, but I guess you have to be lucky to get it since I read not everyone is as lucky as me:p
