Vega Noob killing Rules

What would the anti-noobing program be set as

Would it come up with a message saying you cant land on this planet with pirate mode on, Kinda the same message as when you try to land on a CQ with higher tech then the system the planet is in

Lvl 13 guy on baumar= Cheater with old account. They have unlocked mizar and so, you are allowed to shoot 'em.

Press the Prnt Scrn button on your keyboard.. usually located around the top right for most keyboards

Because maybe the noob will die in the blast radius of the strike and it will also be a spoiler of that there is actually an orbital strike weapon

Oh, come on! It's not like these forums and (almost) all the guides for PG contain all the missions, ships, weapons, etc... yeah, make sure you don't spoil it for the newbie that there is an ion cannon orbiting the planet you're on, waiting for you to plant a beacon so it can fire down the atmosphere and obliterate everything... but spoiling everything else is OK I guess.

Sorry guys, have to say 'and about time too'. What fun is there by killing noobs in Vega, only for them to say 'screw it' and go play something else ?? We need new players to join, for the good of the game.

Have seen plenty of noobs (and experienced players) with 'PM for XP only, don't shoot' in their sig, only for a higher lvl player to blast 'em as a way for them to get experience, just not the kind they wanted. I too had that sig when I started, thinking it would help. It did, after several poddings in my first few days, I very quickly learned never to turn it on except at CQ.

BTW Splitscreen, not every player in the game is a member of the forum, and so probably not aware of all the rules and regs, so maybe a quick visit to vega and explatations are in order ??

I never go to Vega with the intention of killing a noob. But once I was there in Antares, and a noob kinda attacked me verbally....when I was only trying to help him.....this got me pissed off...and I killed him in one shot...as he was RED.....lol

Not that I do any noob killing...but I dont kinda like rules on noob killing...why should we call ourselves Pirates if something like that is not allowed...??

Now enough with useless talk, getting down to one point which I really would like a GM to answer...

In the game, in the HELP menu, it is mentioned that Pirate Mode gives you more XP. Is this true??
I have heard that it is no longer true. Then why is it mentioned in the Help Menu?? Is this not cheating on part of PG...??

One of the MAIN reasons Noobs are in PM is because they think it will give them more and faster XP.
I am still not sure if this is really correct. But, if it is not, then remove it from the HELP menu. Then Noobs will not any more be in PM just like that...and then there is no need for any rules on noob killing....not to think of even developing a feature on Noob killing...which can save time and effort....)

Oh come on people, it dont take more than 3 active brain cells to figure out that Pirate Mode is a PVP mode. Anyone that reads anything other than that into it has the brain capacity cat happily chewing on a live extension corde. Im amazed that this is still even an issue. Its simple, If your in antares or higher, you cant kill Vega noobs. Its not rocket science.

People that have 'PM for exp only' . . now they make nice targets, just not in Vega. It specifies in the instructions on PM that it allows you to attack other players in PM. It doesnt take much of a jump of insight to figure out it works both ways. Yes, it does give a bonus to exp, thats all, the exp bonus is pathetic. Though XP only people make nice trophies on a wall. Anyone that would argue and scream they they werent in PM for any reason other than to pop pirates, well. please. Might as well stuff your head in the can and flush.

To answer to the screenshot question.

Press Ctrl +PrtSc button, open up any paint program you have on your computer.
Paste the screenshot to it. You can work on it by doing it a bit smaller, but beware that the chat will be readable still, and the names on players as well.

Then when you save the picture, name it and save in .png, .jpg, or .gif file, that you will be able to do from the format scroll down list.

Usually windows paint saves the graphic file in a .bmp, but it doesn't work on most of the forums, as it iust a huge file.

Then if you are not sending it in an email, but upload at the forum post, you will have to create an account as a site like eg. http://www.photobucket.com , it is a free, good and clean family site.
Upload your picture, and when it is done, you will have 4 different ways to copy and past.
Use the direct link if here at the forum, and click on Img button and past it in between, or paint the link, and click the button after that.

With this you should be now able to use screenshots for reports.

Adding on to what Dredd has already said, your in PIRATE MODE, obviously your going to get shot at, not that I kill these noobs but you have to have at least half a brain cell to expect these attack's, anyway these podding's made me more careful and aware in the future so it did me good,
