Star Wars vs Pirate Galaxy. Warning! geekness within!

ok, so as many people may know (zeribrex for example), i am one hell of a nerd. i was thinking just now: what would happen if the galactic empire from star wars invaded our galaxy with say, 1000 star destroyers and 2 super star destroyers. and all that stands in their way are the massed fleets of the mantis and the humans...
dont ask me how i got to these thoughts, you might worry for my state of wellbieng, but lemme know who you think would win!
(oh, and if this is somehow breaking the copyright rule for the forum, erm...sorry)

well, we are all mostly small one man fighters and the mantis are mostly small ships. star destroyers are designed to take on large and medium sized ships. also, we would have hundreds of times more firepower. even if u added the Death Star to their side, we would still be for more powerful. it would take the entire empire to destroy all of the human and mantis ships(assuming there is no fighting between humans and mantis while this happens).

*agrees with peck* ion tech is old school, the empire might conquer vega and antares cause they use ion tech like the empire (vega at least), but the Fusion tech in gemini and mizar, and Antimatter tech in sol (and draconis?) would own them...could you imagine 1 shotting a Star Destroyer in an X Sniper? :mrorange: ^^ muahahahaha

The mantis kick back parts. They own quite awesome technology, such as organic ships that can reproduce and heal themselves, not to speak about gamma ray bombs.

The imperials (the pg imperials that is) owns pulse cannon technology, which might not be as strong as a deathstar, but still enough to destroy planetoids and capital ships, and a Pulse cannon is just as big as a large turret, and the moon is literary littered with them... just think of the strength of 1 000 Deathstars...

Imperials possess laser technology, which is stone-age compared to Antimatter tech, or fusion tech, and as it's best maybe equal to ion tech. In star wars movies, it seems as if it as almost impossible to destroy a larger shield, whcih probably means that laser weapons are a lot weaker, or perhaps that their shield tech is very advanced.

But let's go back to the mantis.

The mantis has awesome technology, most of the Imperial (our imperials) tech are gifts from the mantis, so just think what their most guarded weapons are...

but if you dont have the droid you have a big problem but the human would own every enemy thatcome here

They never actually say how many ships... it can be everything from just a few hundreds to hundreds of thousands...

Perhaps they just have large shipyards and advanced construction methods, so they can replace destroyed shiops quick.

Ok unless the galactic empire brought an eclipse star destroyer or the 2 different Death Stars, Pirate Galaxy wins by a mile, we are more manuverable and have much more diverse weapons systems, the empire only had tractor beams and lasers.

The only reason that the Sol ships are so overpowered is because of game balancing reasons.

In real ''scientific'' PG, the sol ships would only have, like 5 times more armor than a gemini ship...
