I understand what you're telling me, but you shouldn't keep that limit of 150 ships. It's kind of frustrating not being able to have the ships we want to buy with our own effort.

Why was a limit introduced in the first place? What is the point of restricting the number of spaceships available in the hangar? Surely it’s up to each player to decide how many they earn and then place in the hangar. It’s a very strange restriction. Why not remove it?

Likely infrastructure/database management related reasons. Basically, the reason is probably technical and not design.
