I wouldn't call Vicious Darth vader. Darth vader is more mysterious-ish, and in the end he turns to the good side, but vicius is a maniac with a oversized ego.

To be totally honest if the Yuuzan Vong invaded OUR known galaxy we will be been beaten back with our tails between our legs.

Yes we might be able to stand up against the Imperial might, but you are forgetting one major point

How can you stand up against the power of the Emporar and Darth Vader if the decide to use the force.

We have nothing to protect us against that

We would just end up being crushed inside our ships

As for the Zahn Consortium they wouldnt stand a chance against us They still use the imperial technology.

Still it would be nice to have a couple of snowspeeders so that we can wrap cables around the Mantis plus our very freindly co-pilot Dax

oh god i knew this would happen...now we're in star trek vs star wars territory...
the empire would smish the federation, they have much better weapon, shields, ships, and their hyperdrives would mean they would be able to jump wherever they want in our galaxy and launch surprise attacks on systems...

Vicius: Boba Fett?
Exactly ^^

And what about the borg?

They are classed as level 3 Civilisation after all, while the Mantis/Federation/Empire/Imperials are Class 2, and the UCF would probably be somewhere around 1,5.

Even the Empire did invade PG noone would know what class of Stardestoyers and Super Stardestroyers there bringing and there would be at least 10,000+ TIEs which include TIE Fighters, TIE Bombers, TIE Phantoms, TIE Avengers, TIE Defenders, TIE Interceptors, TIE Scout, TIE Shuttle, TIE/D Fighter, TIE/fc Fighter, TIE/gt Fighter and TIE/rc Vangaurd. The 2 Super Stardestoyers would probably be either Executer class, Eclipse class, Sovereighn Class etc. and the 1000 Stardestroyers there would be hell loads of classes.

Admiral Giel's flagship
Main article: Admiral Giel's flagship
This Super Star Destroyer had a similar design to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer, only much bigger. It had a bridge tower that extended towards the stern of the vessel. Here, it was fitted with a massive holding cage to be able to transport a Teezl across the galaxy, to be used as an instant communications device at Imperial Center.[48] Despite being damaged in an attack by Rebel fighters, the vessel continued to function and even attempted to down enemy fighters.[49]

The Aggressor
Main article: Aggressor (Super Star Destroyer)
A Super Star Destroyer that patrolled the Inner Rim Territories, before being appropriated by Grand Admiral Josef Grunger for use as his flagship shortly after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. Destroyed at the Battle of Tralus in 6 ABY.[50]

The Allegiance
Main article: Allegiance (Super Star Destroyer)
The Allegiance was a SSD that acted as a communications vessel at the Battle of Mon Calamari during Operation Shadow Hand. It resembled the Imperial-class SSD and had no visible launch bays.[40]

The Aramadia
Main article: Aramadia (Super Star Destroyer)
The Aramadia was an Imperial SSD that was captured by the Yevethans and acted as one of Nil Spaar's flagships during the Yevethan Purge in 16-17 ABY. Following the Battle of N'zoth and the end of the Purge, it was towed to N'zoth and used as a museum. In top-down profile, it resembled the Imperial-class Star Destroyer.[51]

The Arc Hammer
Main article: Arc Hammer
At least 9.6km long, almost half as long as an Executor-class Super Star Destroyer, the Arc Hammer was essentially an armed factory ship that also served as a command ship for the Dark Trooper Project. The design was very sleek compared to other Super Star Destroyers (similar only to Jerec's ship), and noteworthy for a large quadruple tower structure protruding from the dorsal and ventral side in the general area of the bridge structure. Dorsal bays could launch the ship's complement of Dark Troopers onto a target in a combat drop. The Arc Hammer was destroyed from within by Kyle Katarn's sabotage.[52]

The Dominion
Main article: Dominion
The Dominion was a Super Star Destroyer that served in the Imperial Remnant around 41 ABY. It participated in the First Battle of Roche and was defeated by a fleet of starfighters.[13]

Eclipse-class Star Dreadnaught
Main article: Eclipse-class Star Dreadnaught
The Eclipse-class was designed as flagships for Galactic Emperor Palpatine and were constructed in relative secrecy. They were 17.5 kilometers in length, with much of their interiors taken up by generators, used to power the ship's main weapon, a scaled-down superlaser. The class's design was meant to invoke ancient sea-going warships.[9]

The Eclipse
The Eclipse was the lead ship of its class. It took almost 10 years to finish, with its construction beginning around the time of the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY.[8] It was hijacked by Zann Consortium forces at the Second Battle of Kuat in 4 ABY and later recovered.[22] Construction was moved to Byss, where it stayed in orbit for years, serving as a space station and meeting ground for various groups.[53] When finally commissioned during the return of Emperor Palpatine, it gained some notority with New Republic personnel, thanks to its devastating superlaser.[54] The Eclipse was lost above Pinnacle Base in 10 ABY, a victim of Palpatine's runaway Force powers.[40]

The Eclipse II
The Eclipse II was built in parallell with the Eclipse[8] and served as Palpatine's flagship after the loss of the first vessel. It fought in the Battle of Onderon in 11 ABY, was hijacked by a New Republic task force, and sent to the Beshqek system. Here, it crashed into the Galaxy Gun orbiting Byss, and was lost when the planet exploded.[55]

Executor-class Star Dreadnought
Main article: Executor-class Star Dreadnought
The Executor-class Star Dreadnought was the first class associated with the SSD moniker.[2] It was 19 kilometers in length, was powered by a central reactor underneath its command tower, had over 5,000 various weapons-systems,[4] and could carry over a thousand starfighters in its multiple hangar bays.[56] Its design was meant to overwhelm any opposition, sending the enemy into retreat or resignation by its mere presence.[2] The class became popular within the Imperial Navy, and officers desired such ships as a status symbol.[57] Since the Super-class designation originated with this ship, it was often called Super-class Star Destroyer interchangably with other terms.[2][58][59][8]

The Annihilator
Flagship of Admiral Gaarn. Destroyed at the Second Battle of Kuat in 4 ABY.[22]

The Enforcer
Commanded by Admiral Kohrin and fought a Rebel fleet near Bespin. It was damaged and sent to Phaylenn for repairs, but was ambushed while in drydock and destroyed.[60]

The Executor
Lead ship of its class and Darth Vader's flagship. Served as Vader's private headquarters for years[10] until its completion six months after the Battle of Yavin, in 0.5 ABY.[1] Participated in many battles before crashing into the Second Death Star at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY.[61]

The Guardian
Originally served in the home fleet of Imperial Center under Fleet Admiral Gaen Drommel. After Endor, he took the ship to Oplovis and became a warlord.[62] After a New Republic task force captured it, the Guardian became part of the New Republic Third Fleet and served with the Republic and the Galactic Alliance for decades.[16]

The Intimidator
Built for Black Sword Command, it was captured by the Yevetha during their uprising in 5 ABY. The Intimidator became one of their flagships, but was recaptured by Imperial slaves using its slave circuit, at the Battle of N'zoth in 17 ABY.[59] Years after their escape, it was found adrift in the Unknown Regions in 21 ABY, a derelict hulk.[35]

The Iron Fist
Originally named the Brawl, it was one of the first Executor-class vessels and was given to Zsinj upon his promotion to Admiral. He later used it in his campaigns against the New Republic as a warlord. The Iron Fist was finally destroyed over Dathomir in 8 ABY.[63]

The Knight Hammer
The Knight Hammer, formerly Night Hammer, was an Executor-class Star Dreadnaught equipped with black stealth armor and a slave circuit. It was built in secret by Imperial warlord Delvardus and used by Admiral Natasi Daala in an assault on the Jedi Praxeum in 12 ABY, where it was sabotaged and destroyed.[56]

The Lusankya
Originally named the Executor II,[51] the Lusankya was built in secret by KDY and contained less heavy batteries, substituted for more point-defense guns and an increased amount of automation. It was buried underneath the surface of Imperial Center after its commissioning. For years it stayed underground, acting as a prison facility, until 6 ABY, when it was used by Ysanne Isard as an escape vehicle[64] and later command ship in the Bacta War.[65] The vessel was captured by the New Republic and served in its navy until the Second Battle of Borleias during the Yuuzhan Vong War, where it was used as a giant projectile and destroyed.[66]

The Razor's Kiss
Built at Kuat Drive Yards, the Razor's Kiss was destroyed by the New Republic before it could be taken by warlord Zsinj.[42] He later used the remaining debris in a ruse to make it appear that his command ship, the Iron Fist, was destroyed in battle in 8 ABY. The remains were collected and assembled into the Second Death for this purpose.[67]

The Reaper
The Reaper was the flagship of Grand Moff Ardus Kaine. He used it as a command ship for his Scourge Squadron, hunting Rebel groups in the Outer Rim Territories. After Endor, Kaine struck out as a warlord and used the Reaper as the meeting place where the Pentastar Talks were held.[68] It later fought in Operation Shadow Hand, where Kaine lost his life. It was then used as a command ship by Admiral Gilad Pellaeon of the Imperial Remnant and ultimately fell during Pellaeon's successful counterattack against a New Republic invasion force.[35]

The Second Death
This vessel was assembled from the remains of the Razor's Kiss and used as a substitute for the Iron Fist, making it appear that the vessel had been destroyed. As such, it had no shields or weapons, but was fitted with a nightcloak to make it appear invisible until needed in battle.[67]

The Terror
The Terror was the flagship of Admiral Sarn. It was fitted with a stygium cloaking device, and used as a carrier for the first squadrons of TIE Phantom starfighters. It was meant to spearhead renewed assaults on the Rebel Alliance, but was destroyed over Imdaar Alpha in 3 ABY.[69]

The Vengeance
This Vengeance was an Executor-class ship that served as Admiral Senn's command vessel. It led Task Force Vengeance in an attempt to quell a Rebel expansion in the Airam sector and was believed destroyed at the Battle of Nocto.[70]

Imperial-class Super Star Destroyer
Main article: Imperial-class Super Star Destroyer

Imperial communications ship
The communications ship was a type of SSD used to communicate and coordinate the actions of other warships. To facilitate this, each vessel was fitted with dozens of hyperspace transceivers.[8]

Imperial Star Battlecruiser
While older classes like the Praetor were gradually shifted out of service,[7] newer battlecruiser lines were produced by KDY during the Galactic Civil War.[71]

Imperial Star Cruiser

Mandator-class Star Dreadnaught
Main article: Mandator-class Star Dreadnaught
The Mandator-class Star Dreadnaught consisted of two models built by KDY. The first provided protection for the Kuat sector prior to the Clone Wars,[25] while the second served in the Republic Navy during the war.[26]

Main article: Megador
The Megador was a sixteen-engined SSD that served in the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances.[32] It was armed with long-range turbolasers during the Second Galactic Civil War.[13]

Mobile repair base
The mobile repair base was a type of SSD dedicated to repairing and servicing other warships. As such it did not serve as command ships, which was typical for Super Star Destroyers.[8]

Praetor-class Star Battlecruiser
Main article: Praetor-class Star Battlecruiser
The Praetor-class Star Battlecruiser was a heavy warship equipped with powerful reactor-systems. They were produced during the time of the Galactic Republic, but were gradually replaced in the Galactic Empire. Despite this, some of the outdated ships were still in service during the Galactic Civil War.[7] The Rebel Alliance stole reactor equipment from a derelict Imperial Praetor and used them to power its defenses at the Battle of Hoth, holding off several Star Destroyers as well as Darth Vader's flagship, the Executor.[4]

The Quaestor
Main article: Quaestor
The Quaestor was a Republic Star Battlecruiser that destroyed the Separatist Pammant Docks in a hyperspace accident, which sent the ship plunging into Pammant itself, shattering the world to its core and flooding the planet with radiation.[26]

Sovereign-class Star Dreadnaught
Main article: Sovereign-class Star Dreadnaught
The Sovereign-class was a 15 kilometer long, scaled-down version of the Eclipse-class, meant for mass-production. Like the Eclipse, the Sovereign was armed with a superlaser as its primary weapon. None of the four initial ships survived the fall of the resurrected Palpatine, and were destroyed before completion.[9]

The Autarch
One of the first four Sovereign-class ships under construction at the time of Operation Shadow Hand.[9] Destroyed when Palpatine's resurrected Empire collapsed.[72]

The Despot
One of the first four Sovereign-class ships under construction at the time of Operation Shadow Hand.[9] Destroyed when Palpatine's resurrected Empire collapsed.[72]

Imperial-class Star Destroyer
The Imperial-class consisted of several Star Destroyer models built by Kuat Drive Yards over several decades.

Imperator/Imperial I-class Star Destroyer

Imperial-class Star Destroyer schematics.
Added by JMAS Main article: Imperial I-class Star Destroyer
The 1,600 meter long Imperator-class was created early on in the Clone Wars, but only saw widespread deployment after the rise of the Galactic Empire. Following the Jedi Purge, the class was renamed to Imperial, but the original name was used in some official documents. It came to symbolize the tyranny of Imperial rule and was used throughout the galaxy for many decades, even long after the fall of the Empire and the establishment of both the New Republic and later the Galactic Alliance, who appropriated many vessels and used them in their own navies.

Imperator II/Imperial II-class Star Destroyer
Main article: Imperial II-class Star Destroyer

The vessel was destroyed during the battle by Rebel starfighters.

Multi-kilometer Star Destroyer
Main article: Multi-kilometer Star Destroyer
This comprised an unknown number of ships bigger than Imperial-class Star Destroyers. They were built by at least one company, with Kuat Drive Yards producing them for decades.

Nebula/Defender-class Star Destroyer

The high cost of the Nebula-class Star Destroyer meant few ships were built.
Added by JMAS Main article: Nebula-class Star Destroyer
The Nebula-class, also known as Defender-class, was a class of expensive and powerful warships. They were only 1,040 meters long, but their firepower was strong enough to dominate any known Star Destroyer class at the time and could take on some Super Star Destroyers as well. Because of their power requirements, they were very expensive and had a relatively small production run. Despite this, they performed well as core fleets during the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer

Like the Interdictor-class cruiser, Sith battlecruiser, Venator-class Star Destroyer and Imperial-class Star Destroyer before it, the Pellaeon class Star Destroyer was the mainstay capital ship of its era. It was fielded over 100 years after the destruction of the Death Star.
Added by Bluntman Main article: Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer
The Pellaeon-class was built over 100 years after the Battle of Endor and the beginning of the downfall of the first Galactic Empire. Ships were distributed to several task forces at some point before the Black Fleet Crisis. They were 1,250 meters long and despite being bigger than the Nebula-class, were weaker than them, being less powerful than an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer.

Shockwave
Main article: Shockwave
The Shockwave was a heavy Star Destroyer built by Warlord Harrsk in his secret Deep Core shipyards. It resembled an oversized Imperial-class Star Destroyer, was armed with high-energy weapons, and could obliterate a Victory-class vessel in one shot. The Harrow
Main article: Harrow
The Harrow was a Victory-class Star Destroyer which had two main engines and two auxiliary engines instead of three main and four auxiliary engines. The vessel had only one docking bay.

In the early years of the New Republic, it participated in several skirmishes with Rogue Squadron before being defeated.

Victory I-class Star Destroyer

The Victory-class Star Destroyer was a rushed production and subsequently suffered for it in naval plans.
Added by Darth Culator Main article: Victory I-class Star Destroyer
The Victory I was rushed out of development as part of the Victor Initiative Project between KDY and Rendili StarDrive. They were 900 meters long and were not as well-made as other Star Destroyer designs, despite early successful campaigns like the hunt for the Bulwark Fleet during the Clone Wars. The Victory-class still managed to serve for many decades and for successive galactic governments despite its flaws.

Victory II-class Star Destroyer
Main article: Victory II-class Star Destroyer
The Victory II-class was made right after the establishment of the Galactic Empire, and was produced in even fewer numbers than the Victory I.

Behind the scenes
Concept art by Ralph McQuarrie of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer bridge
Added by JMASIn The Star Wars: Rough Draft, a Stardestroyers is a small two-man craft, rather than the large capital ships in the movies.

On the commentary track of the Revenge of the Sith DVD, George Lucas referred to General Grievous's ship, a Providence-class carrier/destroyer, as a "Star Destroyer." This might mean that the term "Star Destroyer" is not supposed to be restricted to dagger-shaped warships, which fits with the existence of the Bakura-class. However, this was likely just a generalization.

Interestingly enough, the term "Star Destroyer" is used both for different classes of destroyers and as a general term for most dagger-shaped warships in use by the Empire, from smaller frigates like Demolisher to giant dreadnoughts like Executor and Eclipse. This has created some confusion, as many sources often do not specify what kind of warship they are talking about, other than writing "Star Destroyer" or "Imperial Star Destroyer". Since many stories have historically focused on the mile-long Imperial-class, it is used as a default reference unless stated otherwise.

So? For all their cunning they only a had a few weapons, Fighter Lasers, Destroyer Lasers, Anti-Fighter Lasers, Death Star Super Lasers, Shields/Anti-Laser Defector Shield, Putonium core Torpedo's (anti-Death Star Core), Tractor Beam, Data Jammer, and Cloaking. (Btw unless nano batteries are invented, Lasers Onboard of Fighters will be impossible as Lasers use a HUGE amount of energy and require just the right curcumstances to funtion properly.)

Whereas pirate galaxy doesnt have massive ships but more advanced weapons meaning we could obliderate their fighters and ground troops leaving their ships defencesless allowing us to slaughter them.

Btw this is yet another reason PG needs capital ships.

well if we had capital ships we wouldn't be able to do much cause they wouldn't be able to fit on the map...lol. keep in mind the ships are pretty big (especially sol ships), but they're only meant to hold like 3-4 people on board so imagine how huge a capital ship would be....

but yes, we may have smaller ships but even vega has more advanced weaponry/armor/shield tech than star wars. though who's to say that the star wars empire wouldn't just jump in bed with the mantis like the Krygar Caste and get all this advanced stuff...then we'd REALLY be in trouble.
