I think I now understand what the devs meant, well I kind of like the idea of them, If I'm right they want to make us players try teamwork with the another clans or something? When 1 clan in a planet is hard for survival, but when several clans join forces can u imagine how far we could get... Well it's what I think what the devs want us to do, Team Work Game play!


P.S: I hope sirius will have ships, well armored and high firepower, btw the enemy got high fire power, strong armor, and they're more then us...

We have this already. There called "alliances".

Ok, here is another one of my "observations" with Sirius mechanics....

It has to do with the Quarcs. Once you do complete the CM of a planet you get to go around and find ROCKS on the ground that you need to shoot so they drop a Quarc of that planet. All well and good.... EXCEPT that the ROCKS being level 1 are a BIT TOO TOUGH don't you think? I mean , come on, how strong do you think a rock should be?? REDUCED ITS ARMOUR for goodness sake!

But WAIT, there's MORE!! Once you finally shoot the ROCK you get to collect the quarc that drops from it..... and how long does this take exactly??

ONE MINUTE AND THIRTY FIVE SECONDS!!! For those of you who cannot read it is => 1min 35 secs

OR 1.5 MINUTES!!

Each quarc gives your ship 1% more battery power of that quarc type so to collect the max of 30 at a time means you spend 45mins SIMPLY COLLECTING QUARCS!!

OH what a GRAND use of GAME PLAY time!

And everyone thought collecting GREENS was boring?? Wel WAIT until u have to collect QUARCS!

Quite frankly this is a total waste of game play time! The rocks need to be changed so they are easy to kill and fast to collect.

Why do you insist on wasting even MORE of our time collecting CRAP to drive the JUNK SHIP? Isn't collecting GREENS to buy items enough?? But now you force the game play into collecting gravitons and quarcs also?? And don't go tell us that you can BUY gravitons as they are simply a waste of money. They don't hardly slow down anything and they cost far to much for what they do.

Its time to sit back and think about your actions! Clearly you as a company have upset MANY players! A lot of them (myself included) are ones that BUY GOLD! Don't you think that you might just be hurting a potential income stream by making too many changes in a way that makes a lot of people realise how boring the game is becoming from a basic mechanics point of view (ie, collection times)?

This really is a great game, but I am afraid your current choices in arranging the Sirius system will , no doubt, cause many paying players to give up.

I honestly believe you will have to change the way the Jump Ship works to retain players in the long run. your current system for making Sirius work requires far too much in the way of peoples time to complete. The Shielding idea will simply NOT WORK long term. Players will see how much of a DRAG it is to have to keep starting over. Collecting a fuel source is one thing but also shielding it? How lame.

We need a stable base from which to go out and explore Sirius, not a decaying ship. Having to get a ship in itself is not such a bad idea and collecting fuel for it is not such a bad idea either. But to have that investment simple decay over time is a bad concept!

You would be better off removing the graviton idea from the ship and sell Quarcs for fuel instead. You can still have Gravitons for sale as ppl will use them in game play (as I have often seen them do).

Buying gravitons is simply a waste of real money! At the moment the cost of gravitons is 590 gold at the discounted price and to charge a shield to 100% requires 20 "ship gravitons" which is 60 normal ones (due to the complete ridiculous conversion rate of 3:1.

So that means 60 gravs must be purchased to completely charge the shields. 60 times 590 = 35,400 GOLD! In my currency that is about $40, and for JUST gravitons that is ridiculous! But once it goes back to 1,500 GOLD per pack then it becomes simply PATHETIC!

Offer things in the shop that are actually USEFUL for game play ok, Graviton packs ARE NOT!

You better consider closely the things you do to the game or you will kill it off with your apparent greed!

Honestly, that's not the worst point in sirius.....

I've been playing PG over a year now, I was allready waiting in sol, spending my times podding red when draconis released. And it don't bother me to wait 8 months for sirius release...

Things is, in others star system, some stuff are hard to achieve, but you get some rewards, such as an example draconis : I was one of the first to land on gazica with my full rare sniper and my buddys. We've been owned by rank 66 mantis, especially minelayer ^^. But after some hours of pain; we manage to get our BPs. Then we try story mission, that was hard with rank 60 ships, but we finally get the rank 70 ships and make our way trought Hive to get rare and best Drac BPs.

In sirius, it's even more difficult for nothing, no rewards!! only the opportunity to waste your gravi and your time...

You reach a planet, you do Clan Missions, then harvest for Quark, then reach a new one, and again and again, BPs from this planet are not much powerfull than draconis rare....

I finally manage to reach outter ring of Sirius, to an ancient planet, what a joke, 15 people to kill one ancient that drop a BPs that needs to have 12 pieces, and not event better than draconis tech because that was Mizar tech...

I don't want to spend my time and money to get something for a system I've allready achieve...

And now I'm thinking of playing to the end of my boosters and membership, then I'm done with PG, and I'm not the only one to think that way.

To bad, PG was the greatest Game I ever played, but it turn twisted....

I am pritty much whith Uriel on this, i have mebership on Askone and Solaria plus some 30 boosters they run out at the end of the month and im afraid i might leave as well or at least not renev my membership and boosters and im a long time gold user, spent about 2000 euros so far on the game.
I have playd this game for 2 years today..yep today is my 2 year annevarsery,(on Askone) the thing is i really dont like Sirius, im not sure i stay even if they fix the mantis strength, jumship and all that stuff...it´s not the game i came to love, i want storimissions and my whitemissions as the game has been, i would not call my self antisosial but i like beaing solo getting bp´s and goldies and just shoot stuff on my one, storimissions i squad up.
I just dont see the point whit the new sys as Uriel said u jump to a planet do missions get quarks and jump to next planet and redo all again..that is just crap... not to mention all the effort to keep the jumpship alive
so it will last mabie 4 days.....mabye they fix some of this but the game will never be the same.
Anywais i just whanted to say my peace.

1) Many players did not like the STORY method of advancing (myself included), that is gone! In its place is a clan based team work idea instead. But this is a forced team work technique and will not really work for a lot of players.

2) Many of us wanted more variety of ships! Well all you need to do is look into achievements and will see that there are many to find!! Meth ships for EACH system, Ancient Ships for EACH system (and their bps), AND 2 sirius ships (which I think have the ability to have varied items added to them - if the enemy we are fighting is an indication of attack methods!!). So all this is good as it means lots of ships to find.

3) There was no sense of mystery with the old story method. It was "monkey see monkey do" and was as boring as hell really. NOW it seems we have to work out what to do - Holy Crap !!! WE HAVE A MYSTERY!!! 
But maybe a general overview of what direction we need to go or start may help here.

4) the 3 points above ARE improvements for the game HOWEVER..... There are just a FEW main problems that MOST players are complaining about and here are my thoughts on those;

1) the way game play is now FORCED onto us to work in a team/clan based technique is wrong. Sure, some mantis need team work to take down.... but almost ALL OF THEM?? This has to change! The way we are forced to progress as a team is totally wrong! There are issues over bp drops and booster effectiveness when not everyone has a bp booster. Who gets to slurp up the bp first? It becomes a "free for all"! Forced team work to kill enemy and then free for all to get the reward?? Get a grip guys!

2) Now, we all like a challange BUT basically the enemy is FAR TOO STRONG!! Their armour needs to be reduced by half at least! Sure, they might be easier to kill with Sirus rare guns etc but that tech is A LONG WAY OFF!! The best we have is not good enough. It becomes a lame chore to shoot enemy over and over etc boring....... Yawn!
Not to mention the low drops and REDICULOUSLY high number of bp parts required to complete most is STUPID! Get a grip! 

3) The Jump Ship! How lame! Not the fact that we have to buy a ship to go through the wormhole but that ONLY a clan boss can get one!! AND the fact that it WILL "die" no matter HOW MANY gravs you put into it!  This needs to change! We need a Sirius BASE STATION at the wormhole like ALL OTHER systems have. Maybe make it so the Jump ship needs to return for repairs to the Base station or something but don't force us to keep on buying new ones as they die off!

4) If you are not careful you lose gold jumping to planets you have already explored!! WRONG! Fix this BUG NOW!! I can understand if you want us to pay gold to open planets we have NOT sent the jump ship to! This would be a privilege of paying customers but the way things are now indicates your star map jump selection has a MAJOR BUG!!

5) BUGS! There are so many! No more to say here.

Thus in summing up. There are basic game ideas that have been introduced that are good ( the first 3 main points ), but there are too many game mechanics that are way off home base. Basically three main areas need to be addressed;
1) the way the Jump Ship works needs to change;
2) forced team/clan method needs to be changed;&
3) the armour of the enemy needs to be reduced drastically (which would allow a fix for (2) ).

These are my thoughts .... So YES talking to the DEVS is a very good idea!

But before sirius, you wanted sirius. You have gotten what you have asked for. I do agree about BPs, Armour, Mantis/Anything and stabase and Bugs.

lol Gem Aim Scr on domi insta-miss of everything except agrobomb, mine, sticky bomb and sniper-blast. Armour shouldn't be a problem. Grind a Domi and Gemini Rare AIM SCR = problem solved (Don't patch up 2 year glitch please GM).

There should be some sort of way of Reapairig jumpship. A solo Planet every now and then would be good.

BPs should stay in same system if enemies become easier.

hmm... ... Realized your off-topic. There should be Offical chat mods from SS on at least 14 hours a day. Patch up Alliance bug please i lost my whole alliance durring a CQ but somehow i won.

I think the current system is;
Players → GMs → SS
there needs to be some form of dirrect contact between Players and SS.

There actually is - Community Manager - You may always come to me if there is an Issue, Question or anything else. The structure for Bugs or Problems is to :

1) Create a Ticket at Pirate Galaxy Support - This is so we can track any bugs, problems or Issues
2) Contact Me thru any GM if you need my Urgent attention
3) PM me thru Forum any Questions or Suggestions you may have
