This was suggested once by me before a couple of years ago, but I have improved on it since then, hopefully.

I originally thought of this idea when i first entered Sol and, seeing Mantis Assassins with their Crypsis ability, thought it would be fair if we could use the same technology, but for shorter periods of time rather than forever. The item set for the stealth class would be similar to that of an engineer and tank class, with a few modifications to make it more suited to stealth purposes. Due to the absence of Assassins, this class would be for Sol and up.

Ship Blueprints
Sol
STAM-X Stalking Stealth. Would drop from;
Mantis Assassin (RARELY)
Mantis Harvester

Draconis
META-06 Stealth.
Obtain from SM 'Weaponised Methanoids', like all other META-0_ ships.

META-SX06 Stealth (Event). Would drop from;
Special Event NPC?

5. Crypsis Target* - Makes a single Clan/Squad mate , or yourself, stealthed for 20s (Same as Rep Target). Would drop from;
Mantis Assassins(Sol/Draconis),
Mantis/Imperial/Methanoid/Pirate Medium Strength Unit (Sirius)(Tier 1(Same as Repair Target Tier)
Abasis, Ignomes, Odion (Sol - Sirius Ancient/Strong/Rapid)

6. EM (ElectroMagnetic) Modifier - Reduces the hit rate of a target, but to less of a standard than an Aim Scrambler, as well as increasing the chance to hit that target, but to less of a standard than an Aim Computer.
Would drop from;
Mantis Assassins(Sol/Draconis),
Mantis/Imperial/Methanoid/Pirate Strong Unit (Sirius)(Tier 2(Same as Aim Scrambler/Computer Tier)
Anubis, Keops, Osiris, DS Commander (Sol - Sirius Ancient/Strong/Rapid)

7. Crypsis Field* - Similar to Crypsis Target, but stealths all (Not including yourself) around you for 13.5s (Same as Rep Field).
Would drop from;
Imperial Rep Node(Sol),
Mantis Mender (Draconis),
Mantis/Imperial/Methanoid/Pirate DS Commander/Boss Unit (Sirius)(Tier 3(Same as Repair Field Tier)
Giza (Sol - Sirius Ancient/Strong/Rapid)

8. Aggro Pulse - Opposite to Aggrobomb. Deals less damage in a similar radius to Aggrobomb, but repels Mantis/Imperials/etc. from attacking you for 5-10s**.
Would drop from;
Mantis Detonator (Sol/Draconis),
Mantis/Imperial/Methanoid/Pirate DS Commander/Boss Unit (Sirius)(Tier 3(Same as Aggrobomb Tier)
Giza (Sol - Sirius Ancient/Strong/Rapid)

*Crypsis level is the same as a Mantis Assassins', you can still be seen and shot at, but hostiles wont attack you unless you attack them first (while stealthed).

** Different effect in PvP. Players in the blast radius can't attack the Aggro Pulse user for 5s.

Blueprint Names
Sol
-STAM-X Stalking Stealth (Rare X-Ship)
-Sol Stalker Crypsis Target
-Sol Signature EM Modifier
-Sol Seclusion Crypsis Field
-Sol Striking Aggro Pulse

Draconis
-META-06 Stealth (Regular Ship)
-META-SX06 Stealth (Event X-Ship)
-Draconis Disguiser Crypsis Target / ZP Reverse Glow Crypsis Target (R63) / ZP Eclipse Cloak Crypsis Target (R65)
-Draconis Denaturing EM Modifier / ZP Lunar Storm EM Modifier (R63) / ZP Gamma Pulse EM Modifier (R65)
-Draconis Deceiver Crypsis Field / ZP Reverse Glow Crypsis Field (R63) / ZP Eclipse Cloak Crypsis Field (R65)
-Draconis Diversion Aggro Pulse / ZP Cowardice Blast Aggro Pulse (R63) / ZP Tremor Rift Aggro Pulse (R65)

Other blueprint names follow the pattern of all other blueprints in the game;
Zero Point (R58), ZP Power (R60), Oolyte (R73), Dolomyte (R76), Clay (R79) Kenyte (R82), and Ancient/Strong/Rapid (R85)

Notes on the custom icons
-The only design that is truly unique is the 7.Crypsis Field. All the others are based off of other equipment icons
-5.Crypsis Target uses the tanks Shield icon for a base, but with the ship and inside being 'whitened' out to show a holographic effect inside the 'shield'. The rare Shield icon was used for the regular Crypsis Target as the green will symbolize the ground.
-6.EM Modifier uses the tanks Aim Scrambler icon for a base, but the flares (or whatever they are) are joined to make a ship type look against the 'static' in the Aim Scrambler background.
-7.Crypsis Field uses the engineer's Repair Field for inspiration instead of a base, and follows the same colour scheme as Crypsis Target.
-8.Aggro Pulse uses the tank's Aggrobomb icon as a base, but the bomb is modified to look like a ship. This was done to make a relation to the second effect of the Aggro Pulse.

Any suggestions for the class. Leave them below and I will work on improving it.

Thanks for reading,
Dark_Shadow, Askone.

Edit 01 - 10/6/12 - Tried taking Draconis into account, will need more accurate info on what appears in Sirius before I can attempt to determine what should drop it there.

Edit 02 - 17/06/12 - Attempt at adding Sirius drops using the tier system on PG Prelude

Edit 03 - 23/06/12 - Added PvP effect of the Aggro Pulse

Edit 04 - 07/08/12 - Biggest update for this WIP yet. Added 'Ancient' drops, again using information from PG Prelude. Changed 6.Jammer to 6. EM Modifier, and added a second effect to it. Added names for the blueprints (If it does get implemented) :D . Also added Ship Names and drop locations. Modified Grammar and Ordering in place.

Edit 05 - 08/08/12 - Added custom designs for the equipment icons, as well as notes on them.

Well nice ideas but you have to take in your attention what might be beyond the SOL system. In Draconis there is no Rep field nodes anymore, and even less in Sirius.

Sol is the last and only system where these exists.
Maybe you should progress, reach Draconis to get a bit better idea for all players/ships what there is, and what there is not anymore.

You cannot make ideas with bases of items/buildings what exist in lower systems for the higher systems before you have seen it all.
That idea would be true but only on SOL.

See what you got ahead of you, and get back to your idea when you have knowledge of all systems. :D

Keep on with nice ideas.

remember that there are enough sites like V1-Hypers and the wiki which will tell you what enemies to expect in what system.
