Wiki for everyone

Hello players of Pirate Galaxy,

I see a lot of people only visit the wiki or just visit other sites such as the hitchhikers guide from v1-hyper (a great side btw, nothing wrong if you go there).

But I think the wiki needs a differant aditude or atleast that the players will visit it more often for certain small things, such as that you might have found a new blueprint drop for conquest blueprints or rare blueprints.

The wiki is now only edited by wiki masters, maybe the players think that the wiki masters will do it, but we can't see everything and there isn't a function that players can post their discoveries.

I would like to invite more players to the wiki, you won't have to do anything only if you like it, but first of all, I would like your oppinion about if some codes or templates are too hard to change or that it's too hard to get what it means.

If so, then I would be happy to make it more accesible (if possible) or atleast give enough information so everyone can be able to do something.

I hope a lot of players would want to help me with this.

I will have to agree with Pbhuh on this. The Wiki does need more Pilot input. It will be the Pilots not the Wiki Masters who make the Wiki a place for accurate Information. Pilots, Please support our Wiki. See a Wiki Master if you dont know how to post there or need help with a thread

OK, my question likely sounds stupid, but exactly what you want us to do in the wiki? We cant make account to the wiki so we cant edit stuff. Are we supposed to like write to this tread what we want to be edited or what we are supposed to do?

Offtopic: What for are the pages where is only number for bp parts needed? Whats the point for them? Wouldnt it be lot easier to just add them to the template or something?

currently it's pretty hard to register your accaunt as I have to accept them, I hope sayyadin might be able to make the security back as it was in the begin, if atleast their wont be spam-bots.

the pages for bp parts were usefull to edit both the blueprint pages themselfs and the template for the blueprint page, this takes a lot of space, but I was able to reduce it for all weapons except collector, repair droid and afterburner.

I hope you understand this, I have the feeling it's kinda messy ^^

Well I visit the wiki once a month, and help around, change stuff that is wrong and stuff, I got school, I don't have much time for pg anymore, but some times I visit wiki and help around.

i'd agree with galaxy-delta. hitchiker's is much more comprehensive than pg wik, people are interested in pricing, damage, energy consumption, requirements... ya know the practical stuff

secondly pbhuh, i was checking a bit your PG wiki page and i find ship description rather funny:
defender bad in pvp? i guess u havent seen those guys. storm has little armor? it's armored well enough (more armor than shock engi sniper) and with all the firepower it has it's the best overall ship in the game.

lastly, a bit more info for your PG page: attack field turret (for defender) and attack charge (on sniper) DO NOT give any bonus to ship's attacks cause those items do not work - it's commented that this is a bug but my opinion is that SS simply turned these functions off because they would "unbalance" the ships if they actually worked - this happens when people want balanced ships both for pvp and pve. nonsense
