Will splitscreen be coming out with a client of browser version compatible with windows 7? XP ran fine but when I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 with all current drivers and software, both browser and client crash or they just dont log in. I have to sit here and refresh the browser 5-10 times before I even see the log in screen or maybe 15-20 times before I am even able to get in the game to play. It becoming rather monotonous and getting to the point of where I just dont want to play any more.

I am currently using Windows 7 Ultimate and it works just fine here.

i use the 64bit vesion of windows 7 ulltimate and was work good but since this week it's start to log on harder so ill try to reinstall it today

i had the same problem when i installed windows 7, i would say chek ur driver for ur graphic card again.
windows 7 installs a standard driver card if he cant find a proper driver for it so u have to instal manually.
it had installed for me a standard ATi radeon driver and my card uses NVIDIA geforce..... driver so
i suggest u look again to ur drivers...

I will check for an update to what I have but as you seen in the first post, all my drivers are up to date. I didnt use the generic driver that Winblows gives. I went to the nvidia site and used theirs 
EDIT: OK, just to knock that out of the water, I reinstalled the video drivers and it still has no effect on my log in issue. As stated in the earlier post, the game will run. Yes it crashes but it runs. I can not get logged in to the game most of the time. I have to sit here and wait for it to tell me the server is down so I click retry for about 15 minutes before I get upset and try the browser to the SAME effect. I sit and wait for it to tell me the server is offline until finally after about an hour of clicking retry, it finally logs in. Now, the thing I DID find out is if I open BOTH browser and client, it DOES get me to the log in screen faster and with less retry clicks. Not sure what that has to do with anything but that is how I get in the game. Any other ideas besides my vid drivers?

Maybe this will help. I done the compatibility check on the browser site and got this info. The only thing different is Windows XP had all green check marks and Windows has a red x where it says launch external process. Maybe a hint to my problems?

Try running in XP Mode that may help - also you didnt state what Version 7 you are running - Also make sure your Java is udated & not locked in your security settings - must be enabled (default is Disable for Java) you may also add either http://us.pirategalaxy.net or http://eu.pirategalaxy.net to your allowed sites list if you play in the Browser
I have run the game in XP SP2, XP SP3, Vista and even 2000 mode and still the same thing. As for the version of 7, its Ultimate. Now on to the java stuff, its a brand new install of everything. Updated java, flash, everything and all drivers are updated also. Where would I go to unlock java in my security? Kinda new in Win7 and not sure where to go.Astraeus said:

Well, I made some progress on the client and its endless loading and not loading issue. It seems if I reinstall the game before I run it, everything is ok so I made a SFX file of the PG files after they update the launcher.exe and use that to install PG. Everything is fine but it seems the files are being corrupted when I log out and click exit forcing another install. Almost the same issue I had when I had XP installed but with XP, I didnt need to reinstall after SS done a hotfix. I will see if I can narrow down the file that is being corrupted and possibly how its being corrupted. If there are any logs you might need to help determine this, let me know and I will reply with the logs posted in a post.
Update as to what I have done so far and found something that sorta works. In my ealier post I mentioned that I zipped all the original files in a packed EXE from winrar and use that to reinstall the game well, that stopped working for some reason so now what I do is use that same exe file that I created but only after a reboot. Once I reboot and then reinstall the game, I only have to click retry 2-3 times but shortly after, the game crashes forcing me back to browser which I cant see so I ahve to resize my desktop to 1280x800 just so I can see everything. Anyhow, that is my findings so far. MAYBE someone can take a look at everything in this subject and possibly give me a valid work around or perm fix? Would be greatly appreciated.
