Tired of Waiting On Sirus

I Don't about You but here it is another Update and Sirus still not open. I for am very tired of waiting. There given no good information about it's and its not open. All i do anymore is grind so time to find a New Game to play I guess and No it will not be a game that has anything to do with SS.

Which appears official, it has the following down the bottom.

"You can start your expeditions by the end of October. We are very excited about this new chapter in Pirate Galaxy that will make playing the game much more dynamic and varied. Best, Your Pirate Galaxy Team."

In new to the game, so don't know if they have said things like that before, But from what i read, you dont actually have much longer to wait, just thought id share what i had found.

That link also has "Teaser" information. there's also a bunch more info via googling, but i don't know how accurate it would be, given that even the screenshot provided by expanding details on the PG Homepage are pixilated.

I don't know if you know, but i found this info via following the "bulletin board" in game.

I find it alot of work finding the information i want to find about this game, but it all seems to be there somewere.

It indicates its a web release, dated 08 September 2011 and says within the content.

"In addition to substantial content updates “The Sirius Singularity“ offers hundreds of new items, construction plans and numerous new spaceships in yet unseen shapes and designs. From October on players can explore the new territories accompanied by other players, the days of only linear missions are over. More than two years after the official launch Pirate Galaxy will soon offer numerous new thrilling missions."

The Longer time it takes the better it get, less bugs, if you can't wait for it, and want it really quick, you will see the place 2 times or even more worse then draconis

I have pretty much given up on this game. The endless grinding does my head in. I really have not played much in the past month. I might come back on this weekend and finish up my last few missions in, LOL, cannot even remember the name of the current system. Well, finish up there in case I want to carry on at some point but the endless grinding and boring CQs has pretty much put an end to this game for me.

I will miss the friends I have made, a few of the good enemies (Heriiwax being the best one) as well, good group of guys and girls. I wish you all good hunting.

As a new user, still deciding weather to invest in this game, Your view is interesting to me. Although ive happily played many MMORPG's were grinding is a big part of game play happily for many years your comments give me a couple of questions.

Is there no PvE events in this game? Or have you just done them all?

Are the PvP Events not that fun, not that common, or have low participation?

Are you in a "small" timezone like me, were finding others in game is unlikely, and my gaming is often impaired by "low activity" server events, like maint and restart issues?

When i say PvE events, i mean large, difficult, work together for great reward events, like the instances in some other games were you need to get 20 - 40 alliance members to work through an area for "special" bps.

I read an area (Maybe outdated) that indicated there was a 3rd bp, Gold, Blue, Purple, I assumed purple was from larger alliance based events of some sort later in the game.

I know my questions "answers" will possibly change drastically as the singularity is released, as it claims a totally new experience, But im miles away from that lol

Lets try & answer your questions 1 at a time:

Q: Is there no PvE events in this game? Or have you just done them all?
A: The PvE in PG consists of doing Story & White Missions or just plain old Grinding

Q: Are the PvP Events not that fun, not that common, or have low participation?
A: PvP happens on Colossus & Dante quite often. If neither Planet is currently open you may ask to have them opened. These are for PvP Action. The Game itself is also considered PvP if you are Rank 10 or Higher & choose to go "RED" or turn on Pirate Mode

Q: Are you in a "small" timezone like me, were finding others in game is unlikely, and my gaming is often impaired by "low activity" server events, like maint and restart issues?
A: Askone & Kalgan are in the GMT +1 Time Zone - Solaria & Aeria are in the GMT -5 Timezone - there is lots of action on all Servers, However Aeria's Population is quite low

A: There are 2 types of BPs to collect - Standard (Blue) & System (Gold). Long ago there was also Purple (Actually Pinkish) but it was removed

Im askone and +12, maybe its the areas im in that have lower activity , or i suppose it could be that no-one wants to talk to me lol.

From the small amount i have read on the PvP events, it seems like those are a PvP version of an instance, Sounds like fun.

I better pay more attention to the story line if thats the scope of PvE lol, I was trying to rush my way through to get to the end game content

An error so many players does, rush through to get to the last system.
The game is not going anywhere, and try to stop, breath, and enjoy it with time.
This is the reason why so many higher players becomes bored of it as they rush through the new systems what is arriving, then they are left with nothing to do.

There is plenty of things to do.

But this really has a story line, and it is interesting

I hope you do find the answers to all your questions, and there is some more clearance in it with time.

Now I want to add to previous replies by Astraeus, and add the newiest BP color we have, Cyan, my font color I use. This is a bp what drops only for clanmembers (just as logfiles) a bp what is meant for the Clan Conquest ship, some people call it rare, and some normal, or cq bp, it goes straight to the Clan inventory, and not to our player one..
These are items to upgrade the standard ones what are already installed.

For me they are always rare, as they are very difficult to drop.

Idk but I rlly dint rush any systems and stilil I completed it fast but im not the one who starts whining then but I help othee poeple do the same :mrorange:
And even tho I started pg 4 days after release and still love/play it each day if I can

Astraeus i think u forgot the 3rd bp colored cyan and its for the CQ ship.

also@Adrana
players choose whatever they can get fun out of a game. they even tend to find something to enjoy (b it even for short time) in less qualitative games.
so trying to speculate tht its players fault cause the game isnt fun after a limited game time sounds absurd to me.
if u wanna speculate speculate tht the game designers should adjust their game to the "demand" and add content tht isnt limited timewise and can b enjoyed over and over, or just accept its a "limited" game not care if veterans leave and never return and try sell the product to the new generation (some just out of diapers cause for them the game is still "new")
but blaming the players ?!......tsk tsk Adrana not everyone has dilated masochistic tendencies to sit around vega forever and try finish EVERYTHING there, some dont care bout aceivement some dont care for golds etc.
+an average player is tought (at least imo) to try and win or b better/best in a game tht includes being "time efficient" so i dont really get the logic in trying to play worse.
