Today, there was an unscheduled maintenance on All servers throughout Pirate Galaxy. This was due to be completed at approximately 13h00 GMT +2. This however, ran extremely late.
Now I appreciate server maintenance and patches etc can be troublesome things and nothing ever runs according to plan, so most normal people would expect small delays now and then, perfectly understandable.
But what I find extremely bad, is the fact that, know one was kept informed about what was going on. People logged on today to find the servers down, no explanation other than maintenance untill 13h00 GMT +2, some considerable time after they were due back up, there was still no word from anyone about any of it.
So people were left twiddling their thumbs getting all hot and bothered about it all, ranting and raving which is human nature, because we like Information.
Their was at least one CM logged into the forum during this period, and a couple of game masters too.
Now I appreciate that the game masters are volunteers and all that, this is not the issue. Information is.
So a little more Information, transparency and customer service please Splitscreen, that would stop all the silly conspiracy theories, wild accusations, and over the top hostility from certain players.
