Updates... where are they?

I do not recall PG recieving any "big" update(s) ever since the release of Sirius, and that was released on October the 31st.. Last year. This year we have only received the occasional bug fixes and some events. I also remember A thread Astraeus opened about gathering the top ten issues that players have in-game a few months ago but we haven't heard anything new yet. Anyway, what I'm asking is.. Is/Are there any "big" update(s) planned for release any time soon? Thanks in advance.

ohh hi Tyrannus, thought u left game completely, yeah I am not sure about any major update, but I have heard some rumors here and there about something big happening, i am not totally sure what it might be or not, because, i heard lots of different things, but the thing i heard most is a arrival of a new system, I hope that's not the case, haven't reached 1.6 million cryonite yet , so I hope they wait lil xD, hope the ships there doesn't cost all to much either , so i hope it's no new system, ratehr some new feature in game... but rumors are rumors though

Hey ridoi. I kinda started out fresh on Solaria now.. but even then I'm still kinda losing interest (again!).

Anyway, Imho, a new system might be pretty good, but, like you, I'm rather hoping for a new feature (or features).

I've also noticed that the dev team are rather silent on any upcoming big updates, a bit too silent imho, so my guesses is that either they're working on something big... or they aren't working on anything.

Why they always try to make our lives miserable??? I mean it is obvious that they intentiously slow bp drop in next few days which caused much people to buy boosters. And now they increased number of bps that drop from green boss from 5/5 to 6/6 for completion. I mean, people, its only one bp that was odd number, now has to be even. I MEAN COME ON!!!!!!!

it doesn't suck it is a really fun based game, heavily pvp oriented. the Dev team isn't big, they try there best. It's not like they're a huge game creator company... they're just buds going together to make awesome games... And I suppose they got real time jobs to, they can't make enough living from PG... SL, nor DS... it's not like it's over 10.000 people playing the games, far less, and how many pays for stuff ? maybe 2/10 of all gamers, well not quite sure

That is not excuse for their sadistic behaviour. But its true what you say. Other popular games have up to 600 people working as medium or minor devs. Those games have also many players. Here, they dont need new stuff right now, maybe next year, but they need to little soft this game, or it will continue to drag kids off, and be played only by adults.

Ok now it appears that Sirius Speed Actuator is still 5/5. They changed something but what exactly, who knows? I will keep updating, ^^

it does suck look at the steal legions forums and the player base, same boring random missions over and over with a random players the game throes you together with, pvp is only there at certain times like a CQ

Now, back onto topic. I've been browsing the German forum (I was bored), and came across a thread similar to this, posting about how there aren't many updates.
Browsing that thread, I found this; CM Raick quoted something that Verimtor said (I can not guarantee that this information is accurate):

The rumors of Tau Ceti keep tenaciously. There are currently no planned another system that should be implemented in the foreseeable future. The main focus is on troubleshooting and fine-tuning of the existing content

New update is very good. They make HUD slider so we can access gravitons and drones without taking main weapons off screen, which is great help for people with bad PCs.

I might add that there is empty space in graviton box, so I think devs must develop new graviton. It should be black or white and it must be very very rare, like CQ BPs. It can kill all planet of enemies, Mantis, Pirate (all red pilots if graviton user is red), or Ancient with or without Giza. Then, he can have all cryo or other dropping on planet.

Hmm, seems like an alright update, not very helpful to those without a drone (other than the faster pc thing which seems good ) but nonetheless alright. My concern is that is this all that there is for this year? Or will there be some more updates? (or one big update?) It's been 10 months since Sirius (which was the latest big update that I can recall of), and I kind of expected something big. I hope this update is the start of something big. But I guess I under stand that you're all working on SL and DS, but you can't leave this awesome game out of the big updates! ^^. But then again I'm probably asking for too much hehe. :mrorange:. He also told me that there is only 30 people working on this game, while 600 of them is employed on some other games on Internet. I believe those must be in PG category as well. One more thing, why Viral colors BPs that previously were given for bringing buddies to the game, are now on sale for gold too? First Devs must finally resolve that bug with Rare Parasite Mantis so people can have all rare colors, and then to give us this to complete achievement when we find all rare colors. So, first make all bugs disappear and then update.

It's a wonder the game we love so much keeps going at all with so few devs working on it. I agree Razorkill that is insane!

I have no problem with farming. Cryo is only cryo. Its only important that some things that are now being bought for gold, start bought for cryo, even insane sums.

Yes that is true, Sniper colour is also buged, and what is worse you even dont know what Mantis to shoot.
