Where is the fun?

Hello there.

When i first joined the game
-it had CQs where you could dive just to be poded, for FUN.
-You could grind for a day and have a fully equiped ship.
-Next day you could have some fun killing REDs somewhere for FUN.
-Then you could show of your mightiness for some noobs entering their squad and helping in some missions
-You could have 200 buddies
-If you don't wanna waist time on grinding, you could BUY ships.
and it was FUN, ppl were happy, well there was always someone whining for loosing their gold BPs...

NOW:
-I have to GRIND cryonites 571.000Crystals to get 1 draconis ship, with full BLUE upgrades
-If i POD i loose what i take 15 min to GRIND, and that not counting on E harvesting
-I have to GRIND for some 8 hours to have a full Blue BP

So...in total, and counting with the poor drop rate/vallue of crystals in Draconis system(average 3K/hour).
===> I'll have to grind for 8 hours x 8 BPs = 64 hours to have all the blue BPs, that will also give me 192K of crystals (3K/hour) (if i don't POD)
571-192K=379K
Now i go to the lower system and get some AWESOME 5K/Hour while grinding...what means 379/5=76hours
That means 140 hours just to have a decent ship with TOP Blue BPs...
If i play 2-3 hours everyday, that means: 140/2,5=56 Days!!!

Thats almoust 2 MONTHS to have a fully NON RARE ship!!!

So i ask you: ARE YOU MAD?!?! How do you expect us to have fun? Even if we pay...

I agree with you Bala. I am only really here now because of the friends I have made during my time playing PG. If not for them, I would be long gone.

i second everything said here and i add this: these along with some issues that came out by new loot system and new steering is the reason i quit playing. i log in now to chat with some buddies from clan but they've moved to other games as well. SS should really put the things back as they were before cause this is truly ridiculous.

They told they introduce new loot system to eliminate situations where we could search gold having bad luck for month, to decreaxse time of collecting gold drasticaly.
Now after playing here, my calculations are, than i need minimum month to have DDB, of course if i have very big luck, becouse assassing more offten are drioping scrambler. And considering droprate, i can berely drop drop one per day(playing 2-3 hours per day).
From other side, for what hunt for golds, if they destroyed CQ, elimio\nated help from outsde SQ, no more clanwars. They lefft in this game only grinding with ridiculous droprate times.

I agree, fun has gone.

I have spent many hours looking for 1 Rare and when it finally dropped the smile on my face touched my eye brows, now having to collect more for the tec seems to be extreme boredom even though the time might be around the same time to get the tec its to repetitive.

I think the achievement points should be reviewed to reflect how much you have completed certain points of the game, come on completing a galaxy of tec and story missions, should be at least 100 points.

hope you decide to review and re-think what you have soon.

We are forced to look backward because what we see now is just awful. I already quit pg, mostly cuz it takes too much time now.( also because now we have to get used to the new features like the steering, which no one wanted= just a big waste of time). Not to mention the cry, the bps and all the stuff.
But dont worry... I will still be here on the forum complaining

Only thing I want back from the old is the Cq.

If you are not playing anymore, why keep on complaining, I believe as you do not experience the game and it's changes, your points are not valid anymore.

Player account cannot be deleted nor removed, but I can close up a forum account of player who doesn't play anymore, and I have all rights to do so if you have informed you quit playing.

Inutile to complain against that.

I still log in to talk to friends, and as some other ppl said the only reason pg is still alive is the community( which is actually getting ruined with engi interaction for example). With quit playing i meant i will never spend 5 hours a day on this game anymore. I will still stay here with the chance the game will get better( even if i dont think so)

If you think it's the same, think again. It's not.

I used to be able to steer my ship with keyboard controls only, while using the mouse to look around.
Now, the ship responds sluggishly or not at all to direction changes. It also continuously tries to point itself towards something you have targeted, which becomes very confusing very fast. You get disoriented this way.

When I look back at the footage I used to take on cqs, there were certain movements I could let me ship do without trouble; which are impossible now. At best, I look like a drunk in a helicopter, when trying them with any of the current steering settings. 360° turns and the like are not as simple as they used to be.

Just try flying a perfect circle around a targeted enemy (something which i frequently did in the bases of a cq). Try keeping a set distance from a Mantis, which requires constant throttle stop throttle stop (because you're slightly faster than the Mantis is, therefore you can't fly full speed.) You'll find it's not so easy with your ship constantly trying to go towards the Mantis on its own, even if you do not have "follow target" enabled.

Yet again someone from the Splitscreen assumes that we're not trying and therefore have no grounds to complain. Yet again, we're being insulted, suggesting it's our fault we're not even trying to adapt to new changes.

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH and as long as all you Ivory Tower Dwellers working for Splitscreen don't get that into your brains, the complaining from players, the ones leaving the community, the ones stopping to buy boosters and memberships,... will only increase in numbers until your entire game will be deceased.

It's kind of hard not to look at the past of PG (also known as the good times) now that it has been ruined. I doubt anything will be done to fix it (i really just want old CQ and cryo back) but ill still pop in to talk to friends every now and then. Other then that, until i see a good "original" update ill be ranting even though i doubt that anybody listens to the rants anymore.

I also noticed that even when we get new updates that are good they take out something. They let us get energy faster for example but cut our cryo in half. If they would focus on just giving us stuff and not taking stuff away then maybe they would notice that sometimes just giving is a way to even things out. This also hapened with the bp update. I saw increased bp drop rate and got my hopes up ^^ but then i saw we have to collect several of these and that got my hopes down again. :frown:

And yes i know they increased the cryo amount or whatever but still. its not like it was before.
