Some of you know me. I hold no alliance, only friends from many quarters.

I do not consider myself to be a hero, only a cautious pilot who enjoys the (sometimes fatal) challenge of delicately picking my way through the morass of mantis, keeping a close eye on the scanner so that I can stay just ouside their notice-range. If I can get to you I will do my best to nurse your pod and rebuild your ship around you. I only ask in return that you are patient with my slow progress to reach the wreckage of your pride and joy, that you are curteous and polite, and that you acknowledge the time and energy I expend in saving you from having to rely on system rescue facilities and having to make the long journey from the hangar back to your dropped cryonite.

There is great risk involved in getting to where your attention faltered and you were overwhelmed. Invariably, this place is where the tanks, storms and shocks of human space find difficulty in surviving. Consider my paper-thin engineer's ship, and the fact that if I fail to reach you it is unlikely that I will be able to retrieve my dropped cryonite so I suffer a double loss compared with you.

Thoughout my travels I have encountered many pilots who assume that engineers are there simply to serve them and to come at a moment's notice to do their bidding and to be paid with scant regard and little more than a brief "Thx". I keep a list of these pilots. They receive the benefit of my services exactly once.

And yet shall I remain an engineer.

Respectfully,

Zerukore

Heroes!

I will tell you what the real heroes of this game is,
they are not the high rank veterans who has all what lower ranks are only dreaming about.
They are not those who helps other people to complete their story missions, white missions, or helping players to get bp's,
well they are heroes, but not the greatest ones in this game.

Those who I am talking about, sometimes passes insignificant, but, gosh, they are so wanted and needed, and they are brave as no one else is in this game.

They confront the hugest dangers in the game, they go all voluntarily into the middle of a bunch of mantis that can kill them instantly, they even do that with ships what are lower rank than the starsystem ships where they are.

They don't even always get the credit where due, not all players remember even a simple word as Thank you, and they are not either appreciated always.
At CQ's, they are the first to be targeted as they try at all costs keep their clanmates alive, they are the worse threat to the opposite clan, but best friend to the own clan.

But bravely, they go through storms and dusts, ds's and paralyzators, just for to help another player in distress, they are,

Heroes called Engineers.

Engineers are the bravest kind of a player, and the most HEROES in this game.

Thank you all who has come to rescue me through my time of PG, I am well aware of all difficulties some of you have had when you came to the worse spots to give my life back, in your tiny sweet and fragile ship, but with a pilot full of courage and bravery as never seen before.

Long Live The Legendary ENGINEERS

Here, Here, Here!

Tryp I am quite chocked to see you posting MY story here, and you have not one reference, nor have you given any credit to whom the credit is due for to be author of this story, in this case me.
You just simply copy it, and saying "someone" wrote it doesn't give you the right to repost it here.
You should had ask me first if I agree for you to repost it with your name and request for my permission,
or ask me to repost this here myself. I am sure you saw I was the author of this story.

Namrud could you please remove this post from the forum.
I am sure many people knows this was a story written by me.
I myself will repost it at under my own thread with my own name.
Could you also move the comments from this thread to my post as well, I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you in advance.

Why not adding this story into Fan Section of the new forum like it was in the old forum? And yes, it's very rude someone posted your story earlier on the new forum without your permission.
