After 5 weeks of work
The All-New Hitchhiker’s Guide to Pirate Galaxy
is finally out !!

- Rewritten from scratch with Expression Web and VisualLightBox
- Streamlined design (XHTML, JS , CSS, DHTML)
- User-friendlier navigation
- Yet more infos
- Compatible with standards XTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.1
- browser compatibility checked with Dreamweaver CS5
(runs fine with IE 8, little problems with other browsers. Invisible layers don't allow mouse clicks through them.)

a great website- can i just point out the fact that you have put:

plantesystems

instead of

planet systems

in the side panel.


also... a lot of the tabs at the side dont seem to be working- for example the arrow next to "repair droids" in the blueprints section... perhaps this is just my computer?

You have taken out the ability to see ship prices and names on the player ship list... I can only see pictures.

Im gonna correct "Plantesystems"

However, I have no problems clicking all BPs and Ships, popping open all ship infos. I am using IE8.
I googled a bit and found that Firefox seems to have problems with XTML 1.0 and CSS?
My brother is just confirming same problems you have with Firefox 3.6.
These issues bother me. Why can't things be easy
I have compatiblity checked all my code against XTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.1 rules. Not much I can do

ok good to know its firefox and not the web page. Perhaps you could put a message warning players that it must be opened with IE?

I think you have made the wiki redundant

Sry guys but we cant find the problem why works only in IE to 100% again.
V1 used a new webpage program but some Popup and mousehover feature doesnt works in FF.

Of course, The Hitchhiker's Guide has ever only been a one-man efford, whereas many ppl may contribute to the Wiki. And yet, a fair share of the Wiki data has been sorced from the Hitchhiker and it's always been my pleasure to share

I can see a lot of work has gone into this my only gripe is that the colour info that scrolls down with you misses the last line I can see magenta colour and thats about it and I am using IE8.

One thing to add if possible is the sell prices for the BPs other than that fantastic work well done.

This suggests to me that you only use 700 pixels resolution in Y direction. Presuming your screen can display more than that, please simply increase your browser window size by a mere 150 pixels... et voilà, you see it all. Hope that helps.

One thing to add if possible is the sell prices for the BPs other than that fantastic work well done.

Selling a BP always gives you 50% refund. I thought it'd be a bit too trivial to add an extra column for that. Nonetheless, adding a little note to the sliding info panel is a good idea.

You could put a best viewed at screen resolution as well than as well as IE8 and it should be higher than that but I will check.

After all my lovely children did set it up one day as 800x600 and 16 colours, with the screen upside down.

I did just that :mrorange:

recommended display resolution is XGA (1024x768) or better. At XGA you might want to press F11 to switch the IE into full screen view.

V1-Hyper, check the repair droid list please,

R7&8 sentinels drop the standard on axiom

R9&10 sentinels drop the enhanced on lyris

R11 sentinel drop the power on aurora

R13 sentinels drop the enhanced power on aurora

and menders do not drop them anymore.
