Tau Ceti Issues - Beta Test or what?

6-7 hours to complete an sm, that's ridiculous, how many players can actually stay online for that long? i know i cant, so i guess i wont be doing them and that leads to my next question, if players dont finish the sms do they get to do the next episode when it comes out and do they benefit from those who have completed and voted?

it might of been less but some players did go afk for food ect but i would say you are looking at around 4-5hours thats going at it with no breaks this is why we think it was bugged to many manits best ships for it one engi 4 legions every one can mat each other plus even before you get to the 300+ manits you have to fly around the map looking for senors that will take you to 75% then your hours of killing takes you to 85% put the base to half hp it teleports away hit orbit mission complete long and boring zzzzzzzzzzz just hold out for the rebalance probably come next week or so the mission are still a bit buggy we just did it as a test and it was and wasn't worth it lol

How long time did you let it load, cause this happens always when you do land on a new planet.
when you have managed, the 2nd time will be pulled out of game memory and has a normal landing time.

It took very long time for me to to land the first time, I just left it to load and did something else meanwhile.
It depends on your Internet connection, if you are faster or slower, mine is slower.

I agree with oggro, in m opinion tau ceti is a complete waste of time and until they change it or the voting changes it i will be staying in sirius where you actually get stuff for killing npcs.


The 1 good point about tau ceti is it makes sirius look good lol

Who else think it´s to hard? Can´t be true that it´s not possible without a lot of gravs and boosters. Sirius ancient tech squads not really doing the trick. What´s about another update like with second sm?
Don´t make the same mistakes like begin of Sirius again please. Means make it so hard that a lot of pilots stop gaming.

I understand that the system may have bugs but seriously no tech no exp and the cryo is crap we need Exp better cryo or maybe even some tech pardon my language but hell I don't care if its low system tech I don't even care if i cant use it yet but tech would be nice

Seems the way they choose to slow us down maximaly they still use. I think exacly like yoi, its dead end. By making this game for harcode/maniac gamers they cant except there will stay normal players who have his own life. Im thinking about yourself as hardcore player, but since i wokr i cant spent here enought time required to make some progress. I remember how in draco times there were troubles with finding ppl to do SM like Turret attack , full sq + the best someone to kill DS. PPL quit this game waiting for ppl needed to finish squadron SM. After opening number of players being on-line begun drasticly decreased, so on hive it was very bad. Now when i see that all SM need in TC full SQ and even help from other SQ from outside, i have realy bad fealing about this game. My work not let me to maintain contacts with ppl from game, cant be in the best hours when the most ppl are online, so the only way for me seem is real to find another game.
I think the worst thing in this game is forcing ppl to do normal things together in groudp especialy when they are taking so long time. Definitely they made game for ppl without life

I was pleased from difficuality of Draco SM, but that was times when i had lots of time, not worked etc.. Now thig game is almost not possible to play even when i want.

i agree lord cougar, i was getting bored with sirius and found myself logging off more and more but i still kept logging in because i knew tau ceti was coming and hoping that the game would get exciting again but what we got was a huge disappointment and now i'm logging in even less, i dont get the time to do an sm that takes 5+ hours to complete, hopefully when the next episode comes it'll be worth playing.

well i thought it could never get worse then sirius, and after the reaction to sirius and all we wanted was a normal system again, after 1.5 years of nothing they come with this.

I don't blame you it is out of hand now. Get a new system and BUGS...try to log in and client won't load..go to browser and nothing SS you going to lose a lot of players AND paying customers including me!

Hey personally I dont mind I got other games to keep me busy while the bugs and other things are sorted out but it's odd and unusual then again being up with the top level players and being in the highest system available is different I'm used to moving up with room to spare systems higher than where im at now I am at the top with no wheres to go yea i could start over on another server at square one but too much invested in solaria money and time not to mention all the people i fly with are on solaria Devs did a great job other wise funniest thing ive seen in the history of pg happened in tau ceti A rare mantis spawned and within a 10 second time frame The pirates that we fight as npc had found and killed it.

Well, lets see, The first time I tried, I sat in the loading screen for about 15 minutes. The second time was about 5 and the third I was not sure. I tried the next day and went off and did some chores around the house and came back almost an hour later and was still in the loading screen. Unless I am running on a dialup 14.4 modem(Sarcasm), I would think it would load before an hours time. I even had a GM teleport me to the planet where I also just sat in the loading screen for some time.

Red Nova, no point in going to tau ceti, it's waste of time, most of my clan, me included, went for the 1st few days then realised there is no point so we are all staying at sirius, 5+ hours to complete an sm with a full squad, no thanks.

nacho why the urgency to get to tau ceti, you'll be hugely disappointed when you do get there.
