@Alinoe I thought that in my last reply, just after the latest WS balance was released, I had closed the case, because I doubt they will change that again, so I left it and waited for them to close this thread that I had created.
That doesn't mean I'm happy with it, but I no longer see or notice as much imbalance as I did at first. It seems more reasonable to me, and I'll explain why.
Now the WS seems a bit more reasonable to me than the first time, which I complained about, and I'll explain why, at least on the Aurora Server, OK? (As an added bonus, private conquests do not award excessive points to pilots; most of them go to the clan's WS. So I don't really understand your complaint, Alinoe)
Players who only attend Conquest (45 minutes daily) Colossus (2 hours or 1 hour, even 5 minutes depending on attendance) in PVP and do 1 or 2 reactors (PVE 1 hour minimum, 3 maximum, once every 2 weeks), easily manage to be in the top spots, which I still find absurd, being full PVP and minimum PVE, and they remain at the top of the list with that little ‘combined’ effort, both WS for that minimum playing time, but okay, I'm satisfied to know that now they are achievable with a PVE and PVP combination of a reasonable player, although there aren't many. Not like the first time I had to spend a whole week, every day scoring from one planet to another to catch up and beat them by just a small margin, when they had only played PVP, all because I missed one conquest. Imagine how bad that was...
CLARIFICATION ABOUT MY AURORA SERVER: THERE ARE FREE CONQUETS EVERY DAY (except in exceptional cases), so I believe we all have the same opportunities based on the time we devote to the game. PvP players are only surpassed by those who do both PvP and PvE, and there aren't many of those either. There are no fanatics who play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but anyone who misses 1 or 2 conquests falls behind in that regard. PvP players have an advantage, and I still don't like it, but nothing is perfect, and now there is a better ‘balance’ than before. Of course if you play PvP and PvE, that's what the developers were aiming for, right?
@Highway @Narokath @Faye NOW it's impossible to win by being only PVE or only PVP, so in that sense it's an achievement for the developers.
Oh you can also spam Sirius r1-4 missions... It reward a lot of warscore for almost no risk of being targetted by pvp players... So don't take any risk and get a lot of warscore... seems fair no?
And to answer you for this, yesterday I had to do missions on three planets in the 4º ring, which luckily were very close together, to get to a 5º one without having to wait so many hours. I did them all and it took me about three hours, one hour per planet, and I got 250,000 WS or less, maybe, I don't know (which is 45 minutes per conquest earned). Oh, and it wasn't without risk. There was a planet where a pilot was chasing me, but there aren't that many people in those rings, so it's not something that happens often, and you're not obliged to attack every pirate you encounter.
Another thing, remember the score penalties. It's not possible to spam missions on the same planet. I tried it once, not work, and remember the rings in Sirius aren't always together, so that's another obstacle.
All I see are complaints from people who want to play 45 minutes a day and get everything. I think there are few players who are online 24/7, but at the very least, we should recognise the time invested. It's enough that PVP players have been rewarded and we get so many points for going to fight. Before, our WS was non-existent, but now it's more present and stronger than ever. Stop complaining so much and, if anything, do something other than PVP, like helping new players. And those who are now on white missions will finish them, and I doubt that their desire to repeat them will be very strong, over time this will be practically a golden skull for PVP players.
