stop the engines 2. landing pads

ok so the last post went nowere, so im posting this in the ideas section. why not make landing pads around the maps like, i dont know.. say. 3 landing pads sourounded on around each planet. this will make a new button that enables you to land the ship on the ground, i think you get the idea now..and its not limited to how many players can land on it..

i think you missunderstood, i dont mean landing pads that enable you to land on the planet from orbit, i mean landing pads to keep your ship still in a safe zone, while your afk or something

If the rebels set up landing pads on strategic locations, wouldn't the Imperials just destroy them?

Besides, i like hover mode more.

Yep it's a Game you play not go AFK for hours and come back to your little pad.
I say do as the rest of us, Find a semi safe zone and log out if you need to go do something.
Or just go to orbit. We don't need landing pads for AFKer's..

i like the idea for 2 reasons it means u can go AFK and ur sqaud can still land on u and it means u can stay in postion while ur AFK so u don't have to go from Orbit to the other side of the map.

In other words, you prefer the original concept of an anchor sort of thing, as do I. But AFK pads are just absurd.

This game doesn't need to be easier, if you can't get somewhere on a map you shouldn't be there.

just a thought i had while i was on Axiom but have landing pads in certain areas of the map were u land and ur pilot jumps out were then u control the pilot, do combat with the Mantis/Imperials on foot. If u get killed u get cry deducted as Medical Fee's, if u don't, well i don't know. Hope i turned this in to a better idea.

That's awesomeness, but how long would it have to take to implement this and make it look good?
