I know a good idea... Make armor and items work the same as they do in pvp. I want to use my vega ship to shoot ancients. Since vega ships can pod player ancient ships now i want to fight lvl 82 ancients in my vega ship now aswell.... And when a sirius ship goes to vega he needs to shoot the mantis for the same time a vega player would. I think mantis deserve a fighting chance instead of being onsehotted my sirius equipment! :sneaky:

That way we can remove loot reduction as a whole and sirius players can help vega players with their myst in missions! Great plan

If u fixed aggrobeacon and taunt a bit that will put black granite and terrorizor and dominator in a better spot then. I quote some of ur amazing poem in the description of the 'Standard Aggrobeacon'

Let the red mist of anger descend! The Mantis will hate this beacon more than anything imaginable. They will no longer care about you, as only the destruction of this beacon will be on their minds.
This suggests that aggrobeacon will always be the main target. It would be great if the aggrobeacon held its words. Same goes for taunt.
And just for fun cos i realy like these descriptions here is another beautifull one ;). And that being said sirius items lack these beautifull words. But never mind that dont waste time on those things. I quote the 'AM Synapse Aggrobeacon'

Btw don't forget to add these items to sirius drops:

  • Mizar strong/normal/rapid sniperblaster, attack droit, os and buff.
  • Mizar Strong/normal/rapid Attack field turret, repair turret, sticky bomb and mine.
  • Sol strong/normal/rapid Attack field turret, repair turret, sticky bomb and mine.

Btw dont forget to add this to 100% membership aswell
  • No drone energy cost

100% membership is expensive enough, i think we should get no energy cost on drones for that expensive booster aswell.

Completely agree with you there flyfighter. If you pay for the 100%, then it should indeed be 100% ^^

Yes I do agree also, materializing already takes too much having to feed drones with that is just working on my nerves when I want to just take some hours just shooting stuff and not having to worry about getting energy to feed my drones and such.

Attack Droid Cooldown

The attack droid has 4 minutes and 48 seconds cooldown from when you activate it. That is kinda ridiculous is it not?

Uptime attack droids:

  • Ancient: 1min48 seconds
  • Strong: 1min12 seconds
  • Long: 2min45 seconds

Most likely a attack droid does not live longer then 1 minute or so due to AOE damage or just due to regular sillyness attack droids perform. So after he died that will give you a 3 minute and 48 second cooldown window!!

I dont think this new cooldown system works for attack droid or protector/shield. When they get shot down you sit there waiting a decade for your item to come back. I hope you change something about this, might aswell not use a attack droid. Its not much fun if u have to wait this long for a item. Even the strong attack turret has long cooldown but that is something with high utility so i realy realy hope you have a good look at this attack droid and give him atleast a minute or 2 less cooldown.

Hmm yes though while on the topic of silliness, lets think about hmmm...

SNIPER BLASTERS!!!!

Now don't get me wrong but the cooldowns are great the damage is perfect, I think we have all noticed that shots from sniper blasters hit the target and go right through out the opposite side, what if this action had a catch? Logically if that was in real life it would damage something behind it no? So c'mon make those penetrating shots damage targets behind the original target.

Look it shouldn't do the same damage to the target behind it just slightly less. this would make maybe grinding easier for ships like the hunter and the emperor parsec, and I think we could all agree that those blasts penetrating through something and damaging the target behind it too would look pretty awesome. ;)

I love sniper blasters. they are one of my favourite weapons in the game. they could use some actual physics behind it though. think this over, personally I think that it would be a great idea.

This is just my opinion, so I would love some imput, but I believe that picking up cryonite should be removed, and replaced with a bounty system where you get a certain amount of cryonite based on the mantis type and level that you kill. I believe this will stabilize the economy and make it easier for new players to grind cryonite. I love this game, but the one issue I have is the horribly long grind for a complete Sirius ship. I also think that Parsec class ships are severly over-priced for what they give in return.

I agree. The price jump from Ancient Ships to Parsecs is just far too much. I mean, it takes About 1.7 Million Cryonite to build a useable Ancient Ship, but it takes almost 5 million to build a Parsec that is only slightly more effective in the same system. What is your basis for this kind of economy?

I have spent alot of time grinding cryonite in the game, due to my bad habit of selling ships, so I'm pretty used to grinding, and it's hard, even with the boosters. Boosters seem most effective in Sirius, where the drops are large. For example, until recently, the most I could seem to grind at a relatively stable pace was 20,000 cryonite per hour with the 45% booster and drone boost of 10% on mars harvs. The Parsec, with full armor and Ancient tech costs 3'671'592 cryonite. That's 183.5 hours of grinding, and thats only if it holds at 20k per hour. That's 22 days, playing 8 hours a day non-stop. Thats a ridiculous amount of time and effort for one ship. It's seems severly unfair for lower lvl players too.

The part they need to work on is i think making it more fun to grind in order for us not to temp to log off. They're slowly getting there.

Try grind again, all numbers have changed and now i can even get 30k/hour on lustra without crybooster. But we could use some different types of grinding our crynite. Maybe some repeatable missions that grant you cry each time or minigame like arkon (only more fastpaste) but with cry rewards. Colossus is already nice if u end up in the rankings.

Also, I believe that the best way to sort out the grinding issue is to have all harvesters drop 100%, and then have a reduction on the amount you recieve bases on ship/tech lvl. For example a Sol r60 ship on mars having a 20% reduction in amount recieved, rather than drop chance reduction, because that system is very irritating. For example I can go to mars and hit r45 harvs in Drac ship and drop cry 3 out of 5 harvs, then all of a sudden, no cry for 15-20 harvs. Its very inconsistent and I think that alot of players hate it, but if you drop from harv everytime, even with a reduction it would feel better. ofc you would stop interceptors from dropping cry, then players could grind harvs in the shock and engi ships too :) maby have all the inters drop at the same time for added challenge in upper systems :)

if every harv and all inters dropped 100% , each R26 harv would yield 490 cryo. on average. 30,000/490=61.2 Over 61 harvs every hour and that's IF they dropped 100%. Maybe you want to clarify what you are shooting .

I've been trying to grind Harvesters again after the update. Using the Sol Sniper on Molikar, I get around 35k an hour with only the Drone boost on. Honestly it's improved a bit over what it was, pretty sure I needed a cryo booster to even get those levels before, without I would do about 22-25k before the update.

So with membership and a 33% cryo booster, you should hit at least 45-50k an hour. Remember the Parsec ships are meant to be special, the premium ships. Unless Tau comes out and parsecs are required for some reason, then they might need a reduction in price.

Parsecs aren't currently required for any content, they make things easier with better tech combinations, but not required.
