So this is my first post. I have tried to log in today with no success. My boosters are running and Splitscreen has still done nothing to fix the issues or even had anyone in charge answer my forum posts nor my tickets to support. Is there anyone actually working for this game anymore???

Or is everyone just screwing the customers. I for one am sending out messages and asking questions as to the stability of this company. Does anyone know if they have a Better Business Bureau for online companies???

I wonder if they will ever do anything to get the game running properly. The funny thing is they have people working on translations for this game to other languages for other countries, but this game does not even work in many countries.

I play this game with people from many different countries and it seems that some countries are totally cut off from the game now or can not log in what so ever. I am currently based our of Shanghai China. I had absolutely no trouble or problems with this game except here or there lag from time to time. Now its just impossible to log in.
I get 100% loading and then goes over to the black screen with the PG logo and the loading wheel of doom. It circles round and round for about 1 minute before vanishing, leaving me to stare at the PG logo. I have restarted, refreshed, cleaned, deleted, reinstalled, virus scanned, Called my Service provider and every other possible thing to clear this problem from my end..... AND GUESS WHAT!?!?! Its not coming from me.

So I ask Anyone who works for Splitscreen. Get off your rear and fix the servers. There is no reason for all these problems. Are you a second rate shotty gaming company? I would like to think not, but you sure dont know how to run a business.
I am tempted to take a flight to Germany just to give the CEO's a piece of my mind, but cant speak German so would do no good. So I will just post a topic every day till I actually get a response from someone who actually knows what is going on in this game and why it is not working properly.

I’m clearly none of those „who actually knows what is going on in this game”, but here are my 2 cents:
I was checking the facebook pages from Split a few days ago -> PG had 18k, Steel Legions 10k and Dino Storm had 61k likes. So I assume all server capacity goes to Dino Storm
and thats why its laggy here.

And another thing: today (Friday 8pm German Servertime) I was searching for over 1h on all servers for a GM, because some problems should be solved asap and cant wait for the crazy long replying times from support. But do you think I found one? 1 Spanish GM was online, but that’s not helping much as he didn’t understood me, nor I him/her. On a Friday night where it's PG “rush hour” ... I’m a bit disappointed.

Well from what I have heard through the grape vine is that the English GM team has been abolished. I hear the German GM team will be taking over and that their tactics are let me say this in the nicest way possible "Silent but Deadly" as in they say not a word and you find yourself banned and will not give you a reason why. Seems there is no support right now for anyone to get any answers. The term "bad business" comes to mind. I hope they get things sorted soon.

Well Pilots, still no reply from anyone in authority here from either splitscreen or any GM or forum Mod. No one has replied on my support ticket either which make me wonder about the customer service. A business is successful when you create good customer service for their customers. You profit by making said customers happy so they will spend money on your company and also spread the word and bring other potential customers into the company, its just good PR. Now, when a company ignores its customers and does nothing in the way of support and trouble shooting to fix issues so the said customer can use the product. The company starts losing business and money and does not get good PR for its product. I am posting these to see if I will get any response from Splitscreen to see if they actually care about their customers. I for 1 would like to continue playing this game as its a great way for me to relax after a stressful day at work, and I have already sunk quite a bit of money, time and effort into their product. Call it a healthy investment if you will. So anyone out there with Splitscreen. I would sure like an answer to my questions and a resolution to get this situation sorted so I might be able to play again and enjoy this game.

I am sorry to hear that nachoninja, just want to clear you here that Forum staff has nothing to do with Game Support, nor with tickets, there is own personal for that, so it is inutile to bark at every tree what has a tail of staff on.

Please do not forget it is weekend, and we also had Easter what is vacancy time for many, so bare with us, and have a bit of patience.

Well you have heard, but don't forget there are many rumours what goes around, not necessarily truth in the end. Rumours has also another word association, and it is called gossips.

Adrana, if as you say, this is a rumour, please explain to us why no one has seen a GM in over 2 weeks on askone???

As a Paying player of this game, i have decided to keep my hard earned currency untill i knoow whats going on, i cannot pay for a game that has no support, this is my right and my wish to do do, i will NOT advise others to copy this path as it would get me banned, however i am legaly entitled to post my PERSONAL opinions. as the forum staff are "not" GM or splitscreen staff they cannot give us the answers we desire, however they can inform the appropriate person about these posts, so adrana, please forward these posts to highway, sayyadin or who ever else HAS the authority to answer them, this way the community can feel that you are listening and not spouting rhetoric,

Well if I could even log into the game to see if there was one. I would be sure to let you know, but I do have Teamspeak and talk to players who can actually log and and have said they have not seen a single GM on in the game in quite some time. Oh, and its funny that all you mentioned about was the speculation about the GM team and absolutely nothing about why this post was created and that reason is to find the answer as to why I can not log into the game from any location around the city I am in. And don't tell me its from my end cause I have had professionals look at all possibilities and all have said its coming from the source and the source is "splitscreen.

All I am doing is expressing my opinion and views. I would hope that there is someone there that is paying attention and again someone with the authority to do something. Adrana, you are a forum Mod, and you have a higher authority than I do with communication lines between Splitscreen and players, or at least know the lines of communication to let someone know the situation. It is not my intention to cause any trouble or issues. I would just like for someone to get the word back to the personnel responsible for quality control of this game and let them know that their product is not working correctly and there are customers that are not getting any kinds of answers and they need to start opening lines of communication to keep their valued customers clued in that they are at least trying to do their best to fix the issues and get things running back on track. I would hope that a large business such as splitscreen has the decency to keep their customers informed of any issues they might be having. I would rather know that there is a problem and to be patient, than to be left in the dark wondering why my time and money is being wasted. I do not have the right to ask these questions? I am in no way taking things out of the Mods or GM's, I am just trying to get lines of communication open.

Nachoninja, I can understand your frustration and anger, but I myself can't help you. No clue what the problem could be that you can't log into the game.

Only thing i can say (but doubtful that helps you): I also can't run that diagnosis tool -> it's the same problem as you have: a red X at "test file download" and a sandclock at "testign connection"

Well, at least I know Im not the only one having a problem with the diagnosis tool, and thanks so much for the reply. May I ask if you can log into the game at all?

during the easter event i only had a few times a loading screen of death, but like 95% of the time it worked well,

but others that i know of have had it much worse where they are getting the loading screen of death 50% of the time.

If I remember right some time ago Norwegian player like I had serious issues with the game, same like nachoninja. Someone should buy PG and maintain it better, or SS needs to try better to maintain their game. Maybe they're short handed? I'd assume PG gives some real money to hire some extra guys? I use booster, therefore I need to pay, I can tell you I know at least 80 people and whom 10% of these guys use more then 40 € a month, and some even pay up to 70 for all best boosters, you can just imagine the amount the company earns

Let's say PG got 10'000 different active players and whereof 3% pays(I am sure many more pays, but it's just to show you how much can be made) and in average per per player pays 15 euros, the amount PG would make would be 4500 €, bit less then what a average person earns in Norway... So the maintaining everything isn't so easy when you got around 10-20 people working in a game... but I am pretty certain when you got 3 games and each of the game had a average of 10-15% of the paying players the games would make it, but when you see stuff like this... Don't you wonder?

PG is a game developed by GAMIGO. Until Draconis (best part of the game) is developed by gamigo designers.
After, SS bought PG and start working from Sirius.

So, all we know when the game is going down ... sirius .... Tau cety ......

Well its day 3 for me and there is still no one that has replied to my customer support about logging in to the game. It has been almost 2 weeks since I have been able to log in to the game. Every resource has been exhausted. Seems there is no one home at splitscreen these days, and they sure dont care about their customers. Wonder if ill ever be able to play again. So I am going to try a new option. I am currently living in China, but next week I will be traveling back to the U.S. for a week. Hopefully I will be able to log in when I get back to America. Least I will get to cancel all my auto renews in the game so I dont have to spend any money on this poor quality game.

i laughed so hard when i read your little post.

i will tell you the truth,

Pirate Galaxy is a game developed by Splitscreen Studios from the start, it used the portal Gamigo till the Sol System where it became it's own portal. These portals are still functioning in the game and thats the difference between a Gamigo and Splitscreen,

Draconis? Draconis is for me the system that ruined pirate galaxy, i played it in the start, where you just wasted your energy and the game became unplayable if you didn't pay for it, that is the real story of draconis, not much heard today because everybody is getting rushed through it because everybody has a 70's ship helping them, but it was damm hard, even impossible to do it with level 60's with gazica technology, and we just needed the methanoid armor parsec to help us.

now, this old freaky guy is gonna shut up again, but do understand that I have a lot and I mean a lot of knowlegde of this game.

Not only GMs, but Facebook and webpage of PG are also dead for intel. The only thing we have got is PG Guide and rumors.
