Hi, I wanted to talk about something in the update that I really don't like, and to be honest, maybe it's just me, since I haven't heard practically anyone else talking or complaining about it. Maybe the problem is me? Idk
Overall, I didn't find the update bad. The boss concept is good, and hunting them is fine, although there are things I'd say are poorly implemented. I know the update was initially intended to incentivize PvP, which is fine, but let's be honest, this hasn't happened on any server for various reasons. The truth is, you get better rewards by collaborating with other players to kill the carriers, and this defeats any incentive purpose. Not to mention that boosters work for this content, which is a clear advantage. But anyway, beyond that, I understand that some people prefer to avoid PvP because you either get nothing or you run into someone with ridiculous amounts of boosters and infinite energy. But putting that aside, in general, PvP outside of Conquest seems super boring to me, since it can lead to incredibly fun 15v5 or 20v1 situations (I think this has happened on Askone, and I can confirm it's also happened on Aurora). Add to that what I mentioned earlier about boosters and infinite energy
Leaving that aside, something that particularly bothers me about the update is this

Words can't describe how awful this system is to me. It's ironic to think that just days before the update, a friend told me, "Imagine if BP had durability like weapons in Minecraft." I hate these durability systems, and when the update came out, I got this, which, while not the same, is a limited number of BP. You have to make carriers for each item on each ship you own, plus any additional carriers you want to keep if you buy new ships in the future
I thought, "Okay, I'll give the system a chance." I hated it, honestly. I prefer something that takes longer but has the assurance that once I complete a certain item, I can keep it forever and install it on as many ships as I want. I know perfectly well that the system is designed to ensure active players for a long time; I understand that perfectly. And I also know that this helps prevent other solar systems from being empty and attracts more players, but honestly, I just can't stand this system XD
Again, maybe the problem is just me, but I find it much nicer to think, "Hey guys, u want to do carriers, it's fun, and you get cryo" versus "I have to do carriers if I want to get BP" The first case is something that happens completely naturally, and the cryo drop rate is quite good. Please don't nerf the amounts again. Remember there's a global booster, so don't be scared by the numbers. But as I mentioned, it's more fun to occasionally do carriers with friends and get cryo, even if you already have the BP, than to feel obligated to do carriers because of that strange feeling that you'll never complete the BP, which is technically true. Killing carriers occasionally with friends for cryo rather than for BP sounds like a better idea than killing carriers for hours, days, weeks, and who knows how many months. It just isn't as fun anymore
Besides, how different is it if some players get the BP they think they need for their ships and then quit the game? It's not that different from completing it once and never playing again
This is just my opinion, again, I haven't seen practically anyone mention this, but this is something I wanted to express in the forum
