The other perspective about remnant update(feedback)

There are multiple issues connected to this update which probably wasn't expected by developers to happen. I will point out my point of view about them.

To understand my position i am coming from, i am a player who can't do these remnant carrier bosses without being destroyed by groups of players and i got 5 or more friends with me who are PvE oriented casual players, who got excited to try this update but they just gave up... I decided to be solo ganker instead, sabotaging groups doing these bosses with just playing pvp without mission. I became "bounty hunter"... kind of...

Whole idea of having open map contested, objective, mass pvp was good idea. Limiting players to use only system ships with pirate mode. However it was done without consideration of mass pvp happening in very low population game. GM Hydraxon mentioned during OTB time, there was 70 people online(Askone server)....just 70...its not 700 nor 7000. Most of those 70 players do not have this new update unlocked yet so there are around 30 players who can do this update on Askone.

Pirate mode got overwritten by buddy/alliance/clan. It completely removed idea of people contesting objective but instead it made majority united. This is what we could see on Snowman boss during xmas event. Most players picked engineer ships giving each other repair targets and protectors, that is what pirate galaxy was all about. All those story missions, all things in sirius was done with unity and supportive community. But issue is why is pirate mode still there? If none fight each other, what is the idea of it? Pirate mode being a tool for legalized harassment where 4 squads pod people without group, who aren't even shooting back. Pirate mode requires rework or deletion.

There are also players who did mission "Face off" but do not want to participate in pvp. It is not rewarding for them to shoot boss while other red players shooting them denying them bp and wasting their time. Those players will either quit or just wait months or even years when none will contest these carrier bosses.

Ganker position is also not rewarding at all. There is no bounty system which directly rewards you for poding other players and it is understandable why it got removed as it can get abused in many ways. There are almost no players who do not pick "carrier boss hunt" mission and hunt other players who do these bosses. I did for some time, i managed to sabotage few players here and there, i poded almost always. I made some people salty. I got nothing of it.

Being forced to buddy people who you had on block list just because of common goal is unacceptable. So either remove pirate mode completely or just make everyone red to each other regardless of buddy/clan/alliance when using pirate mode. So if someone wants to be a pirate, they can be.

15 minutes despawn when carrier boss is out of combat is also too long, i tried to sabotage big groups by despawning yellow carrier bosses with good drops but instead i did them a favor, i found boss for them and made myself a fool. They are killing these bosses in less than 5 minutes so it is easy for them to reach next boss.

Hyper jumps.... i know i know.... "just buy membership" but this update enforcing you to hyper jump just to catch a boss or be in time to gank people who do these bosses is too much, its not fun. Maybe allow players with remnants unlocked to use less energy for hyper jumps or to get more value from energy orbs.

Ship swap and drone swap also takes a lot of time, how about allowing drones to be on all ships(QoL?).

I did some of these carrier bosses at night, either alone or with a friend, almost every boss is stun+orbital spam, what is counterplay? Why there is no specific mechanic which rewards skill and punish mistakes? Having a buddy to prot me when i am stunned sounds like the way but what when boss stuns all of us? What do we do if boss cast stuns without any indicator or cooldown? Same with orbital strikes...anytime i get closer to a boss it is forcing disengage, dps drops, really not fun.

BP drop rate is ok, more effort... more BPs. But maybe let people with bp boosters to get more bps instead?
