Just a quick one.
How is a player of level 35 in a LVL 25 ship supposed to complete the above mantioned mission. 4 attempts at it now and still dont get anywhere near finished, i think that 20 mantis vs 1 player is a bit much and also they hit too hard, then you get the Death squad followed by another Death squad, I mean come on give a pilot a break here.

I have been informed that higher ranking ship are no longer allowed to do lower ranking missions and thats just fine, but at least lower the strength of the mantis or reduce the number of them.

I have just tried it with a buddy in an engineer ship and we still could not do it!!!

and all this for 446 cry i mean come on

Yeah, not an easy mission and virtually impossible to do alone. Had a squad of clan mates when I did it (some time ago), and this was before the same-system-ships rule so we had plenty of firepower available. All I can suggest is get a full squad together and keep plugging away at it.

Why not try in squad? It's a hard mission and it needs an engi

simple take help from a higher lvl engie thats protecting you outside squad when you kill in peace!! ok maybe not in peace but its easier if a mizar engie heals and protects you when you do the missions

I was out squad with Sol Engy, this ok to keep Missionee alive but not the little ship he has to follow around. the problem was about 75% of mish after collecting part no.3 we were heading out to no.4 when a whole swarm of rockets and paras' came down and blatted the little ship, at the time I was poppin ordinary planet mants

It is not that hard, I have helped several players with this mission us being only 2 in squad, and other missions in my Gemini ship and tech, before I had the rare Engineer ship, I helped with my Gem. Storm, and it has worked out just fine. This is a matter of skills and planning.
How do you think we all high ranks on Earth has completed all SM's till Earth completed with our proper ships and tech from the system?

Just see how many of us has completed that mission, aka all who are on Mizar and beyond.

i know im on earth....but not lvl 60 yet so im only lvl on moon untill im lvl 55 when i go higher because better weapons

-i don`t understand either why these mandatory storymissions has to be a torture instead of fun? -i see no fun in loading more mantis in the missions than the pilots can handle.

Because the Story missions are not meant to be easy, they are a challenge to the pilot,
if they feel it is too hard, then they are just not ready for it yet.
That means go back and train to play the game, learn to play it, and be an experienced pilot.

Now it seems all low ranks try to achieve everything faster instead of getting proper rank for the missions.

This is what I like with the rank restrictions with items/ships, you can't be too low to equip them.
This is also the issue what makes people think they are too hard to do, it's because they cannot have any higher rank items.

You can do like allot of ppl find first all the rare from the system and do then all the story missions

i think what adrana sayd actually was treu...... how come u cant finish it and i can ? with just same ships as u i do have the x engineer tho but it doesnt rlly makes much difference :mrorange:
