Hi there!

I created this thread to see what other people would like to see in Pirate Galaxy. People can come up with some great ideas!

i'll start:
Removed Energy system (or make it you can buy say 100 energy for 10 cryonite at space stations)

Different control modes. Example:
Arcade/Original: Controls are the same as they are now
Advanced: You manually have to roll left/right and you can climb/descend, you manually fire each shot and manually aim, different cameras like cockpit cam. A bit wild but sounds good huh?

A little bit more XP gained from killing eliminators/avengers .etc

(Mentioned before) Different cameras like cockpit cam

What do you guys want to see in Pirate Galaxy?

being able to customize The Hotkeys interface ( 1-8 ) changing where you want your skills at.

What was the old bp system? I forgot and am curious, but the energy system was cool, but makes the game twice as long and inconvienant

The old original BP system was 1 BP only per item needed.
It was although much harder to get a rare bp back in those times.

Also we at start only had the 4 basic and generic Rare bp's as Blaster, Repair Droid, Collector and Afterburner.
Only later was the other items introduced with rares.
There was not either any rare ship drops in Vega, there was no rare ships.
When a new system was created, we were able to buy the next system ship in the Gold Shop.

Parsecs there was only the Storm available, there was no other type.

Energy was very much slower to collect, they made it more speedy, a bit bigger, and memberships brought variations of it's use.

CQ's, there was no Mothership, only the clans, and no alliance system was build up, there was no restrictions of how many could be on the planet of clan/allies, they came to fight player vs player if they supported the clan that fought in the cq for bases.
There was no determined clan to take the planet beforehand, that was agreed between the clans and allies.
The bases were just bases where the clan members had to stay in, and defend it when enemy tried to take over. You had to go red for to land on CQ planet.
The bases counted points of taking, but if you lost the base, you really lost it.
So we had to take more bases than the enemy to win, if one clan managed to take all bases the CQ was won.

We didn't drop cryonite when we died, we drop bp's either normal or rares, and the one who killed got the bp drop, of course after a few minutes it was visible for everyone.
So the items of bp's had to be installed as fast you could to at least have it if the bp dropped in when you were killed.

In old times we also had so called "Hotshields" when you died, you went to hangar you had to repair your hotshield using Cry and Energy. The Cry drop lost replaced this system.
There was no self mat system in the game.

The rewards for a CQ was you owned the planet till next CQ, you could land and refill your E on it, it had the MAX amount of a system in the e-balls.
When you won, you got a 5% cry bonus on the cry you gathered in that system, anywhere.
If you won Vega Junkyard, the Crybonus was 10%.
These cry % bonuses applied to everything, the payment of Missions, and Cry drops from mantis.
An example, Mission name xxxxxx 230 cryonite +10% Bonus.

This is what I want back, the old and original CQ system, I want the Motherships out, and player vs player fun pvp's back on cq's.
I also want out the Gravitons, as there is a huge disadvantaged to smaller clans who cannot fight and win in a CQ and get Gravitons that way, these depend only on the daily graviton drops.
I have seen who these Gravitons are causing lots of fights in CQ's and anywhere, players accusing others of the use of Gravitons, argues, and lots of bad language in public chat.

If something could be better in this game, it should start with removing all what is making bad blood in the game, quarrels and argues, would be much much better to play for everyone.

Well, here is my list of must-haves if I am going to think about returning to PG:

Revert to the old BP system, or lower the drop rates significantly for the BP Parts as they are now.

CQ Balancing: I was part of one of the larger clans, but cq felt more like a chore than an epic battle mano a mano. I agree that smaller clans have a disadvantage, and I think that the player limit should be flexible, so that, for example, a smaller clan with only 10 members can top the limit there for the other team. In this case, the teams would have even numbers, and thus (theoretically) an even chance.

Cryo grinding: MAKE IT FASTER. I used to spend 2 hours a day grinding for 7-8k cryo. That means at least 20 hrs of game time for 90k, the cost of a rare Draconis BP, and the price of a Sirius bp, regular. Wait, there goes all my time. How about I spend it studying instead? It would be better spent.
It would be nice if the time hack changed to: 20k in an hour, or even more. That would make me more willing to return.

PvP seems heavily favored towards higher level and rared out players, but it always has. And, I am a higher level player, so thats alright :devilish: :devilish:

what I want is a new parsec class ship, the ultimate parsec class, costing 1,350,800 for the ship with no armor. (double the price of the parsec) then all the armors are double the parsecs armors. It had the HP of the dominator but you can put any tech on it, and you can change what tech it has whenever you want. a Hybrid parsec
