yup some of u thought the vondoom (-NASHER-) saga was over and done with
Yes hes account was stolen this has been proven and yes the account has been frozen but the account as soooo many of our accounts are on gamigo and they decided that vondoom could not provide the right proof that the acc is his so they simply freeze his account
Even a high up splitsreen gm believes him but alas he could not help in the matter as its a gamigo account. Sad sad sad. I would have hoped for SS to at least remake the acc on their server but obviously this is asking alot and hope is fading.

So my advise is to simply screenshot all of your acc details including your Gas: details as u never know when YOU might need it? Will it help? I dont know? Is this post a rant or not ? I dont care! Will something be done to protect our accounts on gamigo? Dont hold your breath..................

Your account can only be protected by yourself. No matter what we do, pilots are always likely to tell their login information to clan member or "online friends".

To give you a clearer situation of the issue: Vondoom claimed that -nasher- hacked his account. I asked both vondoom and -nasher- to provide all details of their GAS account so it can be verified. -nasher- provided all details which was verified to be accurate by Gamigo. Vondoom could not even get the GAS account user name correct.

There is something else going on Vondoom is refraining from telling me since to create an gamigo PG account you must first create a GAS account for it. To admit how the account was obtained would result in a pilot suspension anyway as it would be against our terms and conditions. I'm 99% certain it was purchased from a player.

-nasher- may or may not be the original owner of the account. I can only verify with facts and will not be influenced by "witness" which count for nothing. I will not give access to an account from statements of ownership from people online.

The account was suspended because shady dealing from within that account which breaches our terms and conditions and it is not the first time i have come across him.

But Ventnor is right, make copies of all your GAS details and make sure you never tell anyone your details. Do not fall foul of people selling their accounts and then taking it back on a later date to resell. There are also many unscrupulous players trying to fraud you into believe that they can give you free stuff and emulating a high level GM saying he can do this if he logs into your account. Be safe and don't be foolish.

Breaching our terms and conditions always result in account suspension.

As for player account details im sure there is a lot of ppl out there that cant remember it all nor have they kept all the e-mails, me on the other hand I have call me paranoid or just cautious but hey.

Lots of ppl know vondoom and I have had the joy of being in the same clan as him for a long time, talking on ts on a daily basis, so I know who vondoom is and im also very certain of the fact that he did not sell his acc which he worked very hard on building up and spend loads of money on.

He also referred the matter to his local police but come on its a game and they wont take it serious.

This post was just to warn all players about what can happen. I speak with Vondoom just about everyday on TS3, and he has told me the account was stolen. Knowing Vondoom as I do, i believe him. He is very broken up that he will not get his account back. He has spend a lot of time and money building his account up and now it is gone.

I am not trying to place any blame here but to give you all a heads-up. If your account is stolen do not count on getting it back. Protect yourself, screen shot things as Ventnor has suggested. Do not give out your account information to anyone.

Oh, to ASDASD, it was requested that Vondoom file a police report by the powers that be.

If someone did hack the GAS account yes they would have the details but to brute force hack gamigo authentication servers requires a lot of effort that a professional hacker will not expend for a game that they can never make any gains from. Also it is impossible for the a hacker to hack their system without them knowing. Stopping a hack is hard but detecting it is easy.

Most likely for a stolen account information is that they use tried to install a pirate galaxy game hack or trainer which was actually a trojan that has skimmed his account info from him computer.

Like the police, I can only work with what evidence is presented to me and I can find myself. In-game pilot's word is not evidence. Hard data is. Keep all account information for future proof that an account is yours.

That very much aside, one would hope a person can remember their username and password to their accounts... I mean, it's not like he was being held down and told to recite it, he could go look it up, if he couldn't get the correct information then it probably wasn't his in the first place, despite what your 2 month or 1 year or whatever of friendship might tell you.
