I agree with sniperking, on the armor, if you are paying over a million cryionite for a ship atleast make it worth getting it. If its only a very slight upgrade might as well remove the ship from game, its just another lvl 60 ship that can take 1 more hit. In pvp a persec shouldnt be beaten by a r60 ship atleast by the same counterpart. Its very unfair on the people who spent countless hours grinding cryionite and spending money on these cryionite boosters to only get a ship that can only take 1 more hit than a r60 ship.

As for the car bull DivineWind what your saying is a mini metro (lvl 60 ships) should win a race against a porshe (persec) i dont think so we should get what we pay for a persec is 8-9 times more then a lvl 60 ship so it should be alot more stronger then 0.5% stronger then a lvl 60 counterpart that just takes the mick and is a rip off

Seems hard for me to believe that you did not hear this before hand. I have heard people with parsecs complaining for awhile now about how they feel the parsec is too weak for how much you spend on it. I have instead bought all 4 level 60 ships and the sol sniper instead. Much better value for money. Maybe you should have given it much more thought and asked around before spending so much cry on a level 50 ship.

Hody the funny thing is i did ask people that had a persec if it was worth it and they said yes with a lol now i know what the lol was for they wanted me to waist my C and yes i have the sniper ship and will soon build lvl 60 shock when i slowly get enough C but progress is slow these days as A) i have a clan to run and B) theres no way im spending more money lol

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the rumor I heard about a Draconis Sniper Parsec are true. I am saving for that, or all the Draconis ships if the rumor is not true.

Well, the idea of getting a persec class sniper for draconis is great, but if it is only .5% better than the regular draconis ships it too will be a waste of time and cry. I wouldnt get 1 if the developers dont make the persec class ships worth getting. I was grinding for a terrorizer lately. Now i will just save the cry for draconis. I guess i am lucky in a way i got a cry booster from event. I was planning to buy 1. That would have been a such a waste of money.

Parsecs is a collector ship. only terrorizer can beat(or survive) other parsecs ;-)

When riku was grinding for his Parsec, I was too in the start. Then I start to read comments and hear read the public chat about the real "advantage" of having a Parsec.
I had also the advantage of having all 4 Parsecs while I was sgm in old days, so I knew some about their power, and the lack of it with experience.

I gain wisdom, and I decided I will not acquire a Parsec, I'd rather save up for to buy all SOL ships, I had crystals for to buy, and equip them all when I reach SOL, first R45 Sol ships and still had cry for to buy all R60 once I got to the rank.

I did and I bought and equipped ALL 4, so in all this, with the cry I was to spend on a Parsec, I bought & equipped 7 SOL ships, cause I bought the SOL storm with Gold when still at Mizar.
I had left 134k Cry when I had all those done and bought and equipped, and armored.
So see I still had cry left, and had absolutely no need to grind for any armor, nor the fear of getting podded and loosing huge amounts of cry. Nothing.

I am still very happy with my decision, the only Parsec I would love to have is the Engineer, aka Constructor Parsec, thats the only one I miss.

at the end of the day the parsec still has the best armor and best fire power in the game, but its defo not worth what it costs, it is no more than a collectors item now but it had a good run as a ship, it is a show off ship more than anything else and is still the ship everyone whats to beat in a 1v1, i cant believe someone of your lvl sniperking didnt know what the parsec was like mate, even i told you not to get it cos they are weak when you told me you was grinding for one, maybe there my be a 3rd armor for it for draconis iv hered ppl talking about it so there might be

best firepower NO. firepower is same as any ship. there is no better firepower on ship. all depend what bp you use.

lol i killed a r60 tank the other day in my sniper, now it has better armor then me but less fire power so both of you are wrong, just cos the tank has more hp/armor then me but it still lost that doesnt change the fact that a r60 tank has more hp/armor does it. and the storm/parsec storm does have the most fire power in the game cos it kills the fastest, things like stuns and aim scramblers are NOT fire power they are counter measures a stun charge or aim scrambler WILL NOT pod you if used on its own but rockets/thermo will. why does everyone say the storm/storm parsec class is the best ship for ranking up fast???? cant be cos the mantis think it looks the best so the die faster for storm class ships lol so YES the parsec storm DOES have best firepower/armor/hp in the game

Then, a GC-1 has the same firepower as a Parsec ^^

Firepower can't be ´´measured´´ by which ship you have only the bp's, and so, you can not say that the Parsec has more firepower than any other storm ship. Besides, snipers have more firepower than parsecs.

Lol, you remind me of the fight i had with SG-Fighter on Earth, i was in Sol Tank, he was in Sniper, he won, but i assure you SG, i might have won if it wasn't for my massive lag!

i feel sorry for all those who bought a parsec BUT you should have seen it coming. before sol came out i knew we would be able to handle the parsecs one day. maybe sol if it wasn't sol it would get easier but you knew it from the start those ships would be beaten by regular ships one day. look at cqs took couple mizar storms to kill 1 parsec so everyone who bought one after that could have expected it that sol storms could beat it. i really feel sorry for you guys but sometimes i think you better thought bit more.

Where do you start? Well how about bitter dissapointment for a kick off.
Having spent a long time grinding and gathering 1.5 million crystal to obtain a Parsec, it was at the time, a good idea. how wrong could i have been.
On its first trip to Earth with full armour and all raring to go it barely survived an encounter with a commander.
I would have at least expected it to shrug off the stun and limp away, but no it was dead in the water.
My Storm took less time to recover and retaliate and with minimal damage to HP. It is in my opinion a complete waste of time energy and effort to obtain a "trophy ship" and I sincerely wish I had not bothered. I have not even got into a PvP yet and to be honest I would not embarrass myself by doing so.
would it stand up to a CQ? I doubt it very much.
The main problem is the armour, it may as well be papier mache, because for the price you pay its not worth the crystal. Eight hundred thousand crystal (800,000)for tissue paper, nice one devs you really saw Parsec owners coming a mile off, I can only say that fortunatley I am playing the free game so it only cost me time and effort,
For those of you that have parted with good hard earned money for boosters and the like I think you have been robbed. for those wanting to part with hard cash, seriously think about it first.
Unless something is done about the armour, I would advocate for not bothering with a Parsec it is a personal choice as a trophy, if you want to expend the effort of obtaining one, then fine, its your choice ,but don't waste your time effort and money on what is essentially a piece of junk
